Large Sword Style- Wicked Strength
Strong, Slicing, Steel

----------

Briefing~
You have a large heavy sword, along the way to becoming a master of this style. To gain up a level, you must first speak with the head master of the style. Then once he has approved it, 30 posts of heaving weight lifting, each time getting more and more and more, heaver. Different stages, have different ways of getting there.

Note:
No matter what stage you are, the blade is a blade. Its gonna be sharp.

----------

Stages~

Stage 1~ No Rank Requirement

At stage one, you are a new wielder of the blade, meaning it is quite heavy for you. The sword is always strapped to your back almost pulling you down. But you are able to swing the sword with some strength. When you swing the sword, it will hit the ground casing it to crack a little at least 6 inch radius.
Swinging is rather slow, but still powerful.
Powers-
Nothing much right now, Your a novice. You have the strength to wield the blade but only thanks to the training you got before you even got to this stage. Somebody blocking the sword, doesn't have any affect.
Training~
To get to this stage, you have to first lift heavy weights, at least half your body weight. For the sword weights as much as you if not more. The lifting the weights, must go on for 30 posts. You may use free hand weights, bench press. others if you like.

----------

Stage 2~ Genin

At stage two you have gotten stronger with the sword, you no longer fumble when you swing it. When it connects with the floor. the strength of the swing is much stronger now. Only because of the training that was given to you. The strength of the swing is doubled now, it is able to create a crater on the floor with a radius of 2 ft.
Swing is a bit faster, but still bulky and can't be moved fast.
Powers~
You are stronger thanks to the training you have done in this stage. When somebody goes up against the sword blocking it, they get pushed back a little. The strength of the sword swing is quite powerful.
Training~
This training involves going underneath a waterfall, with weights. You have to do push ups, sit ups, shadow punching in place. The water full gives a lot of force and forms tight muscles and gives for a great tone structure. Lifting weights gives you more strength to handle their swords. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 3~ Genin

At stage three power is a lot stronger, Swings are faster as much as they are strong. The swing when it hits the ground is a strong instead of a 2 ft radius, the swing is now around 4ft radius, causing vibrations through the ground. Almost making the earth shake, not really, but gives the image of that. The way you swing is faster now, because of the training. Being handle to handle the sword more. (Highest level you can get as a genin)
Powers~
At this stage, no powers are given. But thanks to the training you are much stronger now, When somebody tries to block your sword swing. They will be pushed back at least 3 feet, if not crushed underneath the blow.
Training~
In this training method, you double the weight you did before, its your body mass now if not more. This can be done with free weights, bench press. Weights going onto your arms as he practice swinging. Soon a swing becomes as easy as breathing. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 4~ Chunin

At stage Four, your power with strength is quite powerful, at a swing of a sword you can cut down a tree with one strong blow. It cuts it like a knife throw jello If the sword would hit the ground, it would cause the blade to create a crater at least 8 ft radius, causing once again vibrations, almost like an earth quake. The blade has a firmer grip too, giving for handling better, making using the sword faster and able to block. (Chunnin)
Powers~
The new handle gives some powers finally to the sword, as charka gets put into the handle it allows for the kanji to glow. Then able to create a lightning jutsu. The lightning justu is C-ranked, As you swing your blade, it creates static that can send out a lightning bolt from the sword. Being underneath the sword when being throw down against another ninja blocking would be sent back 6 ft.
Training~
Nothing much in this one, just swing harder and faster then before. Weights up to to more then how much you way. Swings will be strong, try cutting down trees and trying to hit down against something strong if not just swinging. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 5~ Jonin

At stage Five, your power with strength is quite strong, at a swing of a sword you can cut down a tree with one strong blow again. It cuts it like a knife throw jello If the sword would hit the ground, it would cause the blade to create a crater at least 12 ft radius, causing once again vibrations, almost like an earth quake. (Jounin, Unless master)
Powers~
The swing is stronger once again, the powers are even newer. When you strike down your sword against somebody that is blocking, they get pushed back for a while, if not getting crashed against a tree, 9 ft. The last jutsu is allowed in this stage too but now you have another one. When you stab the ground when your charka is being used into it. Lightning moves through the ground for the 12 ft to 16 ft radius around you.
Training~
Training is almost done, you have this training and one more training until your master. To get to this level you must put on one more weights. Even more then that last time, this time, you got the weight of your sword you are using. (30 posts)

----------

Stage 6, Final Master Stage~ Sanin

This is the last and final stage of being a master, after this last training you have become one of the masters. When you swing down your sword your smash creates a large crater around you for 20 ft. The ground shakes and almost cuts the earth in half, (around you) You can swing at full speed now thanks to the training you have done. You can move the sword almost as if it was a normal sword. (Highest level you can get to.)
Powers~
You are still allowed to do the jutsu from behind, but now you have one last one. This one is a B ranked move. You swing your sword around and throw the tip of the blade to the air. A lightning bolt shoots out into the sky and then creates a storm cloud that sends down 9 lightning bolts towards your target.
Training~
This is the final training, no more weights, just stand underneath a waterfall swinging your sword around in quick slashes. As you do this remember you need to clean your sword after you are done so it doesn't rust out. (!5 normal posts, then 15 more in storm for the jutsu.)

----------

~Jutsu
Note: Justu used in a lower stage can still be used in an upper stage.

Stage Four~

Lightning blot -D-ranked.
As you swing your blade, it creates static that can send out a lightning bolt from the sword. The lightning is aimed at your opponent, Do not use unless you are trying to kill your target.

Stage Five~

Lightning Strike-C-ranked
When you stab the ground when your charka is being used into it. Lightning moves through the ground for the 12 ft to 16 ft radius around you.

Stage Six

Lightning Cloud -B-ranked
You swing your sword around and throw the tip of the blade to the air. A lightning bolt shoots out into the sky and then creates a storm cloud that sends down 9 lightning bolts towards your target.

The Erai Kame Gaikaku

Sturdy, Encased, Heavy

Style Type: Weaponry (Heavy) and Hand-to-hand
Weapon Type(s): Halberd or Poleaxe
Other Equipment: Heavy Armor

Information:
Legions of warriors that used this style were sent into battle, conquering everyone in their path. The combatants were known for their heavy armor and long-handled weaponry, which resulted in them destroying half of the the great shinobi nations. Virtually nothing could defeat these masters of the Erai Kame Gaikaku because of their heavy armor and powerful, long-reaching weaponry... Providing the perfect defense.

Training Method(s):
The method is focused mainly on the physical strength of the user, so lifting weights and overall physical exercise with a good diet are essential for increasing stages. You must have at least 15 posts in training in order to master the stages.

Stage One: No Rank Requirement
The user's strength reading isn't that high, as in the E-D range. Users of The Erai Kame Gaikaku at this stage can only wear light armor such as a thin leather vests and the like.

Name: Blunt Strike
Rank: D
Range: Melee
Description: The user lunges forward, swinging one arm to try and hit the opponent with their forearm. Blunt Strike works better as the user gains better, more hard armor.

Name: Upwards Slice
Rank: C
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: The user minister's an upwards strike with their halberd or poleaxe. Slice marks will usually end up on the chin, groin, and torso in mildly lethal lacerations.

Stage Two: Genin
The learner of this style is starting to get the hang of things concerning heavy armor. At this point, they have a thin, iron plate that covers the left breast and a gauntlet covering everything from their fingers to the mid-forearm on the dominant hand. The armor may be pierced by kunai that are stabbed into the armor, but not ones that are thrown. The armor also protects from lower-level taijutsu attacks as a whole as well as adding to the power of the 'Blunt Strike.'

Name: Counter and Kick
Rank: C
Range: Counter
Description: As a person is charging the user of this jutsu with a knife, kunai, sword, or any other bladed weapon, the user swings the halberd or poleaxe. This action swats the blade away, leaving the opponent open for an attack. By using the momentum of the wing, the user swings around to kick the target in the torso. This technique gets stronger as they get heavier armor on their feet.

