The names kept ringing in his head, along with their little ryhme, Rango...Dango....the Itsy Bitsy Genin, Fell down the water spout. In came the blood and brought the spirits out. Up came the sun, and scared the spooks away, And the itsy bitsy genin never woke again..... Their wispy forms, that never seemed to take any damage, and the way they fought was ruthless and brutal. He backed up a few steps, never taking his eyes off them.

Tsubaki Yuriko  Hp: 630 / 630 Cp: 609 / 660 MHp: 780 / 780Yuri popped back up out of the ground a few feet from Mizuiro and giggled when she looked at him. "Sharky-kun, you look like a swamp grass plant because of your spiky hair." she informed him matter of factually as she patted his head. At this point the Genin we basically done. She wasn't sure how much more the Fubuki could take but she knew that mental exhaustion would soon start to take effect and that his chances of escape would only decrease from there. While Mizuiro could escape fairly easily since she purposely went easy on him the boy should have started to realize that it was futile. Escape Artist DC: 16 [Exodus, give the Genjutsu Kai a try on your next turn and remember that penalties start at 50% MHp remaining]

 Mizuiro was not amused, and the pat on the head was not at all nice to him. He knew he was young, but being a Genin now, he wanted to be a bit more adult. The dirt was soft, and it cracked as he budged about, but there was so dirt around his ankle that was really hard, and it hurt to try and move it. He knew that even if he got his arms loose, his leg would still be stuck and would probably be broken up if he tried to yank it out, maybe even ripped off.
Mizuiro decided to just give up now, he already knew it was pointless to fight on, considering his sensei was far stronger, and seemed to be not be going easy on them. He thought about it, and knew it had got to be kind of sadistic playtime for her.

TABTMHp: 43/88❆ ╚════════╝ ❆Tenshi needed to do something fast. The ghosts were getting closer by the second, and he knew he was no match for them. They were moving faster and he needed to move... now... They lunged for him, but he jumped out of the way. Their evil cackle sent shivers down to the bone. He wasn't about to let them touch hi, even in the slightest bit. If he did, he was sure that even their touch was enough to kill him and send him into oblivion. He wasn't even going to test it out if he had to. He was so focused on the ghosts he didn't bother looking to see what Mizuiro was doing.
It didn't make sense though. They were going after just him, and the others weren't here either fighting them. Something was off... He checked his chakra flow until he found something interesting. THe chakra flow into his brain as being jumbled. He racked his mind for the answer and then he remembered the little book Bumu-sensei had given him to study genjutsu. He made the handseals necessary for the genjutsu kai, in order to reset his chakra flow. He finished the seals, but nothing happened the ghosts were still there. "Why don't you go away?" he said thinking aloud. He had an idea that he wasn't sure would work, but it was worth the try.

Tsubaki Yuriko Hp: 630 / 630 Cp: 609 / 660 MHp: 780 / 780Tsubaki leaned in close to Mizuiro and due to their height difference had to get down on her hands and knees to put her face right next to his. She knew at this range that all of his senses would be totally focused on her and in fact she was most likely completely filling them. "Are you going to spank me if I don't stop Sharky-kun?" she whispered into his ear; before drawing back and raising her right hand as if to punch him. She held her hand back for a moment and then released. As her fist came hurling towards his face, it stopped short. Then she simply flicked his forehead, "Don't take it so hard Hoshigaki-san, girls will find it cute." Tsubaki then stood up and walked over to Tenshi, she gently placed her hand on the side of his face. "Genjutsu... Kai" she whispered as she returned his chakra flow to normal. "It's okay Tenshi-san, you're safe now and the test is over." she told him before removing her hand and walking back over to Mizuiro. She then reached into the ground and pulled out Mizuiro. Both of you, have a seat."[Mizuiro -7Hp]

"Girls?" Mizuiro pondered for a second why he needed to care about girls, they were just some annoying noise maker he was sure. Did they have a another purpose that was good? And why would he spank his sensei? He was now a little confused.
Mizuiro needed a better explanation, but it seemed he will have to wait, because he was told to sit down, meaning she had something important to say. Though it might put him to sleep if she drags it on and on.53/60 Hp

His chakra flow returned to normal, though he felt shaky. The way she informed them to take a seat sounded like they were about to get a life-long lesson, either that, or a harsh talking to. Tenshi tried to calm his nerves and took a seat next to Mizuiro. He then noticed that Mizuiro also failed to get the bell, which didn't make his thoughts positive.

