"Well, see, it is not just me, there must be a lot of female Pokemon who have been turned into people. I am sure there must be more guys around than just myself and the other Pokemon that your trainer has taken under their wing. Of course, I do not know for sure, I suppose we will just have to wait and see what happens. Oh and I could refrain from telling people what I am, but when they ask, I feel obliged to tell them. I suppose I am a very truthful person, for the most part, so if they ask, I feel like I have to answer them,"Eilam answered. Then he looked over to Dea, knowing she would be the best one to answer the question about what she did.

"Well, a Pokemon linguist is someone who can talk to Pokemon. I have a special knack for being able to understand the Pokemon speak of all different kinds of Pokemon. It might help that I am not a normal human, I suppose,"Dea replied.

"That's an understatement, Dea,"Eilam laughed, which earned him a stuck out tongue from his trainer.

"Sure there is!" Terpsichore agreed whole-heartedly, but had to pause to think about a logical explanation for such a phenomenon, "They, uhh... maybe it's just that more pokémon that have been transformed around here are girls. I'm sure there are other pokémon around the world that have had this happen to them, not just here. So, y'know... a coincidence! That's the word!" She nodded, satisfied, "Besides, I'm pretty sure the others have run into people I haven't, some of which were guys. I just, um... haven't asked." It was then that she thought that it might be a good idea to ask how someone's day went when they came back from wherever they tended to disappear from, although she was quite certain she'd rarely get a straight answer. Were there just more girl poké-humans out there?

Terp giggled at Eilam's explanation as to why he tended to tell others that he was an arceus, "Hmm, suppose you're right. It wouldn't really make sense to lie about it... or stall; that just might make them more curious! Well, honesty is a virtue, after all. Besides, you're a really nice person, so they should just buck up and see that for themselves!" Then again, Terp was also rather bad at understanding shyness, as she had always been a very outgoing pokémon.

The shroomish-girl turned to Dea, eyes turning wide, "So... so even if I hadn't changed, and could only talk how I used to talk... you could still understand me? Wow, that's amazing! I didn't think anyone but another pokémon can do that! Wait..." she frowned, studying the woman, "Are you a pokémon of some kind?"

"I must admit, I didn't really ask anyone I have met if they have met other guys like me. I suppose that would be a good thing to ask sometime, since I am sure there must be other guys. Oh and I am sure they will see how nice I am, once I let my own guard down around others. I have been trying to get used to being a kid, so I have been acting either really shy or kind of mean at times. I don't try to be, it is just that I am still not sure how all of this works,"Eilam admitted.

"Yes, if you were still in your Pokemon form, I would be able to understand what you say. No, I am not a Pokemon, been a human all of my life,"Dea assured.

"Yep, I saw her as a baby, when she used to crawl around. She was such a cute baby,"Eilam cooed.

"Hey, be nice,"Dea playfully pouted, giving her partner a dirty look.

Terpsichore nodded with a giggle, confirming, "Oh, there are, I just don't know if there are more girls out there like us than there are guys. I guess I always just assumed it had to be about even, but..." She shrugged, at a loss; really, it was quite strange! Studying Eilam as he spoke, she seemed a bit surprised, "Do you usually have your guard up? Do you have it up now?" She couldn't exactly tell, but if he did have raised defenses, he still seemed pretty amiable to her. Tapping two fingers to her chin in thought, she nodded in understanding. It was a reasonable explanation to mood swings, especially since Terpsichore knew very well that not everybody really wished -- or wanted to be -- more human. "Well, you acknowledge that you do that, and that's a start. That's... how it went, wasn't it? The next step should be trying to change that. I'm sure you'll do just fine; you seem rather bright to me!" she explained, half talking herself into pulling up memory for how one got around problems they faced, "If it makes you feel any better, you don't seem too shy or mean at all to me!"

The shroomish girl wasn't so sure about the explanation she was given about Dea being purely human, but she supposed there could be people out there with such well-developed skills, they could be almost inhuman. Truly, once she thought about it, it didn't seem like too much of a stretch. With a grin, she dropped the uncertainty, "That's amazing! I never met anyone who could do something like that!" She was a modern-day Snow White!

However, uncertainty came back with a vengeance, though this time it was colored differently. "When you say you saw her as a baby... do you mean in a photo?" the girl inquired. Was Eilam really that much older? Suppose it made sense if he was, but still... it was hard to imagine this child would have been, even if it was a secondary form!

"It is always possible that the Jirachi changed more female Pokemon than he did male Pokemon, but we may have only met a fraction of the Pokemon that were changed. I suppose we will just have to keep our eyes out before we make a final judgement on it. Yes, I have had my guard up, but I do not currently have it up. You actually caught me when my trainer and I were just relaxing, so I did not really have time to get defensive. Yes, I knew Dea when she was a baby, I am older than I look, you see. I was actually looking for purpose in my life when I stumbled upon Dea's family when she was a baby and have been with her ever since,"Eilam smiled.