Name: Downwards Strike
Rank: C
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: The user raises their halberd or poleaxe, and brings it down on the victim's head in a death-blow like fashion. Shinobi and Kunoichi administering this technique may jump to add more power, focus chakra into the blade, or both at the same time. This technique is easily countered for the concept of countering, but it requires much physical strength to fully counter it. If the victim is not physically strong, and must use chakra, they will use much chakra.

Stage Three: Genin
Ninja at this level of learning this style are getting more adept to their heavy armor. The armor slightly lowers the user's speed, and is now usually kept withing a large scroll on their back's mid-section. They now have shoulder plates and a full breast plate, rendering most chuunin-level taijutsu attacks useless. Studs are sometimes put within the shoulders to strengthen some types of attacks.

Name: Shoulder Charge
Rank: B
Range: Melee
Description: The user lowers their shoulder, and rams into the opponent's torso and knocking them down. This taijutsu technique is commonly used right before the 'Downwards Strike' technique to ensure an accurate deathblow. Studs are sometimes placed on the shoulder plates to strengthen the hit.

Name: Bladed Punch
Rank: B (Also requires A-rank strength)
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: By grabbing the handle of the weapon closely to the bladed segment, the user creates a make-shift bladed knuckle that can cut and pierce the opponent. Also, the handle can hit the target too.

Stage Four: Chunin
Along with the armor already gained, the sere of this style also gains iron boots that are set knee-high. The armor slows the user down even more, and is even more encouraged to put the armor in a scroll until needed. The breast plate and gauntlets conceal the arms and entire torso, and is much thicker. The vulnerable the areas are the thighs.

Name: Hal-quake
Rank: A (Also requires S-rank strength and A-rank chakra control)
Range: 20 meters, every direction
Description: The user raises their halberd or poleaxe high above their head, focusing a large amount of chakra into the blade. Then by swinging the blade into the ground, the chakra transfers into ground and creates an earth-quake. The quake can make enemies in range stumble and fall, creating an opening for an attack. If someone were to get in the way of the weapon, they would be cleaved completely in half.

Name: Bone Splitter
Rank: A (Also requires S-rank strength)
Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: The user attacks with a full out assault with their weapon. It's known for splitting bones and breaking even the most strong of barriers. This is the Kaguya's demise.

Stage Five: Jonin
The user is fully encased in an inch-thick, steel armor. Most taijutsu attacks are repelled by the armor, which fully covers the person save for the face. Due to the heaviness of the armor, the armor leaves the person at 20% speed. When the armor is not in use, most ninja keep the armor within a scroll due to it's weight and bulkiness.

Name: Flying Blades
Rank: A (Also requires S-rank chakra control and no armor on)
Range: Supplementary
Description: After jumping up into the air, the user spins the halberd above their head at high speeds by focusing chakra into their forearms, hands, and their weapon. This creates a mild 'lift' effect and allows the user to fly for a short time. (Two Posts)

Name: Halberd Rotation
Rank: S (Also requires S-rank chakra control and S-rank strength)
Range: 30 meters, all directions
Description: The user focuses a large amount of chakra into the bladed part of the halberd or poleaxe. By swinging the halberd or poleaxe in a full 360 degree rotation, it releases a large blast of pure chakra. It is very useful for counter attacks and getting many enemies out at one time.

Stage Six: Sanin
Stage Six is the final stage of the Erai Kame Gaikaku taijutsu style. Spikes have been added to the shoulder plates of the wearer. The armor must now be put into a scroll for storage, as when wearing it, the users mobility speed is only 15%. A more positive outlook on the stage is that the user has become so adept at wielding halberds is that they can now wield two at the same time. The halberds are usually identical, as different designs interfere with combat.

Name: Halberd Gun
Rank: S (Also requires S-rank Chakra control)
Range: 60meters
Description: The user aims the top end of the halberd at the target, focusing a large amount of chakra into the tip. Then by fully releasing it from the halberd, will shoot out a bullet of chakra capable of piercing flesh.

Stolen Salvation: Style of the Drawing Sword
[Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu]

Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu is a very beautiful sword style practiced by the sword wielders of the world but most commonly in Rain. This style itself was originally supposed to be a derivative of the Iaido style but when all was said and done it ended up being classified as a Battoujutsu.

The main purpose of the style is to strike and damage in the smallest possible time frame. In order to accomplish this, practitioners will attack while drawing their sword. The style is considered an arrogant style because after the sword is swung, whether or not it hits, the practitioner will wipe the blade and replace it in its sheathe as if they were done using it. This is part of the Iaido teachings incorporated into the style. The practice of wiping the blade after each cut and then replacing it into its sheathe keeps the blade in tip-top shape.

The style also utilizes a special blade design created by the originator of the style, which was a woman known simply as Setsuka. The blade design was named after the woman, Setsuka which means 'Snow Flower.' The blade design is that of a long and thin sword with a shallow curve. The blade is made of a very light titanium alloy yet despite its weight it is very powerful because of the extremely sharp edge that can be made and kept. The blade is also hidden within a parasol so as to trick those who dare to cross blades with the practitioners of this style.

Setsuka
The setsuka is a weapon meant for the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu fighting style. It is an old fashioned parasol made of bamboo and rice paper. The shaft of the parasol sheathes a long and thin blade with a shallow curve to it. The blade is actually built like a katana but is made of a lighter material that is thinner, sharper, and a little longer than a traditional katana

Chihana
A more advanced form of the Setsuka weapon. Though based on the same principals the Chihana is usually longer then the Setsuka. It is also a thicker and sturdier blade for the more powerful attacks that are caused by a much more skilled practitioner. It is about the size of an odachi.

Stage 1

Academy

Life of Iai [Nukitsuke]

The Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu is a style like no other. The practitioners learn the concept of killing in the smallest timeframe as humanly possible. To accomplish this they learn to attack whilst they are drawing their blades and to use the entire umbrella in a fight, like using the shade as a distraction and shield. They are also taught that the quickest way to kill someone is to get them in as close as possible; in order to do that in a battle they must leave an opening that the enemy will most likely exploit and once they do they die. This means training their bodies to not only be quick but to be able to take a lot of pain. Because of the low level of the practitioners at this stage are often slower and much less fluid than higher-ups and the majority are not yet brave enough to take a hit.

Special Techniques

The Art of the Drawing Sword [Battoujutsu]

Passive ability in which the user strikes an enemy whilst they remove their blade from sheathes. In doing this, the user adds ½ of his or her agility to the strikes that occur in this fashion.

Umbrella Shield [Tate no Kasa]

By focusing chakra into the rice paper shade of the Setsuka/Chihana the user can make a shield that is much more resistant to attacks than a normal umbrella shade.

Stage 2

Genin

This World of Suffering [Kataku]

The second stage for most styles show progression towards being able to kill, or at the very least wound, at a higher level than they were able to in the previous ones, but the second level or the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu does not. Instead the second stage focuses more on turning the practitioners view into the big picture. This allows the practitioner to refrain from getting arrogant over little victories, such as scoring a hit, and pushes them to look for a kill. One of the ways they are trained in this is to leave certain spots on their body open for attack so that their opponent will get caught up in the small victories and forget to look at the big picture, which will end up killing them. The training during this stage is intense in the fact that it is meant to make the practitioner much more resilient to pain so it often includes being severely beaten.

Special Techniques

One for the Win [Ichi Shouri]

During a fight the user will leave a certain part of their body open for the opponent to exploit it, which brings them in closer for the kill. This part of the body is reinforced with chakra and when hit the chakra will reduce the pain that the user would normally receive.

As the Edge of thy Blade [Mamaha]

By focusing a large amount of chakra into either their blade or the umbrella the user can create an extended point or edge made completely out of chakra but just as effective as steel.

Stage 3
Chunin

The Snow Flower Doth Bloom Young [Setsuka Nasu Sakidasu]

One of the most feared stages in the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu style. This stage gets its name from the sudden burst of skill. To balance out the previous stage in which they simple prepared their bodies the practitioner now trains the body to move at higher speeds solely for the purpose of more effective killing strikes. Because of their lack of training with their cutting skill in the previous stage the practitioner must train extremely hard to get to this level. Once they are at it though their skill level far surpasses that of several of the sword styles in the other shinobi villages. This is also the stage where a new sword, much like the Setsuka, is introduced to the practitioner: the Chihana. It is not required that it is used but it is highly recommended.

