 R i v e r w a l k e r RIVERCLAN WARRIORS
A slender orange tom wriggled from the den, and winced as the sun swept over his eyes. His hair was in a fray, twisted and turned, as if he'd been in
a fight most of the night. In truth, Riverwalker had been out on late patrols again, and had been to tired to groom himself by the time he returned to
camp. His tongue ran around his maw, which quickly turned into a quiet yawn. Where was Ashfall--- ah, the tom was enjoying a fish. Mistystar was
speaking with Dreampaw. Riverwalker took a moment to look at them, until his pelt began to flush. Starshine was padding around, possibly looking for
him. From the angle he sat, he could see the bulge in her stomach. His tail swatted the earth irritably and for a moment he just sat there. Uncertain of his
next move. Finally, he got to his paws and trotted toward her "Starshine." He greeted, the note in his voice flat and unappealing.

Ashfall took a glance at the orange pelted Riverwalker and followed his gaze
to starshine. The poor tom was irritable and flustered over the situation, but
The deputy was unsure how could ease tensions. Instead, he got to his paws
and padded toward leopardspots "Hey, I need you to get Hollowcrest and
meet me by the camp entrance. Were running the first border patrol." Ashfall
settled his strong gaze on leopardspots for only a moment, before he turned
and followed after Riverwalker, pausing beside the younger tom "Once your
done, gather whatever warriors wake up next and get out a hunting patrol."
Riverwalker muttered an 'okay' at him and then looked away. Ashfall shook
his head and padded toward the camp entrance, throwing out a 'hello' to
Dovefeather as he went.

Medicine Cat ApprenticexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxMentor: Dovefeather Dreampaw dipped her head respectfully to her mentor Dovefeather before she spotted the tom cat Riverwalker. She sighed a little as she looked back at the two she-cats. "I'll be right back." She mewed as she padded over towards Riverwalker. She dipped her head in respect to the deputy before she was nearly face to face with Riverwalker. She had noticed that he looked a bit ungroomed. She purred a little as she looked at her friend. "Hey furball." She joked to him. "You look like you've been fighting a whole family of Badgers." She said as she licked a part of his fur on his pelt back into place. "Would you like to come with me after hunting patrol to gather herbs?" She meowed as she looked at him once more.

Riverclan WarriorxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxApprentice: N/A Once the golden colored tom had finished grooming his fur. He spotted Ashfall padding up to him. He nodded to the deputy after he told him to get Hollowcrest. He got to his paws and stretched out his long lengthy legs for a split second before looking around camp. He spotted the tom with anothet queen, Willowwind. He padded over to them and dipped his head to the fluffy she-cat. "Morning Willowwind." He meowed coolly before looking at Hollowcrest. "Ashfall wants us to meet him by the camp entrance for border patrol." He meowed as he padded away towards the entrance of the camp to wait for Hollowcrest to join them.

Starshine looked over as she heard her name being called by a familiar,
though unwelcoming voice. She sat down, looking a bit ashamed as her
brother approached her. "Riverwalker... I..." she started, but sighed softly and
merely said, "Good morning," until he got close enough.
She knew by the look on his face that he knew about her pregnancy, so why
was it so hard to admit it to him? Maybe because she knew that he would be
disappointed in her not telling him sooner, or maybe it was because she did
not have a mate within the clan. Whatever it was, admitting to him that she
was bearing kits seemed harder and harder with each step he took towards her.
"Riverwalker... I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner..."

Hollowcrest nodded towards Willowwind as she walked over to him and
asked him how he was. He knew that she would be kitting any time now,
and while he did not like kits one bit, he did sympathize with her, for they
had both lost mates, and so he tolerated her presence and concern for him.
"As well as I can be, I suppose... how are you feeling? You look like you'll be
ready to burst any day now," he commented, allowing a half smile to flicker
onto his features, glad at least that she would have company soon with her
kits coming... as long as they were no where near him.
Children should be seen; not heard.
He looked up at Leopardspots and sighed softly as he rose to his
feet. "Suppose I've been called to patrol... see you around camp, Willowwind,
take care," he replied before he rolled his large shoulders back and padded
to the camp entrance towards Leopardspots and Ashfall. .¸.·´¯`·.¸¸☠¸¸.·´¯`·.¸.