"You may or may not have noticed but on the outside of the charm it reads "Leave Luck to Heaven"." She held it out for them to see. She then opened the charm and produced a piece of paper. She held it toward them, "I'll grasp victory using nothing but my mind and heart." Tsubaki waited a moment for her words to sink in. She then brought herself to their level by sitting down as well. "Never leave anything to chance, know your strengths, and your limits, and never let your heart grow weary. If you do this, you won't need luck.""Now then, tell me what you've learned today."

Mizuiro though about the words for a while, they were interesting, but she was right, skills are above luck. He pondered what he did learn from their little fight, and realized something very important.
"Fighting someone far above your level of skill is a dumb idea." He nodded to himself, that did seem important to him.54/60 Hp

This was a lesson he knew he should remember for the rest of his life. The way she got down to their level and the tone of voice proved it further. He thought about the lesson he learned today. He smiled at Mizuiro's. It was definitely something they had learned today. Their sensei knew her stuff. He the spoke his lesson, "The mind can be just as powerful as the body, and just as weak. I will need to train it just the same." He could tell he had a lot of training ahead of him.

"Well then, I guess you both... pass!" She paused to let her words sink in, yes the charm had been a condition of the test but she didn't say that a person without the charm was a looser. "You both learned something important today and it showed me that you're still open to learning." she explained. "Yes, you're now genin but I wanted you to see that you're still small fish in a very big pond. So as genin you're still students, but, you will train outside of the classroom in both sessions created by me and on missions." She then stood up and motioned for them to follow. "I bet you're both pretty tired, let's go get something to eat. My treat."[Exit to Ramen Shop]

I guess she said to fight with the intent to kill or we'll fail, not that getting the charm was the only way to succeed. Well I guess in other situations there may be more than one way to succeed. He understood what she meant by still learning. He was learning everyday, and today was no different. He now had focus to want to train his mind to prevent any intrusion into it. Boy do I have my work cut out for me... If he wanted to be a swordsman, it was not going to be an easy task.
Tsubaki-sensei then mentioned eating ramen. He was pretty hungry and decided that something to eat would be nice. A break from the day would be a good thing. He stood up and brushed his clothes off, "Come on Mizuiro-san. Let's go eat some food!" He said walking after Tsubaki, resting his hand on his hilt.

 Miziuro felt good that he did learn something, he tried hard, but didn't really succeed. But at least there was now he knew something new. He looked at his Kusarigama, and wondered if it was now time to get his Samehadamaku, he didn't really get to think about it because of the mention of food made him lose his train of though!
"Coming Tenshi-kun!" He hoped his Sensei had enough to buy lots of food. She was crazy to shout a Hoshigaki really. He put away his Kusarigama without a second as he walked.

Tsubaki Yuriko  Hp: 630 / 630 Cp: 840/ 840 MHp: 780 / 780[Part 2 of 2, Training grounds] As they left the Ramen shop Yuriko was quick to notice the clone, and that it could talk. Kage Bunshin? Unlikely... it's probably a water clone... one of our hidden jutsu. If this kid really is a spy I will have to kill him... our jutsu need to remain ours. she thought to herself. She didn't like the idea of having to kill someone who was still a child in her mind but the if the situation required it she would do it. Byakuran was probably in more danger than he realized. She listened to his likes, or rather lack thereof and his dislikes. Despite not saying anything she was sure that deep down he had something that he liked. For his dislike she figured that it was a boy thing because her squad mates didn't like being told what to do as well when they first started out. His hobby was innocent enough, but his dream for the future... perhaps there was more too it but she wouldn't push the issue for now. It took some time and a fair amount of walking but eventually they arrived at the training ground. "Before we begin with the test Byakuran-kun, I have a question for all of you. Sometimes academy students teach themselves how to walk up solid surfaces like trees and stand on top of water." she prefaced the question, "What do each of you know about these two techniques?"