Special Techniques

Glides Across thy Opponent [Kassou Juudan Hantaisha]

For a more effective cut the user must usually put much more strength into an attack and this can be a problem for swordsmen who focus more on other attributes. To remedy this problem the user can funnel chakra into their sword. This chakra surrounds the blade as an aura with the majority of the chakra focused on the edge of the blade. This aura is made to be like a wedge and when it is pushed to slice skin it will expand the wound and forcing it to cut deeper much more than usual.

Stage 4
Jounin

The Snow Flower Doth Wilt [Setsuka Nasu Shinabiru]

After focusing on their pain tolerance then going to work specifically on their speed and skill of strikes, the practitioner returns to training in a happy medium between the two. With their ability, and willingness, to open up any specific spot on their body to an attack, a ploy to get the enemy to within about arm's length, the practitioner now tries to open up what would normally be considered dangerous to do so such as the neck or parts of the torso instead of just the extremities. At this stage the practitioner also learns how to use the Chihana, an odachi sized weapon, in that close of a range. Usually they learn how to use parts of the blade to attack the opponent instead of the entire length of it.

Special Techniques

The Snow Grows Red [Yuki Hayasu Akaaka]

A highly effective cutting technique. The user laces chakra through their blade, which counters the effects of blood platelets and healing jutsu. Doing this gives the opponent an open wound that will not be healed. Not only does this effectively weaken the opponent but also it makes it much easier to trail them. (Cannot be healed by any medical jutsu that is Jounin level or lower. Advanced Jounin level and higher techniques can heal it, but have a slower healing effect.)

Stage 5
Saanin

As Lifeless as Cold Ashes [Shikai]

Able to take what would normally be considered a mortal wound and keep on going at extreme speeds the practitioner has become nothing short of an angel of death. They have gained the title of Shikai, which refers to their ability to completely ignore pain because they feel no pain they are as lifeless as cold ashes. At this final stage the practitioner rounds off all of their training thus far into one perfect sword style that can bring down even the mightiest of foes.

Special Techniques

Seppuku [Seppuku]
The ultimate move with regards to the Tsukyuusei-ryu Battoujutsu. The user brings the opponent into less than an arm's length away. The user then takes their main weapon and pierces both the opponent's body and their own body. The attack, though considered reckless, has the potential to be a highly effective technique. The name is really a misnomer since it is used a bit differently. The user takes their blade and flips it upside down, cutting edge up, the shoves it through their abdomen, from their back, up into the chest cavity of their enemy. This is an especially sneaky attack to use because most people with not expect the user to possibly kill themselves just to kill their enemy.

Close quarters knife combat

Description:
The Sobagai Deba Sentou is a close combat countering weapon / body style. Utilizing reaction time and handling. Using only a simple combat knife and precision, practitioners can swiftly counter weapon and body techniques from various framed opponents. This bukijutsu style is typically used as a secondary style, usually when the practitioner's main weapon is knocked away or destroyed; or their other attempts at combat prove fruitless.

Notes:
• Sobagai Deba Sentou contains various techniques branded with the type "Practice." When these techniques are learned, they become passive benefits for the practitioner.
• "Practice" techniques are learned as if Simple techniques of the same rank.

S t a g e O n e [1]

Countering Technique: Upward Repel
Simple :: Rank E
When the enemy attack closes in, the user will repel with the knife with an upward slashing motion. This upward repel may have enough exerting force to startle or offset the enemy.

Offensive Technique: Assisted Jab
Complex :: Rank E
Channeling chakra into the wielding hand, the user will stab with the hilt of his blade. The end result is a powerful blunt jab that can wind the target if it connects correctly.

Offensive Style: Knife Stances
Practice :: Rank E
The user becomes more accustomed to upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions. Increasing the speed in which they can be performed by a moderate margin.

Offensive Style: Simple Play
Practice :: Rank E
With this practice, the user is able to more comfortably switch between upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions in a pinch.

S t a g e T w o [2]

Countering Technique: Back Repels
Simple :: Rank D
A hasty knife repel mainly used to confuse the enemy. After an attack has been parried upward, the user will throw his knife upward, meanwhile spinning around the enemy's side to get into position to catch the knife as it falls.

Trick Technique: Change of Hands
Simple :: Rank D
During any freestyle form of vertical or horizontal slashes, the user will perform a simple pass, switching their knife from one hand to the other. Consecutive usage can result in a massive amount of confusion and inescapable slashing barrages.

Trick Technique: Kneecap Surprise
Simple :: Rank D
The user will begin by performing a simple combination of horizontal slashes, often ending in [ Change of Hands. ] At any point during this chain of cuts, the user will steady their movement, and rather than continue with their previous slashes, flip and toss the knife into the opponent's leg. Often stabbing into the kneecap, or busting it with a powerful hilt impact.

Offensive Technique: Swift Dart
Complex :: Rank D
Channeling chakra to his hand, then the knife, the user tosses his blade at a decently increased speed, while the chakra causes it to pierce the air- making almost no noise.

Trick Style: Knife Toss
Practice :: Rank D
The practitioner has developed a greater sense of precision- able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the hilt with ease. ( Only by the hilt, not the tip of the blade. )

Offensive Style: Artless Draw
Practice :: Rank D
The practitioner has better developed their ability to pull their blade straight from its resting place to an offensive slash.

S t a g e T h r e e [3]

Trick Technique: Knife Punt
Simple :: Rank C
A very tricky yet powerful attack that can often end a fight on the spot. After dropping an enemy's defenses, often by parrying one of their attacks, the user will drop his knife. As the knife drops, the practitioner will time a kick in order to punt the knife upward- back into the opponent's exposed body. If truly successful, the knife will typically end up somewhere in the head of the enemy.

Trick Technique: Dirty Reflection
Simple :: Rank C
Given proper conditions, the user will angle their knife as to reflect sunlight into the enemy's eyes. Although it seems like a meager act that anyone could do, this training is solely for the purpose of precision- teaching the user how to tilt their blade in such a way as to reflect a focused amount of light.

Offensive Technique: Vital Poke
Complex :: Rank C
The user builds up chakra in a freehand, then surges it to the finger tips of the same hand, causing a very thin and short ranged aura to form. From here, the user will attempt to poke the target in the stomach, chest, upper arm, or upper leg. If connection is properly made, the opponent will feel as though they have just been internally stabbed. Although contact at the stomach or chest causes more damage, a solid stab to the arm or leg can cripple the opponent's usage of said limb.

Offensive Style: Two-fer-One
Practice :: Rank C
The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives.

S t a g e F o u r [4]

Piercing Technique: What Defense?
Simple :: Rank B
While assaulting a blocking enemy, the user will attempt to outreach and grasp their arm. If successful, the user will then pull in the enemy's arm, while kicking outward with incredible force. Because of the contradiction of motions, this can easily break arms or disarm the target.

Disrupting Technique: Tingling Elbow
Complex :: Rank B
After breaking through an opponent's defense, typically via a parry, the user will deliver a powerful chakra-enhanced elbow strike to their head or sternum. As the elbow makes contact with the target, the built up chakra will be dispersed all at once- rushing to certain muscles to momentarily disrupt them. For a short amount of time, the opponent will then be unable to move their limbs, no matter what signals the brain gives to them.

Trick Style: Retreating Feet
Practice :: Rank B
The practitioner, already frequented by many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.

Trick Style: Blade's Edge
Practice :: Rank B
The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision- able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Additionally, some projectiles, such as shuriken or kunai, can be caught by their tip.

S t a g e F i v e [5]

Countering Technique: Oopsie and Over
Simple :: Rank A
As an enemy attempts to deliver a straight forward attack, typically a punch or lunge, the user will grab the enemy's arm, and twist. Then, making use of their superior footwork and agility, leap overhead while still holding the arm, sufficiently causing severe pain, broken bones, or popped sockets.