"Remember, there are some humans with special gifts,"Dea added.

Terpsichore nodded, agreeing with Eilam's deductions about the situation. She sighed afterward, inputting, "Yeah, as much as I'd love to meet every one of them, I'm sure that's quite impossible. I will, however, definitely keep my eyes peeled! I need to learn as much as I can about the world out there, and all the colorful people that inhabit it!" Giving a firm nod at her judgment call, she pulled her eyelids upward, making them bigger in exaggeration. Lowering her arms again, Terp giggled, glad that she was able to catch the two of them without defenses raised -- she'd prefer to avoid conflict where possible. "Well, I'm glad that I could talk with the real you, in that case! Though... yeah, sorry about the interruption. I've been told I can pester a little much, talk too much, mimic too much... all that. So you just let me know if I bother at all, and I'll be more conscientious about it!" she explained, hands raised as though in surrender.

Hazel eyes scanned over the pale form of Eilam once again, as though she could somehow find any indications that he was older than he appeared despite knowing better. "Yeah, I suppose I knew that in general, but... because I'm not all that old, I never really put two-and-two together. Um... not that you're old or anything!" she elaborated, trying to pinpoint her thoughts more clearly. Terp grinned, "That's really cute! Was it some sort of premonition? Do you have any idea what sort of purpose was intended at all?"

Mulling it over, Terpsichore had to agree. While she didn't exactly know specific people with special abilities, she had traveled to a few towns enough to see some of the oddities in the human world. "You know... you're right," the shroomish girl concluded, "And even if I wasn't sure about it, why disbelieve something just because you had no past experience with it personally?" She beamed brightly; all of this was very interesting indeed!

"I know I speak for myself and Dea when I say we are quite eager to meet some of the other Poke kids that are around. I want to know how many different Pokemon have been changed and how they are adjusting to those changes. I also must find this Jirachi and get some answers about why they did this. That's what Dea and I have been trying to do, find the Jirachi that did all this. We have just been getting lucky with bumping into all of these Poke children while looking, Dea doing her job, and getting opportunities to rest. We have certainly been keeping ourselves busy lately. I am glad you got to met the real me too, since I have been trying to come out of my shell more lately. Thanks to some new friends I made just recently, I learned I am the same Pokemon, just in a different form. And don't worry, I know you didn't mean any harm by making it seem like I am old. My purpose was to become one of Dea's Pokemon and help her with assisting others. I was meant to be part of her family, "Eilam explained.

"That's true, you should try to keep an open mind, so you can better learn about the world around you,"Dea smiled.

While Terpsichore was all about letting Eilam go around and meet as many pokémon-turned-humans out there, she had to draw a line where she knew better. She lived with two others at the moment, one of which wouldn't be too thrilled about meeting anyone else while the other would have, but the latter also would have been a lot more dangerous to encounter. So instead, she thought she'd help out, "Well, personally I have met a total of five others that have turned into... this, two of which are on my 'team.' If that helps you out any." She smiled, indicating herself when speaking of 'this' and five fingers when she had mentioned the number. "You'd be the sixth one I've met like that. Hum... that's pretty amazing that it's been so many. I'm not sure exactly where they all live, either, so I don't know if it's a geographical phenomenon or what," she expanded, a bit amazed when the statistics of such a thing were calculated. Had it really been that many? She shrugged and continued with a nod, "Most of them seem pretty happy, or at least adjusting to life as a human fairly well. So... this is Jirachi's doing? Suppose that explains the stars, but I'm not sure why the pesky guy would start doing it in the first place... or where it got the ability to do so. Oh well... I'm not complaining! I've always wanted to be like this, though I'm sure some others would be a bit irritated by it. Actually, I'm positive some are unhappy."

She seemed a little saddened that Eilam and Dea were taking the brunt of solving this mystery on themselves, as it seemed like so much work to ask of anyone. Perhaps if there was nothing else they could preoccupy their time it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but Terpsichore was certain that there were things the two of them had to do alongside this whole mess. "Don't overwork yourselves while you're out there, okay? That won't do you or anyone else any good. Taking time out like this to just relax is a good idea when things get too stressful," she stated, worried. The way Eilam was so lax about it, though, kept Terpsichore from remaining too stuck on that emotion, and she gave a small smile. Him speaking about his friends was also uplifting to hear, "Aww, so you had some friends to help you out of that little dilemma, that's sweet! They seem like they really knew what they were talking about, too! I'd have to agree with them there."

She giggled, nodding her head, "Okay, good that there was no offense! Family, it really is such a nice concept, isn't it?" She was back to beaming now; she hadn't really known how great it was to have a family until more recently, as she had long since struck out on her own in her search to become a human. While there were plenty of frustrations and aggravations that came with the territory as well, at least the idiosyncrasies managed to balanced out. "Knowledge is a powerful thing!" the shroomish girl agreed.

