Soren was completely oblivious to any of the bad feels that Taryn might have held for him. He was doing his job, she had offered to help...and peons did what peons were needed to do. All was well and good in his books. If he had looked back he probably would have at least taken one coil from her, as it was he was just looking for his next target. Maybe he could manage one last item.

His eyes fell on one last desk, just sitting there so lonely. Some student in years past had managed to scratch onto the surface "Stacey + Jaime 5evar!" while someone else had drawn an arrow to the name Jaime and written "sparkle princess." All of that was lost on Soren, would was simply getting the next item that he could get. Carrying them out to his small trove he stacked the desk and then set down the panes of glass on top of them before turning to Taryn, raising an eyebrow as she swaggered along. "Put the glass here and then I'll use a bit of cable to hold it all in place." Obviously Soren was not a regular player in the game of diplomacy.

"It could be dangerous for you out there," he stated, and carefully straightened the materials on the desks before reaching down for the end of the coil and beginning to wrap it all on. Once the glass and desks were secure, and the other coil was dumped into one garbage bin which was stacked into the second one, he was as ready to go as he would likely ever be.

It was a good thing that he was built. Really built. Because the garbage bins went in one hand he he was getting a good grip on the cables that lashed together his desks, determined to carry all five back at the same time. He did turn to face the ghoul one last time and gave her a slight nod of acknowledgement. "Good work today Taryn." No thank you, no offer of anything else. Just "good work." And then in a feat of strength he was off, muscles bulging though he was still dragging the desks along. They had glass on them, and he was not that much of a beast.