Disrupting Technique: Severe Acupuncture
Complex :: Rank A
The user forms a powerful chakra aura around a knife, causing it to become lost in a haze, no longer appearing as an object, merely a flaming sharp shape in the user's hand. From here, the user will attempt to deliver a powerful hilt slam to one of the target's limbs. If contact is made with an arm or leg, it will cause said limb to go limp. However, if contact is made with the head, it will send a powerful surge throughout the body that renders the target immobile for some time. (2 - 4 posts)

Offensive Style: Steppless
Practice :: Rank A
The practitioner has become so used to performing quick and silent steps that they scarcely realize that they themselves are moving. Footsteps are almost utterly silent, and overall agility is increased.

S t a g e S i x [6]

Offensive Technique: Should Height
Simple :: Rank A
The user will attempt to position themselves atop their enemy's shoulders, legs wrapped around the neck. From here, the user will simply attempt to twist their legs, snapping the neck; or if they're feeling gory, stab into the enemy's trapped head.

Offensive Technique: Cutting and Crumbling
Simple :: Rank A
A quick technique in which the user draws their knife close to their wrist, then closes the distance with their target, and attempts to deliver two powerful blows to the enemy's sides. The user will perform horizontal chops inward on the enemy, the two blows together resulting in a good amount of external damage, in addition to stun.

Disrupting Technique: False Signals
Complex :: Rank S
The user channels chakra into their knife causing it blur out just as in [ Severe Acupuncture, ] before attempting to stab deep into the target's upper torso. As the knife digs into the enemy's chest, the chakra stored within it leaks throughout, tampering with pathways both physical and spiritual. So long as the knife remains in the enemy, all signals sent to the body are disrupted and sent to different places- a command to move the legs may result in a twitch of the nose, a request to clutch the fist could result in straight kick, and a jump could be the usage of an elemental technique, who knows? Even after the knife has been removed, the disruption still has some effect. ( 1 - 3 posts. )

Defensive Style: Plucking Roses
Practice :: Rank S
The practitioner is so well developed in their art that they are now able to snatch shuriken, kunai, senbon, and other such projectiles straight from the air.

Offensive Style: Mistborn Stepping
Practice :: Rank S
Silent, swift, and sharp. The practitioner is able to creep about at a decent pace while making close to zero noise.

Shigure Souen
A legacy of greatness and evolution.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
This technique originated with one man, and like a family tree, it grew. As the technique was passed down, the more the tree grew. It is common for a generation to add a new form to the Shigure Souen. This is a sword style that varies, depending on who your master was. Thus, there could be many different variations of the Shigure Souen Style.

The Shigure Souen Style is a notoriously deadly sword style that is only passed down to worthy successors. Each 'form' of the style is only shown once to the student - if the student is worthy to succeed, he only needs to see it once to remember how to use it from then on. It originally only had one form that was passed down through generations of successors with each successor creating and adding their own forms resulting in many branches of Shigure Souen Style. However, as new forms were created, the weaker branches deteriorate, and others disappear as there is no worthy successor; hence, this style can be called the perfect, flawless style.

N o t e s:
• This style contains various techniques branded with the type "Training." When these techniques are learned, they become passive benefits for the practitioner.

Hakyoku-ken no Kata
Destruction reaped in a single sweep

D e s c r i p t i o n:
Hakyoku-ken no Kata, or Style of the Catastrophe Blade, is an extremely powerful and wide style of swordsmanship not often practiced by shinobi. Because it was traditionally used by feudal soldiers, the use of the style by shinobi was truly unheard of. However, as time progressed, the usefulness of this art was remembered, and the workings of Hakyoku-Ken no Kata have been reconfigured to better suit the lighter framed warriors of this era.
Designated as one of the most rigorous and difficult to master Bukijutsu in the world; those of the Hakyoku-Ken no Kata are rare. Finding a shinobi able to make use of such a style are ever more scarce. The reason for this is because of the basis of the style- Massive, unorthodox, and heavy weapons.

N o t e s:
• Complex Techniques require [1] extra post to learn.
• Requires a heavy two-handed weapon.
• Must be of large body frame.

S t a g e O n e [1]
Ju Suto [ Heavy Smash ]
Simple :: Rank E
The practitioner lugs their massive weapon over their shoulder in a single slow, yet powerful, vertical strike.

Soin [ Sweep ]
Simple :: Rank E
The practitioner drags their weapon against the ground; by utilizing a quick pivot turn, the user performs a hasty radial slash. Because of the weapon, the inexperienced have a difficult time stopping themselves.

S t a g e T w o [2]
Sasu [ Stab ]
Simple :: Rank D
By bringing the pommel of their weapon to their stomach, the user keeps their center of gravity low, and lunges out with both arms- performing a quick yet powerful poke. The inexperienced will likely stumble.

Houyou no Yochi [ Earth's Embrace ]
Complex :: Rank D
The practitioner slams his weapon into the ground, creating a one yard radial shock wave of chakra. Not meant to make contact on its own; this shock wave can make even the surest of footing crumble. Allowing for an easy follow through technique to a wobbling opponent.

S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Saidai Shinpuku [ Upwards Swing ]
Simple :: Rank C
The practitioner places the tip of their weapon to the ground, then pulls upward with all the might they can muster. Although extremely powerful and rather swift, an inexperienced user is left open after performing the technique.

Hiki [ Saw ]
Simple :: Rank C
The practitioner takes their weapon into a single hand, rising the opposite arm to rest the majority of the weight. The user then performs a swift sidestep and attempts to hack at their opponent with a single hard rising vertical strike. Because of the balancing of the weapon against their arm, this technique is extremely fast and offers only a minor window of opportunity for the opponent as it ends.

Taikutsuna Sutoraiki [ Dull Blade ]
Complex :: Rank C
The practitioner entrusts their weapon with chakra and then performs an empty swing. When he sees fit, the user stops mid-swing, causing the chakra to fling off in a sharp snap.
• Max range: 10 yards.

Nibui Sasu [ Blunt Stab ]
Complex :: Rank C
The practitioner entrusts their weapon with chakra and then performs an empty stab. When he sees fit, the user stops mid-stab, causing the chakra to fling off in a sharp snap.
• Max range: 12 yards.
• Learned when [ Taikutsuna Sutoraiki ] is learned.

S t a g e F o u r [4]
Tetsu Rakka [ Iron Drop ]
Simple :: Rank B
The practitioner musters all their might, and with a hard kick, leaps high overhead. Rearranging their position, the user will then dive back down with their massive weapon ready to pierce through or crush their target.

Bakuyaku Ugoki [ Explosive Movement ]
Complex :: Rank B
A technique developed by shinobi in order to remove the weight burden of their weapon for a brief moment. By placing a hefty amount of chakra to their lower half, the user fortifies and strengthens their muscles- No longer will it feel as though they are lugging around a weapon that could easily be the same weight as they are. However, because of its mechanics, this technique is not meant to be used for long durations. The strengthening of the muscles allows the user to make a quick dash or leap in order to close great distances. Nothing more.

Hayai Ugoki [ Swift Movement ]
Complex :: Rank B
An alteration of [ Bakuyaku Ugoki ].
The practitioner applies the same method of chakra reinforcement, but rather than allow it to fade out in a single burst, they further mold the chakra in order to hold it in place. For a short amount of time, the user will able to move around as if they were completely free of their weapon or armor's weight burden.
• Lasts [5] posts.

Nobi Ken [ Stretching Blade ]
Complex :: Rank B
As if the length of the practitioner's giant weapon wasn't long enough; this technique was developed to further increase the reach of such weapons. By pressing chakra to their pommel, the user manifests a skin over their weapon. This skin will stretch around the entire weapon granting an additional five or six inches of length in addition to added chakra damage.
At any point during the duration of this technique, the user is able to cast off the chakra skin like a projectile slash.
• Lasts [4] posts.

S t a g e F i v e [5]
Kazetetsu [ Iron Wind ]
Simple :: Rank A
It may seem trivial, but the accurate flinging of a massive weapon is actually a difficult method to master. Though, with enough training such a feat can be achieved, and the practitioner will be able to toss their weapon with incredible precision and force.

