Danny patted the little demon on the head, like a kid playing with a puppy. "Yup, fire demon," she said, like it was painfully obvious.
Looking back at the demon situated near her, she said, "Why? Do you need something on fire?" Oh gosh that would be exciting. She just loved burning things.

TG continued to stare at her, and without missing a beat, he smiled. "Set me on fire."

Danny summoned a fireball in either hand, tossing it back and forth between the two like one would a maceball or a wad of paper. She was honestly more interested in playing with it than she was TG.
"Um, I'm not supposed to light school things on fire without permission from a teacher." She looked down awkwardly, clearly revealing that there had been an incident in the past.
Either way, she wasn't lighting him on fire.

"Aww. Do you listen to everything your elders tell you? How lame." He was visibly upset, but watched the ball of fire move back and forth. Warm. So warm. If he could keep her around, she could permanently keep the are around him nice and toasty. She'd be his walking furnace. His portable oven. His bombfire with legs and a rack!
"You wouldn't even warm me up a little bit?" He said, looking up to her with pleading eyes. "Can I at least hold it?" He asked, pointing to the ball of flames. Unlike Danny, TG had to concentrate very hard on his Fear to be able to create fire. It wasn't readily available for him anytime he wanted. Even then, it wasn't very big of a flame.

Danny frowned at TG. "No you can't hold fire," she whined, "This is my fire." Not to mention she wasn't even sure how she was supposed to pass it over. He wasn't a flame demon, so how was he supposed to hold the fire?
She was a mischievous one though. "Okay fine you can hold it. If you can reach it."
Then she proceeded to hold it just out of his reach.

Whatever points that Danny had in her favor were almost instantly erased at starting up a game of Keep Away. He hated this game. HE HATED THIS GAME! It was a game only highlighting that someone was taller than the other, and in these cases TG usually hit someone in the groan to make them drop. Danny was already on the ground.
There was no way he could get to it even if he stood on her shoulders, and all it would do is result in a lot of uncool flailing about. TG didn't flail about.
No.
Instead, he slid off the warmth that was Danny and dropped his arms down, looking for the purpose of show, very depressed. "I didn't know you were going to be so mean, Danny. Pickin on a little guy like me." Considering she had been so easy to confuse and not only took things at face value for truth, he could only assume she would be easy to guilt.

"Awwwwwwwwwww," she whined, picking TG up in a hug and squishing him right into her chest, "I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be mean oh gosh you're so cute I'm sorryyyyyy."

Hook. Line. Sinker.
TG was pressed into a warm, plush embrace, happily suffocating for a moment as Danny expressed her apologies. As she did, TG could only hold himself back from snickering, but inwardly, a sly ki - ki - ki of laughter was echoing through his mind.
Time to play it up.
Looking up, he made his massive eyes wide as he frowned at her, giving a large sniffle. It was easy to play the weak, cute, adorable imp when you were this small. Who said being short had it's disadvantages just didn't know how to use some of the highlights. "Then you won't do that again?" He asked, trying to keep her from further playing such games on him. In the meantime, he was being hugged in a very soft embrace. Oh Yeah. Danny so wanted him.

Danny thought it was sort of weird how he kept burying his face in her chest, but maybe it was just an imp thing. Maybe it was short person thing. Danny wouldn't know about either of those things, so she just continued hugging because hugs were great.
"Uhhh wait do what again?" she asked. What did he mean? Oh did he not want her to hug again?
"Oh gosh I'm sorry!" she said, detaching him and putting him back on the ground. "No more hugs sorry! I won't do it again I PROMISE." TG's Plan: backfired.

And then TG really WAS crushed, and DID flail. So much for being cool.
"NO! I like the hugs! That's not what I meant. I meant Keep Away. I like your hugs!!" He brought his claws to his head. NOOOO!!! HE WANTED TO BE PRESSED AGAINST HER WARM BOD MORE!!!! JACK IT ALL TO HECK!!!

Okay he liked hugs. Check. Oh no wait- he didn't mean that. Got it. What he ACTUALLY meant was keep away, even though he liked Danny's hugs. Okay, so the command was to keep away, but know that he liked hugs. Maybe hugs were harmful to him actually?
"You meant keep away?" Danny said with a frown, slightly confused. Well she actually rather liked TG, but if that's what he wanted ...
Danny walked across the room until she was literally on the opposite of the room, as far away from TG as possible. "Okay I think this is as far as I can go. Do you want me to go farther?"

TG just stood there, his left eye twitching before he placed his face in his claws. "This ghouls is crazy." He whispered to himself, before dropping his hands and looking back to her.
"NO! Keep Away is a game where you hold up something very high form a shorter person to try and make them jump for it. With the fire ball. It -" He let out a frustrated breath. "Can you just come back here?" What did he have to do? Explained EVERYTHING?
Was.....was there a downside to having a pretty ghoul around that was dumb as rocks?

Danny was conflicted to the tenth degree. Nevertheless she walked back over to where TG was and sat down on the ground next to him so she was on his level. Even sitting down she was still nearly as tall as him.
"Okay I don't get it. Do I stay here or come back. What are we keeping away?" she asked, trying to make heads or tails of it.

TG flopped to sit, only making him shorter, and took a breather. This had given him a headache. "Just....forget about it." Shouldn't be hard for her.
It's not good business to leave on a sour note.
TG looked over at the demon, noticing her confused expression. Sighing, he reached into his pockets and then held out both of his hands to her, both curled into fists. "Let's play a new game. I've put a piece of candy in my hands. Can you guess which one?"

GAMES. DANNY LOVED GAMES.
"Oooooh. Um. Ummm. This one!" She pointed to the right one and waited, bouncing slightly where she was sitting. Games were just great. GREAT.
