heart emorhconom esor keito-ninja Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad: And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee: Deut. 23:12-13 That's two verses silly goose! I was beginning to make up for all the days that were missed. Besides, you've gotta read it both to get the full humour of it. ^__^. Those Medieval guys ought to have followed the Bible instead of easing themselves out their windows. Might have gone a little or long way to warding off the black plague. EDIT sad At least Romans had it right. They had public toilets to keep covered everything which cameth from them)

Those days I missed I was on a mission trip and working a church camp. Not to mention I don't have a computer… it died. The short in the wire to the fan made it overheat. Also the Romans had public toilets. You would sit next to people as you used it. Not to mention that you would all share the same sponge on a stick that you would clean your rear with. Also that wouldn't have anything to do with Black Death because it was caused by flea bites.

Don't sweat it-- the important thing is that it gave me an excuse to post two verses. wink Romans had public toilets, but that was before Medieval Times-- the technology was lost and people reverted to throwing their stuff out the window... onto the streets.... Maybe it didn't help the Black Death along but I'm sure it was instrumental in spreading a lot of other kinds of disease... not to mention weakening immune systems, leaving people vulnerable to the Black Death. See what interesting conversations can be had from those verses most commonly overlooked? xd

But did I rememer the most important thing-- that is, in the medievl ages, did a lot of people just throw theiurine out the window into the streets. As the child I was, this one bit of info stood out to me more than any other, so if it is wrong I can only blame the texbook, not my own recolection.

The time periods you are speaking about they did several different things depending on what century you are actually thinking about.