Danzetsu no Konki [ Break Off Of Energy ]
Complex :: Rank A
By infusing chakra to their weapon, the user will create a skin of their respective chakra color which wraps around and reinforces in its entirety. With this modified blade, the user is able to cut through one projectile ninjutsu of any rank.
• Can only be used twice per battle.

Danzetsu Hei [ Break Off Wall ]
Complex :: Rank A
Mimicking [ Danzetsu no Konki ], the user will wrap a skin around their weapon. However, rather than attempt to slice through an incoming attack, they will slam their weapon to the ground; creating a breaking point for the oncoming technique.
• Learned when [ Danzetsu no Konki ] is learned.
• Can only be used twice per battle.

S t a g e F i v e [5]
Oufuu [ Cross Wind ]
Simple :: Rank S
The practitioner swings their weapon in an odd twisting pattern, and at such an alarming speed that it disturbs the air around it; sending out a wide burst of wind to peel enemies from their sturdy footing. The cut in air's continuity also reduces or utterly breaks attacks that depend on the air to be in solid form.

Tetsu Jiten [ Iron Spin ]
Simple :: Rank S
While keeping their center of gravity low, the user performs a chain of horizontal swings while on their heels. This continual motion results in the user resembling a massive and mobile spinning top of death.
It should be noted that after excessive usage (3-5 posts), the user will be dizzied nearly as long as they were performing the attack.

Tetsu Kawase [ Iron Exchange ]
Complex :: Rank S
When faced with a projectile ninjutsu attack, the user will slam their blade into the ground. Feeding it a quick burst of chakra, the user causes the weapon to "catch" the incoming attack. With a quick kick to the still lodged weapon, the user is able to launch the caught technique to their desired target.
• Can only be used once per battle.

Nigiri no Oni [ Ogre's Grip ]
Attribute
Through their rigorous endeavors with their mighty weapon, the practitioner has developed powerful and toned muscles- mainly on the arms. Because of this impressive development, the user needs only a single hand to wield their massive weapon.
• Obtained when all other techniques are learned.

Tetsu no Ryu
The heart and steel of a true samurai

Description:
Meaning "Iron Dragon," Tetsu no Ryu is an ancient form of swordsmanship closely tied with Feudal warplay.
Born from the Land of Iron are the feared samurai who live there; training countless days and nights to develop a form of swordplay that mirrored their own ferocity. This style has it roots deepened in tradition, discipline, and hard work. It is geared for war, not stealth, and its vast amount of straightforward attacks are self-evident of this. Many of its techniques shine during duels, though they can be applicable most anywhere. Those who practice Tetsu no Ryu are bound to follow the code of Bushido.
The virtues of a Bushi are: Rectitude (義, gi) ○ Courage (勇, yuu) ○ Benevolence (仁, jin) ○ Respect (礼, rei) ○ Honesty (誠, makoto) ○ Honor (誉, yo) ○ Loyalty (忠, chuu)

Notes:
• Students of this style are honor bound to follow the tenets of Bushido ( listed above. )
• If a student of this style breaks the tenets of Bushido while actively utilizing this style, their attacks will lack conviction.
( Every attack hits as if it were one rank lower, and complex attacks consume [25] additional chakra. This does not count against your other styles/abilities. )

S t a g e O n e [1]
Iaidō
Simple :: Rank E
With a single unhindered and swift motion, a true samurai can unsheathe his weapon and strike at the exact same time. This can provide an elegant, yet effective way to catch your opponent off guard, or as a means to interrupt handsigns. Note that this ability only shows true effectiveness upon the drawing of a weapon from its sheathe. Losing some of its element of surprise after being used once and then resheathed. ( This attack's rank mimics whatever stage of Tetsu no Ryu you are in. For example, if you are in Stage 5, this technique is considered rank A. )

A Decade of Peace
Simple :: Rank E
A Decade of Peace is at its core a defensive technique, envisioned in the mind that a true master of the sword need not use his prowess to find peace. This technique allows the user to find, through concentration, the point of their enemy’s own attack, diverting it with a quick stab of their blade below their weapon or limbs, then utilizing the flat of the blade diverts the attack overhead, while their free palm presses against the opponents chest, shoving them away, before sheathing your own blade in the gap provided. This technique can be easily paired with a number of jutsu to escape battle, or as bait to enrage your opponent.

Ryūtsuisen [ Dragon Hammer Strike ]
Simple :: Rank E
The "Dragon Hammer" is a sword-drop technique delivered from above, targeting the crown of the head or the shoulder of the adversary. The key to the technique lays in the momentum gained from the user’s jump and the free-fall, which is applied to the sword to multiply the force of the sword-stroke.

S t a g e T w o [2]
Ryūtsuisen: Zan [ Dragon Hammer Strike: Tragedy ]
Simple :: Rank D
A brutal variation of the origin, Zan utilizes a sword impalement or plant, rather than a cross body strike. While this vastly increases the lethality of the move on a general basis it does allow for non-lethal takedowns without using the blunt end of the weapon, as a skilled practitioner can target a specific limb or location to assault.

Turning Swallow Cut
Complex :: Rank D
Utilizing chaka to stimulate the nervous system, this cut is reputedly so quick and precise that it can strike down a bird in mid-flight. It is a downward strike the flicked back up into an upward strike, both strong enough to effortlessly slice through even the hardest wood.

Chakra Scabbard
Complex :: Rank D
After mastering two techniques, Iaido and any one other, a student is capable of awakening the true signature of the Tetsu no Ryu. A Samurai's blade becomes rife with pure chakra that crackles and dances around the blade. A blade properly focused is quite capable of cutting through even the thickest steel.
• Active until battle ends or turned off.
• Increases to Rank C after learning [ Form Manipulation. ]
• Increases to Rank B after learning [ Two As One. ]
• Chakra cost DOES increase as rank increases.

Twin Dragon Strike
Simple :: Rank D
Utilizing Iaido, the student of Tetsu no Ryu then follows up with a strike from his scabbard, utilizing the whole of his weapon, instead of just a single piece. This technique is generally utilized to catch an opponent unaware if they dodge the first stroke of the bladed weapon.

Twin Dragon Strike: Lightning
Simple :: Rank D
This technique does not rely on the utilization of Iaido, as it first strikes with the scabbard of the weapon, using the shock effect of being attacked with an improvised weapon, or the opening that follows an opponent’s dodge to follow the initial strike up with the actual bladed weapon.

S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Form Manipulation
Complex :: Rank C
Truly skilled practitioners learn to shape the chakra around their weapon into different shapes. From a lance to a broadsword, anything is possible. However, while anything may be possible some forms will of course be difficult to maintain, requiring extra chakra expenditure. For every dimensional five feet after the first, the jutsu will require an extra ten [10] chakra.
• Lasts [10] posts

Pressure Wave
Complex :: Rank C
When swinging your weapon, you can create a crescent shaped chakra wave, five feet wide by one foot long, that can travel up to about 100ft before dissipating. A hit from it can be as strong or possibly even stronger than a normal blow. Unfortunately- it leaves your katana without a chakra scabbard and you must activate it again.
• Max distance: 100ft.
• Cannot be reused for a minimum of five [5] posts until Stage Three is mastered.
• Can be reused in three [3] posts at Stage Four.
• Can be reused in two [2] posts at Stage Five+.

Drying Pole
Complex :: Rank C
The user extends the tip of their blade with chakra as they thrust. Like a beam of energy, the strike can stretch several extra feet.
• Max distance: 8ft.

S t a g e F o u r [4]
Hachiware [ Helmet Breaker ]
Complex :: Rank B
This overhead blow is designed to go THROUGH a person, horse, and armor, all in one blow, by utilizing one’s chakra to actively sharpen the blade of your weapon. However, this fine point chakra manipulation creates crevices in the blade of your weapon, effectively making it useless after the fact, as any parrying blow would cause the rigid workings of the blade to crack entirely.
• This technique breaks most normal weapons.
• This technique can be blocked by an equal level bukijutsu or broken by Kai.
• This technique can only ‘kill’ if the opponent is willing, otherwise it merely wounds/incapacitates if not blocked.

Two As One
Complex :: Rank B
You are actually able to make two blows at once. A normal sword blow and a chakra saber blow. This second blow is almost impossible to see coming, but can be blocked by a chakra force of the same rank as it disrupts the chakra scabbard’s free movement.