Eilam looked thoughtful for a moment, trying to remember how many they had met so far. He counted on his fingers, picturing each of the kids they have met since this whole thing started.

"Let's see, we met two of the Poke kids when I was still fully a Pokemon, one of them likes to lick people, so be careful of her if you haven't met her. The two were very nice, though, so you shouldn't have too much trouble. Then we met a group of five, but they are all different parts of the same Pokemon. They were the friends I mentioned earlier, the ones who helped me see I needed to open up more. They were really nice and I did enjoy their company. So I suppose we have seen quite a few and probably will met more very soon. Also, do not worry, we will try not to overexert ourselves, at least if we can help it. I can imagine some of the people are not happy about the changes, but I am glad to hear some of them are adjusting to life as a human/Pokemon hybrid. Yes, Dea and I suspect it is Jirachi doing this, though we do not know exactly how or why. It is wonderful to have a family to rely on,"Eilam smiled.

"Yes, knowledge can be powerful and useful, if used in the right way,"Dea added.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 04, 2012 11:45 pm

Terpsichore blinked, wide-eyed in surprise as Eilam mentioned an acquaintance that liked to lick people in greeting. She was sure that she had met the same individual: after all, how many went around the place licking others? "Ooh, Sasha! I met her; I took it as her weird way of introducing herself," she mentioned with a furious giggle, "Haha, small world!" She wasn't sure who the other person was, though. When she had met the strange hybrid, she had actually been with two others, but she was pretty sure that Eilam must have met with one of them. The third one mentioned, Terpsichore hadn't a clue, "Parts of the same pokémon? How is that..?" It may have been easier to figure out had she been able to come up with a type of pokémon like that while sifting through the database in her head, but truth be told, she'd never actually ever seen an exeggcute! Nevertheless, she grinned, "You've got yourself a little cheering squad in them, then! That's great; I'm glad you were able to meet with such friendly individuals! I hope you are able to meet many more of them, but if you stay on this path, I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem. Who knows? You might even get along with the less-friendly ones!" Charisma could be a powerful leadership quality, and Eilam definitely had it.

She grinned, happy to hear that the two would be cautious about overdoing it on their search to figure out the mystery behind Jirachi's stars, "Glad to hear! I know things can come up, and it can be difficult to do at times." The shroomish nodded, frilled ears perking excitedly, "I'm glad as well! Sure, I wanted to be this way, but it'd be disappointing if others couldn't appreciate it. But people can be surprisingly adaptive, so even if they don't like it, I'm sure they can find a way to like it in the end." She wasn't aware that she was probably being a bit too single-minded and optimistic on the matter, clouded by her own personal preferences.

She cringed a little, "Do you have any idea how you might go about locating Jirachi? I mean, it's a legendary. You are, too, but I don't suspect one can just venture out and stumble upon you guys very easily." Terpsichore snickered at that, considering that's exactly what she had just done with the arceus-boy. The brunette turned to Dea, thinking maybe she might have an answer if she had done the research, "Any leads yet?"

Eilam let out a light laugh as he heard what Terpsichore said about Sasha and he laughed lightly.

"Yes, it did seem to be Sasha's way to greet people and I think to learn about them. Good to know Dea and I were not the only one that ran into her. As for the parts of the same Pokemon, they were an Exeggcute. That is a Pokemon that looks like a collection of eggs, "Eilam explained. Dea opened her Pokedex and looked for a picture of them, then handed it over to Eilam. Eilam took it gently, before her let Terpsichore the screen.

"See, they look exactly like this or at least as a full Pokemon it does. Yes, I love having people to help me, just as I like to help others. I do hope that I can make a difference in the lives of the ones who are less thrilled with the change. I do hope Dea and I can get more time to rest, but we shall see. For Jirachi, we are just working on following his tracks, so to speak,"Eilam replied.

"No, we do not have any leads quite yet, more of just finding more individuals like yourself. We hope if we can get closer the more Poke kids we can find,"Dea answered.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:13 pm

A grin spread across Terpsichore's face slowly at first, but Eilam's laugh had been contagious, and she quickly found herself joining in on it. "I'd hate to ask where that tongue had been!" she snickered, wondering how many pokémon had actually been on the wrong end of it. Once she had stopped laughing enough to think it over, Terpsichore had realized that she really hadn't any idea that such a pokémon like an exeggcute even existed, let alone ever seen one before. She wondered if her researcher of a trainer ever had heard of one, but it was more likely he had. "What a strange makeup for a pokémon; I'd not heard of that one! Maybe they don't normally live where I used to," she contemplated. The girl was definitely interested to find out more, but wasn't sure she'd ever get the chance! Luckily, she didn't need to stretch her imagination anywhere near it's limits, leaning in eagerly to get a peek at the screen. "Oh wow! And they all act like one pokémon?" she queried, astounded. It was really quite difficult to imagine what life like that would be like!

