Deryk chuckled at the others as they said this was like pinball. Well in a way, he guessed it was. Though, he figured he would like real pinball more than bouncing a fog beast around.
"Alright!" he replied to Candace while watching the creature to see where it was headed. Once he had a decent idea, he went to try and cut off its path. His timing about it was not too bad and he managed to stab into it rather nicely, finishing it off.
"Whew. That's gone now."

"Nice catch, Deryk!" Cass grinned, giving him a thumbs up, looking back to Candace with another smile. "It didn't getcha, right? I tried to keep it as down as I could so you'd have a clear shot." she nodded, shaking out her wrist a bit before she looked about the hallway, a small frown coming over her face.
A few of the papers blew by on some sourceless wind, but....