S t a g e F i v e [5]
Many as One
Complex :: Rank A
A complex pattern of blows converge on the target. You may make five [5] blows with the chakra sabers and one with your real sword. All the attacks are real, and they can all pierce your opponent's sword if they are foolish enough to normally block you!

Divine Scabbard
Complex :: Rank A
In place of your chakra scabbard you are able to substitute pure chakra for whatever element you have an affinity for.
• Same notes as [ Chakra Scabbard. ]

S t a g e S i x [6]
Kamikaze [ Divine Wind ]
Complex :: Rank S
By utilizing a Divine Scabbard as a base, the user prepares (2 posts) additional elemental chakra before performing a powerful stab. This combination of chakra and motion forces a powerful "beam" to be released from the sword. The immediate release of the beam causes a good amount of recoil to the user, often forcing them to a knee. The beam itself has impressive distance, often dispersed only out of sight, or when contact is made with an incredible chakra based defense. The impact of the beam is so devastating that it is often referred to simply as an "undeniable death sentence." Additionally, because the beam is formed of such specific combinations of chakra, it can easily pierce most anything, and prevents the usage of "escape" techniques (substitution and body flicker.)
• Does not receive learning reductions.
• Consumes one [ Divine Scabbard. ]
• Can only be used once per battle.
• Requires two [2] posts of preparation. ( Can move, but cannot be interrupted. )
• User receives crippling recoil without additional training.

Serene Absorption
Attribute
After mastering and being victim to one's own Kamikaze recoil, the practitioner will begin to develop a method to prevent such return damage. Manipulating their stance and force impact, the user attempts to divert such force by pressing and moving chakra into the ground. This is a rather difficult task to accomplish as it is not simply the act of moving chakra from one part of the body to another, but completely pressing it out of the body without having destructive results. Because of this odd requirement, it is recommended that multiple sessions be completed before one is considered having "mastered" this method.
• Does not receive learning reductions.
• Must use Kamikaze at least three [3] times before beginning this training.
• Requires two separate sessions of ten [10] posts to learn. ( At least two day's break between sessions. )
• Almost completely reduces recoil of [ Kamikaze. ]

Juurai Toorima
The blade hidden in the night

Description:
Before the nations filled with shinobi, before the feudal lords reigned, before anyone knew what lurked in the shadows, there were ninja. Reliant on their stealth, skill, and their sword, these ninja knew not the exact workings of their vast chakra networks, but they knew very well how to complete their missions.
More than just assassins, the ninja of old committed acts of espionage, sabotage, and infiltration. They developed methods to break through or sneak passed obstacles or opponents in order to achieve their main goal. Nothing could stand in the way of a true ninja.
These methods were at one point in time chronicled so that future generations would be able to learn their techniques. Although dwindled by time, the list below shows what those passed ninja were capable of.

Notes:
• Smoke pellets used blur chakra singularity, making the network difficult to follow.
• The smoke that comes from the smoke pellets is badly affected by the wind.
• The smoke that comes from the smoke pellets can be any color.

S t a g e O n e [1]
Tabi Koutai [ Tabi Shift ]
Simple :: Rank E
An extremely simple yet vital technique in any ninja’s arsenal. Mastery of this action allows the user to make pin point shift and drift movements.

S t a g e T w o [2]
Endan no Jutsu [ Smoke Bomb Technique ]
Simple :: Rank D
One of the major staples of [ Juurai Toorima ].
The user will begin by drawing a smoke pellet from his person. He will then bring the pellet to his hand, typically between the fingers, and then slam it against a solid surface. The pellet will burst into a decent sized smokescreen, during which the ninja will attack or retreat.

Aseru [ To Fade ]
Complex :: Rank D
The user will bring a smoke pellet to each hand, twirl them to an easily thrown position, and then slam the two against the surface beneath them. As the smokescreen rises, they will perform a solid handsign, sending a quick surge of chakra throughout their body. In almost an instant, the user will escape any dangerous situation. To simplify, this is like a substitution jutsu that requires a smokescreen rather than an object to change positions with.
• Can only be used four [4] times per battle.

S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Insen [ Hidden Line ]
Simple :: Rank C
The user will attach a very, very thing wire to a projectile or small object, and toss said projectile as if it were a normal tool. However, they will likely intentionally miss, most likely causing the opponent to scoff or laugh. At any moment during the projectile’s flight, the user will give a light tug on the wire, causing its trajectory to change.

Juu Kousen no Hitojichi [ Hostage of Ten Steel Wires ]
Complex :: Rank C
The user will throw both of his hands forward; projecting a net of razor steel wires roughly the same width as the user’s body. The user will pump chakra into the wires in order to cause them to wrap around and tie those within the net’s reach. The wire is sharp enough to pierce deep into flesh, but not cut through bone.
• Max range 20 yards.

Takoage no Waza [ Art of Kite Flying ]
Complex :: Rank C
The user will draw a special piece of fabric from their person, placing it between their index and middle fingers. With an infusion of chakra, the fabric will grow in size, becoming the height and width of the original user. After doing so, the user will then grab onto each corner with his hands and feet, outstretching the cloth. Regardless of the user’s weight, this cloth can be used to glide over massive gaps and escape Earthy effects.
It should be noted that if the user has Fuuton [ Wind ] elemental chakra, they are able to free fly using this cloth.

S t a g e F o u r [4]
Biransei Endan no Jutsu [ Poisonous Smoke Bomb Technique ]
Simple :: Rank B
A different, far more lethal, variety of smoke pellet.
These smoke pellets release a thick purple cloud that causes various bodily effects if one is to inhale it for long consecutive periods.
• 1 Post :: Agitated eyes.
• 3 Posts :: Exhausted feeling.
• 5 Posts :: Unconscious.
• 7 Posts :: Death.

Funkei no Jutsu [ Decapitation Technique ]
Simple :: Rank B
The user will begin by blurring his current position in any way possible, be it by the use of his smoke pellets, or manipulation of the terrain. He will then follow up by tossing multiple smoke pellets at his opponent, in order to disorient them. After this, the user will seemingly disappear, abusing their physical potential to get behind their target. From this position, the user will draw his weapon, and attempt to deliver the final blow.

Zanzou no Jutsu [ Afterimage Technique ]
Complex :: Rank B
Just as the name would suggest, this technique causes the user to release a good amount of afterimages whenever a quick motion is performed.
• Lasts [5] posts.

Gisou no Waza [ Art of Camouflage ]
Complex :: Rank B
The user will begin by drawing a trio of smoke pellets from his person, and tossing them against the ground. As the smokescreen rises, the user performs a string of handsigns and allows his chakra to lie dormant. As the smokescreen dissipates, the user will have seemingly faded. His chakra signature, and his very being seemingly gone in a poof of smoke. For a short amount of time, the user is free to move in an active camouflage style of stealth.
• Lasts [3] posts.

S t a g e F i v e [5]
Yogiri no Gufuu [ Tornado of the Night Fog ]
Simple :: Rank A
The user will release black smoke bombs to surround his position, blurring his starting point. He will then rotate wildly on a single foot, causing the black smokescreen to circle around him in a whirlwind pattern. While wrapped in the twisting smoke and wind, the user will attempt to ram a target, hitting them with their body and any weapons they may have protruding from them.
It should be noted that if the user has Fuuton [ Wind ] elemental chakra, this technique is [ Complex ] and the damage is increased a good amount.

Izumi Hanshoku Meimu [ Fountain Multiply Illusion ]
Complex :: Rank A
The user holds a single handsign, generating focus points all over his body. After doing so, the user is capable of emitting up to six projections of himself from these focus points at any given time. These images are capable of mimicking one non-offensive action from the user, such as dodging or jumping, making them appear to be much more physical than they are. It should also be noted that these images can phase through solid objects.

S t a g e S i x [6]
Ken Ato Ken [ Blade After Blade ]
Complex :: Rank S
The user takes his weapon from its holster, holds it close to him, focuses his mind, and then performs a chain of long, yet linked slashes and stabs. In other words, this is a technique that causes the user to enter a free style combination mode, allowing him to execute perfectly connected attack after attack after attack. If an enemy somehow manages to consistently block the user's attacks, the match will typically then be determined by whoever runs out of stamina or makes the first mistake.

