"I personally think that we are all weak, and I used to fear admitting it... Like you said, 'the weak do not survive'? Now though, I feel that we are just climbing a mountain," She smiled sheepishly, reaching up for the ceiling with one hand, "It's a very high mountain, and we have to fight our way up this mountain, tugging our friends along. Pushing them where needed. They'll pull and push us too, when we are down... We'll reach the top one day, maybe, but there will be even higher mountains to climb, just beyond this one."
She balled her hand into a fist, and put it down on her lap again, "There are many different types of strengths anyway! Physical strength is not the only thing people need in order to survive."

Calder continued to look at his book, turning a page. "I feel off a cliff during the trials.....I don't do well with climbing." He mumbled, knowing very well that Lizzy was talking metaphorically and responding in turn.
"I suppose I can't be relied on much else then. Best look for an alternative." It was disheartening for a monster to know they weren't strong enough. "I'm not a demon or a ghost or a undead. I don't have durability and magic." He turned another page. "Strength is my ability." And if he didn't have that, well, every other option just made him feel like a poor example of a kelpie. They relied on their good looks to lure, but in the end, their speed and strength was what got them their Fear.

"Everyone is important. Strength is a very broad term anyway... I don't think people should be classify for what their race is stereotyped as," She stroked her chin, looking sheepish, "Besides, like I said, people improve. They get stronger as a person over time. If you think yourself 'strong' to start off with, you will have lesser space for improvement. Would you think 'oh, that's my limit'? If there's no limit, if you keep going... That might be for the best."