Terpsichore grinned, "Well if you like it, if you ever need help, I'd be happy to lend a hand! I do so much like seeing others smile." While she was confident in the statement, she really didn't think there would be much she could offer as aid: she wasn't strong, she wasn't extremely intelligent, there were things she often missed... but who knew? Maybe there was something she could find to help with. "What sort of things do you think you could do to help other pokémon like us, if they didn't take on the change into human as well?" she asked. True, just talking like this on a more even level could help ease other pokémon, surely, but she wasn't sure if they had any other plans up their sleeves.

Nodding, the shroomish understood that the task they had been thrust with must be a bit of a difficult one, especially in gathering the required information. "Must be hard to locate someone who can just float around the place. Doesn't help that people rarely even see it!" she agreed. As another thought struck her, her face turned more solemn, "Do you think... that Jirachi turned into something like this as well?" Honestly, she had just been imagining the pesky pokémon as just that, but if it had the power to change others into humanoid forms -- even the all-powerful Arceus -- could it do the same to itself?

Eilam smiled softly as he got the girl to laugh, glad to see that he had been able to help her laugh some more. He took the Pokedex from Terpsichore's and handed it back to Dea.

"You know, now that you mention it, I do not think I want to know where that tongue has been. Let's hope she brushes her tongue after every person she licks. As for the Exeggcute that we met, each part of it had its own personality. Most of them looked a little like dolls, only one of them had a full size like we are. I am sure we would appreciate any help you can provide us in the future, especially when it came from a friend,"Eilam told her kindly. He looked at Dea with the question of Jirachi changing into something like he was. Neither of them had even considered it, but it did make sense, now that they thought about it.

"We hadn't considered that idea, though it is quite possible he could look like you guys do. That might make it a little harder to track him down, considering he could probably blend in a little better,"Dea replied with a soft sigh.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:54 pm

Terpsichore found herself the victim of another bout of laughter at Eilam's thought on the matter of Sasha's lick, "Oh, I would give her the benefit of the doubt and say she does. No need to worry yourself over that!" She had to try to stifle her laughter with a hand over the mouth; it was starting to make her feel a bit guilty talking about someone like this behind their back, even if it was well-meaning and entertaining!

She took a deep breath to steady her breathing again, but her grin was still that of one cracked open by giggles. It refused to melt off, even when her voice toned itself to that of surprise and awe, "Little dolls? And they could still speak and move around like normal? That's so strange! It must have been fascinating! Are they all different, or do they share a personality, too?" Was their mind split up among one another, or did they just work like a team? The spotted mushroom girl beamed at the indication that she may be of some assistance in the future, wrapping her arms around one another comfortably, "Oh really? You think I could be helpful? Heehee, I'm glad to hear it! I was beginning to have my doubts at how helpful I could manage to be, even though I may be an eager one!" She really did feel fortunate to have been graced with such friendly individuals lately, it helped to brighten her outlook on the world. It seemed so rosy!

Her head nodded slowly again, hazel eyes panning from one of the pair to the other, "I hadn't either, actually. Until today, I figured that any legendaries were sort of 'off limits' to the stars' effects, because you guys are all so powerful compared to normal pokémon like me." Her eyebrows knitted together in a cross between though-provoked and worry, "You think it might be out of some revenge stint, or because Jirachi truly thinks that this is the better form for us to take?" And, really, what would a humanoid Jirachi even look like? Some of them seemed to blend in better with the humans, it was true. Terpsichore, for instance, was the most human-looking out of her little traveling group. She hated to put a damper on the search like this, but she was taken just as much off-guard by the prospect as the two of them had been.

Eilam's laughter joined that of the other and he was glad that they were getting along. He took a deep breath to get himself to calm down, listening at the other talked. He figured listening to her would allow him to calm down from his giggles, then when she stopped talking, he cleared his throat.

"Yes, I suppose we should give her the benefit of the doubt, since I am sure she would not want to hurt anyone. Yes, most of the group looked like little dolls that could function just like a human that size could do. They can walk, talk, play, and I believe they can eat too, though I am not totally sure. They seemed to need one another on some level, but for the most part, they were really their own people. They each had a distinct personality and had their own thoughts and feelings. Yes, I do think you could be helpful, since everyone can help in their own way. They may not always see what they can do, but they just have to believe,"Eilam explained.

"I would think there was some kind of marking that might tip us off as being a Jirachi. I mean, from what I have seen, most of you have some physical characteristic of your Pokemon form, such as Eilam having his tail and the crest on his face. At least now you know that Legendary Pokemon are not immune to this,"Dea spoke.