Mokuhi [ Keep Silent ]
Attribute
The ninja has come to realize the fruits of his efforts. His training has finally paid off, and whether he realizes it or not, his footsteps no longer make noise, no matter what surface he walks on. However, running still makes a very, very light patter.
• Obtained when all techniques are learned.

Honshi Art
Death from afar

Description:
For hundreds of years people have been using all sorts of weapons to gain the upper hand on their opponent, however, every generation one weapon seems to stick out like a sore thumb. At one point in history, the ability to attack an opponent from afar meant certain victory; the weapons that would perform this tasks would sometime later be known as projectiles.
It may seem simple, aim and toss, but the ability to use these methods while in combat, and with extreme precision is in fact extremely complicated.
These projectile weapons would eventually be utilized by shinobi, modified with their own special abilities and unique contribution of chakra, making them ever more deadly.

Notes:
• Projectiles used must be of light or medium weight.

S t a g e O n e [1]
Dart
Simple :: Rank E
Although it seems somewhat idiotic, this technique can prove useful in a pinch. The user will take their projectile, hold it in a different position than normal, and let it loose as though it were thrown with normal focus and aim.

S t a g e T w o [2]
Pair
Simple :: Rank D
The user will begin by placing two of their projectiles between their fingers, then wave their hand outward, releasing their grip on both; ultimately resulting in a trick shot with their normal focus and aim.

Three of a Kind
Simple :: Rank D
The user will begin by placing three of their projectiles between their fingers, they will then swing their arm outward, releasing their grip on the weaponry. The result is a triple shot with the user's normal focus and aim.

Twin Aces
Complex :: Rank D
The user will begin by placing two of their projectiles between their fingers, followed by a quick insertion of chakra to their hand. They will then wave out their hand, releasing their grip on both projectiles, resulting in a trick shot with their normal focus and aim, additionally, the injected chakra will wrap the flung projectiles, increasing their speed.

Calling Cord
Complex :: Rank D
Very similar to the shinobi method of puppet control, this technique is performed by attaching lines of chakra to up to five projectiles and then releasing and retracting them. However, unlike the puppet strings, these lines of chakra can be cut, and are not very maneuverable.

S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Trick Full House
Complex :: Rank C
The user will begin by placing four of their projectiles between their fingers, and a single in their grip, they will follow by encrusting their hand with chakra, and then place it to their forehead as they gather focus. At the users discretion, the projectiles will be flung with increased focus and aim, upon impact with any surface, all five projectiles will erupt causing a yard diameter explosion and moderate damage.

Retracting Line
Complex :: Rank C
An addition to the technique [ Calling Cord ].
By forcing an additional surge of chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to briefly control the length, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for a much more diverse angle of attacking or retracting.

S t a g e F o u r [4]
Manipulating Line
Complex :: Rank B
An addition to the technique [ Calling Cord ].
By laying a good amount of additional chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to fully control the length, direction, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for incredibly diverse attacks from all angles.

Hidden Stash
Complex :: Rank B
A special technique favored by shinobi who often use their weaponry in barrage formations. After bringing out a small scroll, the user will perform the needed handsigns, then press one hand against the open paper. The user's hand will seep through the paper as if it were water, then retract with the desired amount of projectiles. Because the user must continue to reach into the scroll, this technique is typically only used when they are completely out of ammunition.
Additionally- each scroll contains only 20 kunai, 25 shuriken, and 30 senbon.
• Can only activate one scroll per battle.
• Scroll only works one way (Can only draw projectiles from it, you cannot place more inside of it).

» Scroll Projection
Complex :: Rank D
A rather useful technique that can only be performed after releasing the effects of [ Hidden Stash].
The user will turn the scroll so that the draw point is facing their target, they will then press their palm against the back of the paper and surge chakra through their flattened hand. As the chakra moves through their hand, the user will cause the projectile contents of the scroll to fly out in the aimed direction.
• Obtained when [ Hidden Stash ] is learned.

S t a g e F i v e [5]
Bent Arsenal
Simple :: Rank A
The user will begin by drawing the desired amount of projectiles into their hand. They will then skillfully toss each projectile, one-by-one, at their target. However, there is a twist... a literal one! Each projectile is flung in such a way that they will arch at a certain point, causing most shinobi to evade right into the projectile's path.

Secret Stash
Complex :: Rank A
This is nothing more than an addition to the technique [ Hidden Stash ].
Instead of only being able to use one scroll per battle, the practitioner can now use three.

S t a g e S i x [6]
Explosive Arsenal
Complex :: Rank S
The user will begin by drawing a projectile into their hand, they will then inject it with a good amount of chakra. At the whim of the user, they will fling the weapon at an incredible speed- the projectile itself leaving an afterimage trail.
At any point during its travel, the user can snap, causing the enhanced projectile to explode. A five yard radial blast, dealing roughly the same damage as a [ B Rank ] fireball Ninjutsu.
• Rather than costing [160] chakra to perform, each projectile enhanced costs [30] chakra.

Seven Sword Dance
Untouchable barrier of blades

Description:
The seven sword dance is hailed as one of the most difficult styles to master, however it rewards those who serve it with unpredictable movements, unique angles of attack, and a means to an end (whatever that may be for the individual). The user places seven swords on his or her body and uses them to attack in a seemingly erratic pattern that more closely resembles juggling than swordplay. Integrated with savage short range unarmed strikes, the style can attack from several angles at once making it rather hard to effectively block a master. The style utilizes a series of kata to ease the beginner into it, though those unable to keep up will soon find themselves injured.

Rules N' Restrictions:
• Requires minimum of seven katana (Or other swords. IE; Tanto, Wakizashi, Etc)
• Those seven swords must be of light or medium weight (Unless stated otherwise)

S t a g e O n e [1]
○ "The Hook"
Simple :: E-Rank
Description:
• While in the seven sword stance, the user simply spins defensibly to clear the immediate area of attackers. Anyone stupid enough to stand in the short range of the blades will get a scar (or seven!) to remember!

S t a g e T w o [2]
○ Sword Rain
Simple :: D-Rank
Description:
• A quick spin can unsheathe all seven swords at once, raining them down on your opponent! This can also be used to toss a stream of swords at your target.

S t a g e T h r e e [3]
○ Bee Sting
Simple :: C-Rank
Description:
• Unleashing two or more of your blades into an "X" shape, you are able to slam a third into them- cutting an opponent many times.

○ Seven Sword Dance
Simple :: C-Rank
Description:
• A continuous dance of pain as the user is now skilled enough to juggle swords while he fights.

○ Vibrating Sword
Complex :: C-Rank
Description:
• Charging a blade with lightning chakra causes it to vibrate at super sonic speeds, allowing it to cut through even metal.
• Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.

S t a g e F o u r [4]
○ Lightning Rod
Complex :: B-Rank
Description:
• Tossing a highly charged sword high into the air will redirect even the most dangerous lightning techniques to strike it. (However, don't stand beneath/near it!)
• No effect on techniques above Rank B.
• Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.

S t a g e F i v e [5]
○ Infinite Sword Dance
Simple :: A-Rank
Description:
• Littering the area with swords the users can pick up any seven at a time, allowing him to discard and even pick up the discarded swords. Tossing swords as the user plows threw the area tends to be the norm when using this technique.
• Requires 10 or more blades.

○ Butterfly Float
Simple :: A-Rank
Description:
• Nearing the mastery of your style you can attack with all of your seven blades at once continuously, leaving even the Sharingan unable to predict where you are attacking from. However, this technique requires intense focus. They say you need to be constantly be playing seven games of chess at once to effectively use this technique!

○ Thunder Dance
Simple / Complex :: A-Rank
Description:
• An unpredictable array of continuous blows rain down on your opponent with charged vibrating sword. (Seven Sword Dance + Vibrating Sword) Simple version is performed the same, but with non-elemental effects.
• Complex version Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.

