Hug Rejection.
Calder frowned as she slipped from his hold, standing there a moment wondering what to do with his arms. At last he set them to his side and started to walk. He had felt she needed comfort, but apparently he only made things worse.
"..right."
He looked about. "Well, this is the main campus. Up ahead is our main building where we have our classrooms. Our school then has 4 dorms. Monster. Undead. Reaper. Demon." Kind of like the 4 clans, now that he thought about it. Each dorm an island. Probably shouldn't mention that.
"Do you know much about ...well, monsters, demons, undeads, and reapers?" He wasn't sure as they all seemed to be put under the same group as horsemen. Some seemed fresher than others though.

It was hard to explain, why she felt the need to be distanced from his touch, from any touch. How it was already odd to show such emotions for her considering her job and nature. She was a warrior ages beyond him in years and somethings as simple as a hug where just alien to her from someone she hadn't grown up with or served with.
With the tour moving on she eyed each of the dorms curiously, "They house you by specicies as we did by island." A small smirk tickled the corner of her lips at the thought, it was hard to say what did and what didn't upset the ghoul.
"I have met your kind, monsters, demons, undead, reapers, even the hunters. You are young, but a foal to me little Kelpie. I have seen much of the islands I once called home, and just as much of the human. Yet...." she gestured to the world around them, "I spent little time here."

Calder's hands went into fists as he glared at her, cheeks puffing. "I'm not a foal." He mumbled, grumbling to himself as she called him a scarling. "I'm a stallion now." He told her, muttering more than ever as he glared at the ground.

"Tell me Calder then, how many name days does this scarling count on his life? Is the little Stallion keeping track?" Her eyebrow quirked slightly behind her helm as she watched the flustered little kelpie waiting for his response.

He grumbled, not wanting her to make fun of him, but wanting to prove his point even more. "I'm almost 19!" He huffed her, stomping a hoof on the ground. "I'm old enough to have a harem and fight in trials and everything." He was a STALLION now, damnit!

19. How cute.
"My little Stallion Foal, nineteen years are like days to these eyes." She moved closer shrugging her shoulders. "Among you're kind you may be a man, but to me you look young." Her fingers moved to stroke his cheeks half soft cool flesh, the others rough worn leather on his cheek. "I have seen civilizations come and go, trends and ideas pass through time. Little Foal you haven't seen a fraction of what these eyes know. You are a Foal, brave and bold, but still a foal to mine kin."
Her eyes lingered on him for a moment, past the softness of pity there was something more. Pain, sorrow, honor, a life lived as a warrior nothing more or less. "I mean not to be little you, but you speak with a fools tongue for one who claims to be so old."

Calder flicked his hair and tail as he stepped back from the touch. "I can't help when I was born, but that doesn't make me some scarling that doesn't know my tail from my muzzle! I've seen a LOT! I've been through a LOT! And I know what I see and what I feel and that counts for something. I may not have not lived a thousand years and I may not live that long now, not nearly as long as you, but that doesn't meant I don't know.... that I don't know things! My words and feelings hold just as much weight as someone a million years my elder. I'm not a kid!" He huffed, shouted at her.
"I can do things. I know things. I'm not....worthless or stupid!" If he was worthless and stupid, what use would he be to anyone?

The kelpie was very quickly pulling away his attitude not in the least polite when he spoke, then again, who would be when their age was pointed out so bluntly? In her defense, Nirva was anything but subtle when she wanted to make a point. "I am not saying you are worthless or stupid foal, though your quick temper may say otherwise. You did survive the death of my people and for that you are surely more then others are worth."
Her wings snapped out suddenly her arms crossed. "But such a temper, a foal like your self looks much better with a smile or tears in their eyes then rage on your lips." Her wings snapped down sending her floating into the air with a few heavy beats kicking dust up around them.
"When you smile more, seek this one at the camp of Death, this crow could teach a foal many things once he accepts." With that her wings snapped once more sending her back the way she had come. Perhaps she could tour the school grounds later, for now it seemed she had only succeed in ruffling the mane of one of the residents...

It was her fault for saying those things, but she was correcting her words. He made a mistake in taking it the wrong way? But she wasn't being very nice about it. Then again, she was new, and from what he met from being with the horsemen, they were their own type of people with their own mannerisms and culture. Did he get it wrong, and did he give her the wrong impression of the students here and other kelpies? He didn't want that at all!
Just as she started to fly away, he uncrossed his arms from his chest and looked up. She was leaving him - alone.
Frowning, he rose his hands up. "Hey! I'm sorry!" He called out, not wanting her to leave thinking he was a total jerk. "I'm sorry!"
