 Cloud transform into her demon year self and shook her head. "No, I can do it." Cloud kept cooking as she replayed the memories of her parents deaths. " Now when I think about it.....I was there at both of their deaths. Mom's death was the worst..." She thought aloud. ( In demon years she is 6. in human years she is 16....it's tricky ^^)

Valik stepped back. He was a bit confused by the transformation, but understood now. "What happened?" Valik asked, interested. He looked at his master's bandages. He wondered what happened to her as well, but he didn't think it was a good time to ask her.

Cloud sighed and looked up at Valik. "We went on a tour......I wanted to see what they did with trash....when my Dad died, I was 2. When we went on the tour, I found out that they would shred trash. Mom was looking inside....then she fell in.....or should I say...pushed in. And I was 3." Cloud told him sadly. She countinued to cook but she kept seeing their deaths in her mind. Cloud chuckled before saying, " And to think the crybaby, me, is such a nice person." Cloud smiled at Valik with a happy smile.

Valik stared intently at her. He winced, thinking about someone falling in that terrible machine. "Wait, pushed? Who did that?" he had a disgusted tone. "Why would someone be sick enough to do that?" Sure, Valik has killed plenty of people in his time, but the cases were different. Never would he take a child's parents away.

Cloud started at Valik, her eyes had no emotion in them but coldness. Her lips formed an errie smile and she said, "Why would I know...? It might be the same person who takes everything from me. Anybody that I get close too, that is." Cloud chuckled a cold laugh and began to cook again as if she didn't say anything at all.

Valik shook his head. Will they try and take me away? he wondered. But that wasn't the most important. What was is keeping Cloud safe. That's his job now.
Valik sat down at the counter. "Well, I can keep you safe." he said, looking at her.

Cloud blushed placed food on the table and said cheerfuly, "No need for you to do that! You can just relax here!" Cloud dragged herself to a phone and dialed a number in it. She glanced at Valik, "You can eat, I have to make a call to someone." Cloud told Valik quickly before talking in the phone. "I got a new slave.....yeah...when can you get here..? Ok, I'll see you then." Cloud mumbled on the phone.

Valik's eyes widened at the perfect meal. He immediately began eating, mouth practically drooling. He slowed down when seeing she was on the phone. Who's coming here? he thought suspiciously. Valik continued eating when noticing she was about done with the conversation.
He would be cautious of the person. Cloud said she doesn't know who's after her, so it could be anyone. You can't be too careful.

Cloud kept mumbling stuff in the phone before she slammed it down. Cloud sighed with irritation and crawled over to the table. She began to tidy up her hair quickly but neatly. "So how's the food?" Cloud grinned up at Valik.

Valik glanced up at her, then back at the food. "Delicious." he answered. It was already almost gone. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and looked at her. "Are we going somewhere? You look like you're getting ready for something." he said.

Cloud smiled and said in a happy way, "No, A few thu-....er.....I mean friends are dropping by quickly. I'm just getting ready for them to come. You must always look the best for your guests." Cloud forced herself into a sitting position and waited quietly. A few moments later two men in black suits came.

Valik felt uneasy. Thugs? What? What was it she was going to say? he raised an eyebrow. Valik stood when the men came. The men had come before he could question Cloud about the guests, but he would try to do that later. He studied the men, keeping quiet, only to speak if he was spoken to.

Cloud transformed again, she glared at the men and said angerly, "How Much will it cost this time?" The men whispered to eachother then one stepped up and said, "Looks about.........$8,000?, We know you can pay that Choppy." Cloud rolled her eyes. "Any chance of lowering the price?"

Valik walked up next to his master, showing he is protective of her. He glared down the men, knowing now they weren't welcomed guests. Loansharks, maybe? he suggested in his head. He himself didn't want them here either. He would wait a few moments before speaking up, if needed.

Cloud sighed and raised her arms, "Fine, I'll pay it. You can pick it up tonight, is that good?" Cloud surrenderd. The men talked and nodded their heads in agreement. One of them came up to Cloud and whispered something in her ear. They waved good-bye and left. Cloud put down her arms and rolled her eyes.