S t a g e S i x [6]
○ Rain Dance
Complex :: S-Rank
Description:
• Following usage of the Infinite Sword Dance technique, the user charges all the blades laying on the ground with magnetic properties attracting to their opponent. This requires immense chakra but the result is almost always fatal for their target. (Thousands of blades attracted to the target!)
• Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.

Kyoukan Ya
The bolt which flies true.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
Kyoukan Ya happens to be one of the few existing arrow techniques utilized by the shinobi world, as it makes use of tricks and variability in its arts,
meant to take down its foes from a distance. Most practitioners of the Assassin's Arrow tend to be killers from the shadows.

N o t e s:

S t a g e O n e [1]
Simple Shot
Rank: E : : Simple
Description: What else does a rookie with a bow? Draw back and shoot! Be sure to hit that mark!

Quick Draw!
Rank: E : : Simple
Description: A technique used for showing off, more than it is used combat wise, as the user draws their arrow and fires it quickly, sacrificing most accuracy for speed.

Arc Bolt
Rank: E : : Complex
Description: The user utilizes their chakra to make their arrow turn once in the air gradually. This effect is immediate, and the arc will be noticed quite quickly.

S t a g e T w o [2]
Rapid Fire
Rank: D : : Simple
Description: Calling upon one's stamina, the user begins to build up from some basic skills, and draws their arrows with speed, firing them off. One after another. At this point in time, the user while quick, doesn't have the accuracy to make it work that great. Time to spray and pray, huh?

Sidewinder
Rank: D : : Complex
Description: A technique to defeat walls in the user's way, where they apply chakra to coerce a more fierce arc in the arrow to move around the side of the wall. While it isn't a guaranteed hit, it'll shock 'em out of cover!

Heaven's Spear
Rank: D : : Complex
Description: A technique which requires some time to work up in power, the user fires their arrow directly up into the sky. While this makes the user seem egotistical, they've imbued the arrow with a flexible chakra, which allows it to pick up an electrical charge as it rises and falls back to the earth. If the attack should work, the enemy will find themselves moving rather sluggish from the electrical discharge.
• Two posts of reduced mobility.
• Requires an additional post for the arrow to fall.

S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Fallen Bolt
Rank: C : : Simple
Description: The user draws their bow in all its simplicity and fires from a predetermined location and draws back the bow to a variety of locations, allowing one to strike the enemy nearer than one normally might. While weaker in power, it allows one to buy more time, as the enemy will believe the user is in a different location.

Trip Wire
Rank: C : : Simple
Description: Attaching a line to the user's arrow, they send their arrow flying into one location, and attach the other side of the line to a nearby anchor of some sort. The user may apply chakra to add additional effects such as shallow cuts, numbness or minor burns.
• Can be performed complex.
• Learned as if complex.

Rocket Bolt
Rank: C : : Complex
Description: The user applies their chakra to their arrow, and when it's sent off through the air, the chakra is used to provide extra thrust, because of this, there's little flexibility in its flight, but it's speed is doubled.

Cluster Training
Rank: C : : Training
Description: At this point in time, the user will practice firing multiple arrows at one time from their bow.
• Receives no reductions.

Bomb Arrow
Rank: C : : Training
Description: The user goes through a process prior to battle to create detonating arrows, by attaching an exploding note to the arrow carefully and camouflaging it to appear as a normal shaft yet. The enemy is in for a surprise when the user chooses to detonate the seemingly normal arrows for an explosion.
• Learned as if complex.

S t a g e F o u r [4]
Seekers
Rank: B : : Complex
Description: Applying chakra in a way to match the enemy's base chakra signatures, the seeker arrows are far more flexible in their movement, tracking the enemy much like a homing arrow. Depending on the arrow type, the enemy is in for quite a blitz.

Pincer Arrows
Rank: B : : Complex
Description: Utilizing two arrows, the user applies their chakra to the both of them, to have them arc in two different directions, attacking the enemy from two sides.

Restraint Shot
Rank: B : : Complex
Description: Drawing five arrows on one's bow, the user connects them in a seemingly simple way, so that they might appear loosely connected. Little does the enemy know, the truth is the arrows are connected in a more complicated way than they could have guessed, forming a net made of chakra to pin the enemy against a surface.
• Elemental chakra of all kinds may be applied for additional effects.

Venom Sting
Rank: B : : Training
Description: The user learns of the ways to create a poisonous arrow unique to the possessors of the Kyoukan Ya arts, which as it spreads will begin to slow the body's reactions, followed by delirium and finally unconsciousness. Not meant to kill, but rather provide an opening to it, it's easily countered by eisejutsu.
• Requires three posts for each stage of the poison to activate.
• Learned as if complex.

S t a g e F i v e [5]
Flick Draw
Rank: A : : Simple
Description: Building upon the basics of earlier techniques, the user remains seemingly casual. The user appears unable to fire their bow, not in hand, or at the ready. Not even an arrow in their hand. With blinding speed, the user proves they aren't as unable to fire as they seem, with an arrow launched in the surprise, it's hard to avoid!

Bore Bolt
Rank: A : : Simple
Description: The user learns to fire off an arrow with a surprising skill. The rotation of the arrow is increased, providing for extra piercing capabilities, able to pierce through stone with ease. With a certain chakra type, the user is capable of sending the arrow off with enough force to create a localized area of impact, symbolized in stone with a small "crater" an inch across.
• Learned as if complex.
• Requires fuuton chakra for complexity.

Cripple
Rank: A : : Complex
Description: The user applies chakra in a unique manner, as they fire the arrow. Sacrificing its usual piercing capabilities, the chakra will form a blunt head of sorts. As a result the arrow will make contact, but it will not pierce the flesh. Rather, the arrow itself will be crushed against the chakra, and the force will be transferred into the hit location, as if the enemy has been struck by hammer, leaving bruising at the least, and possible breakage at the most.

Sun Spot
Rank: A : : Complex
Description: The user harnesses their chakra into one localized spot, on the tip of their index finger, and when they fire their arrow, the chakra is released in a blinding burst to provide cover for the arrow, while it soars to strike the enemy.

Death Murmur
Rank: A : : Complex
Description: The user applies their chakra to the arrow they are firing, yet it appears as if the chakra isn't doing anything. Upon impact into the enemy, the user forms a ninja seal, and the chakra becomes active, creating barbs to keep the arrow head embedded into the enemy.
• Only three murmur arrows may be activated at any time.
• Barbs remain active for four posts.

S t a g e Six [6]
Slip Stream
Rank: S : : Simple
Description: The user draws two arrows, but only knocks one to fire off. The second of which is knocked and fired nearly immediately after the first. While not drawn with as much power, the absence of air provided by the first arrow allows for surprising acceleration in the second, creating a "one-two" shot, in a localized area. With true precision, the second will smash the first into the target, embedding the head and hindering use of the limb.

Shatter Shot
Rank: S : : Training
Description: A third type of arrow the user is taught in the Kyoukan Ya skills. The user is taught the method to inserting what is similar to an exploding note into the core of the arrow's shaft, and how to cut it to fly true yet. Beneath its head are narrow openings to the note, which will use the blood of the enemy to extinguish its detonating capabilities, if it has hit true. If not, the arrow will explode into shards, hitting the enemy with wooden shrapnel.
• Learned as if complex.
• Requires 30 chakra to activate the "fuse" of each arrow.

Nature Siphon
Rank: S : : Complex
Description: A technique which allows the user to create elemental arrows of sorts, depending on their chakra natures. What makes this technique most useful is the fact that it may take even advanced chakra natures, for additional effects.
• Requires 25 chakra per arrow for simple elements.
• Requires 40 chakra per arrow for advanced elements (hyouton, mokuton, etc.).

Essence Siphon
Rank: S : : Complex
Description: The user makes use of pre-stored materials, allowing for quick arrow creation mid-battle. Applying their chakra to the material, it becomes aggravated and applies its attributes to the arrow, making it appear a flawless and unmodified arrow. At this point, the user may make use of pre-mixed Kyoukan Ya poison, or even explosive notes to create arrows of varying effects.
• The user may apply two materials to an arrow through this method.
• Requires 20 chakra per material for an arrow.