 Willowwind nods her head. "I'm feeling okay I guess, its just hard with no one to talk to. I feel like I'm about to burst right now." She said to Hollowcrest in her soft voice. Something was on his mind but Willowwind decided it would be best not to ask him. Hearing another cat pad up behind her, Willowwind looks to see who it was. "Good morning Leopardspots." She meowed softly once again. Then she dips her head when Hollowcrest leaves to go on patrol. With nothing else to do, the pregnant queen pads back over to the nursery and lays down closing her eyes. The fluffy queen could only sigh to herself as she layed in the shade.

 xxxxxM i s t y s t a r The slender silver tabby smiled when Dreampaw comforted her by pressing her nose into Mistystar's fur. She put her tail around the medicine cat apprentice, thankful for the company of the gentle she-cat. She nodded when the medicine cat apprentice asked to speak to her, but her eyes betrayed her concern. She was also thankful for Starshine's reassuring words, and when Dovefeather woke up and greeted her, Mistystar smiled, knowing that even if she wasn't confident about herself, her Clanmates would still have her back. Mistystar's tail twitched uncomfortably when Riverwalker came out of the warrior's den, and noticed Starshine's pregnancy. It seemed like he was angry about it, and Starshine didn't seem to be much more comfortable about the situation, and Mistystar's ears flicked, awaiting Riverwalker's next move, and hoping she wouldn't have to interfere.

The toms gaze shifted over starshine, to Mistystar who sat a few tail lengths away, listening and waiting. Riverwalker stared at her, then snorted and
looked at his sister when she spoke up. So she was pregnant-- he hadn't been wrong. His skin prickled as he stared at the ground infront of him. Why
wouldn't she tell him something like this? He might've been able to pretend to be happy, but she seemed guilty and afraid, making it hard for him to feel
anything other than suspicion. His tail hit the ground hard "Why didn't you say anything? Were suppose to be siblings? Your the last part of my family I
have and you didn't even tell me something like this?"
He sighed and felt his skin getting hot, leading into his anger. When Dreampaw padded over, he forced himself to calm and take a breath. He was
going to be an uncle-- that was good news, right? he hung his head for a second and then looked up at her "Congratulations."
much to his own surprise, he sounded sincere. He gave her an affection head but to the shoulder and rubbed his pelt along hers "I'm sorry I got mad.
Just, please no more secrets. I can't handle that from you."
Riverwalker stared at her long and hard, before he looked at Dreampaw "I'd be glad to help, I need to hunt anyway."

Ashfall watched Riverwalker only a moment, before the two clanmates he'd
hoped to see padded to his waiting spot, by the entrance. He dipped his snout
to both of them, then stood and turned on his paws "We can head toward the
Thunderclan border first." he meowed, his voice deep and strong.
Before he padded out, he noticed Riverwalker and Dreampaw preparing to
leave. It wasn't exactly a hunting patrol, but he didn't feel like he needed to
step in between them. Dreampaw was young and it was okay to ask for help
from older warriors.

Starshine knew that Riverwalker would be angry with her, but she didn't quite
anticipate his outburst at her, and while he spoke her ears went back in
discomfort. She dipped her head in apology and shame as he chastised her.
The orange and white she-cat looked up as her brother offered her
congratulations and comforted her as he apologized.
Starshine nuzzled against his pelt, glad that he forgave her and seemed
happy for her... for now. She would have to introduce him to the father of her
kits sooner or later, and she would prefer that it would be either soon, or after
the birthing so that she would still be able to move easily.
"No more secrets..." she promised him softly and licked his pelt
affectionately before she let him go, and went back near the warriors den to
sun herself a bit.

Hollowcrest greeted Ashfall curtly before he supposed he should follow the
other tom out on patrol. It was nice to have something to do, and while the
weather was getting nicer he supposed that he may as well try to enjoy it; he
wouldn't really, but he could always try in vain.
"Sounds like a plan," he replied to Ashfall before he started walking after him.
He noted that Starshine and Riverwalker seemed to have tension between
them, but he really couldn't care less at the moment. If he paid attention
enough to know that she was with kits, he may have approached her and
warned her and those future noisy kits to stay away from him, but he was
unaware, and so remained oblivious.

He shouldn't blame his sister for not telling him, she was scared. She sighed a little as she got to her paws. She looked at Mistystar. "I'll be back in a little." She looked at her leader hoping she'd understand. Riverwalker was one of her closest friends and she wanted to keep the tom's mind off of his sister being pregnant. She looked at the tom cat before she padded to the entrance. "Lets check near the falls." She meowed as she padded out of camp.

xxxxxxxxxxd o v e f e a t h e r The pretty she-cat watched most of the cats in camp as they left, frowning sadly. Even Dreampaw had left. Without inviting Doefeather along. A pang of loneliness stabbed the medicine cat's heart. She dipped her head respectfully to Mistystar before turning and padding back into her den. Venturing to th back, she found their supplies to be low. They'd need to stock back up since leaf-bare hadn't given much to work with. The she-cat sat down and began to sort through the herbs, noting silently that many of their remedies were dried up and worthless.
