Continuing to breath Mitsu nodding trying to focus on her breathing and the sound of her reaper's guitar. It helped a little being able to focus on the sound of his guitar instead of the voices but the feelings of doubt were still there.

Eyes still closed she grabbed a fist full of fabric over her heart, clutching the material as she continued to breath. Breath in, breath out.

The harder she tried to focus on the music or Shun's voice the louder the whispers became. She couldn't do anything it seemed, not even sit and be still and think about nothing. Useless, that's what she was. She kept trying to, only because Shun asked. It seemed so soon to really give up but the thought of success was waning quickly.

"S..Shun," She didn't say anything else, but the wavering tone said she was having a hard time with this.

"I..I'll try once more," Mitsu said softly, closing her eyes tight and lightly squeezing Shun's hands as she tried to calm down again and focus on her breathing. The whispers made what seemed like it would be an easy task so difficult. Once again Mitsu found herself hitting a wall. While the whispers were growing fainter doubt still lingered.

When she failed to get any further she sighed softly, one of her hands pulling free to rest against her head. "I'm sorry. I'm just...not very good at this."

Part of Mitsu found comfort in Shun's words, the other part wondered if he was just being nice and trying not to show his disappointment. With a light sigh she rested back into his hold, for now the whispers were dull and faint. At least it was something.

"I wonder if it will always be like this. W...what if I don't get better?" Mitsu asked, closing her eyes as she tried to relax. She didn't like the thought that she would always hear these soft voices she couldn't make out. It was unnerving and she wasn't certain if she would be able to get used to it or if it would just slowly send her into madness.

Mitsu didn't understand either but apparently it had already stuck with her and not with him. There was a possibility that Shun was right and this would all go away with time but there was also the possibility that she was stuck this way only destined to get worse. Would the whispers progress? Would she turn gray too?

It made her shiver and tense again. What if she ended up like Riley and Red? Nothing more than a statue. What would become of Shun? Would he grow tired and frustrated with her before then? Would he be upset or would he deem her unable to be saved with the only solution to her ailment being a swift death. Maybe it would be best not to say anything further. Maybe it would be best to pretend she was okay.

"Y-you're right....It wouldn't make since if you got better and I didn't." She tried to sound optimistic but it came out rather bland.

The question was so out of left field Mitsu managed to forget her current situation entirely. Had...Shun just asked if she wanted to go to the amusement park? Shun.....amusement park.

Shun.....amusement park.

......

Shun...............................amusement park?

She was still adjusting to the fact she had heard amusement park leave his lips. Her expression seemed to mirror her bafflement as she tilted her head back to look at him. Who was this reaper and what had he done with Shun? She was still dreaming....she knew it.

Before she decided to jump out the window to escape she decided to test what he had just said. "Y..you did just say...amusement park, right? With...rides and games and....fun?"

It would seem she wasn't dreaming. As Shun continued to explain she started to relax realizing it was still the same Shun trying his best to cheer her up with things he didn't quite understand. It was amusing in its own right watching him speak so matter of fact about fun and whether it did or did not exist at the park.

In fact, she started to smile, the hint of a giggle bubbling up before she was able to stifle it behind her hand. It was rather mean of her, she was kind of giggling at him and his obscure behavior but it was so endearing and cute at times and right now it was what she needed.

"Who knows maybe you'll figure out what fun is," She mused, her smile nearly touching her eyes.

Leaning back into him she relaxed then, her head nuzzling against his shoulder. "I've never actually been to an amusement park before. I've read about them. They have all sorts of games and prizes and in the books they always go and ride this giant feris wheel." Mitsu gestured with her hands to establish the enormity of the feris wheel before she let them drop at her sides. Unfortunately it would be the one thing she would never get to see if it was like the books. She would be too frightened to get on it.

"They always describe how wonderful it is when they are at the top. How they can see far off into the distance and find a sort of serenity in it." She wondered if it was truly like that, all she could think about was the sensation of being so high off the ground and frightened that she was going to fall.

"I don't know," Mitsu said reluctantly, looking a little disappointed in herself. "It seems so nice in the books but I know I would get scared." The the thought of seeing it all lit up was intriguing.

"I think there is lots of things to do, at least if the stories I have read are somewhat accurate." She smiled again when Shun admitted he didn't know what to do. "You do want you want to I suppose. I guess we'll find out but it might be fun if someone else went along."
