Thalion kept his eyes on each of his son's, though for some reason he watched Berg more so than the others. It unnerved Thalion abit that Berg acted like Thalion when he was a foal. "I will keep a steady eye on him" he assured himself. Trotting closer he saw that Lan was laying near Tashi and seemed content enough to nap. Berg had scooted behind Schuy to nap, Rhov was standing beside Schuy still struggling with his blanket whining he wanted to run and feel the wind and Rhys well he was inching his way towards Thalion as usual which caused Thalion to smile.
Rhov was not happy. "Please mama?" he asked in a upset tone. "I want to run and feel the wind and I cant with this blanket take it off please" he said. When she didnt reply, he tried again. "Mama please!"

Tashi laughed as her Thalli pointed out the obvious. "Yes dear, they're our grandchildren. Its kind of hard to believe! But you are our oldest so I suppose it makes sense. But so both of you know, Enthallion and I will always be here to help with anything and everything. Isn't that right Thalli?" She asked her mate as she noticed the little blanket that had cozied up next to her hooves. Tao nuzzled him gently as she once did to her little Schuy.
Schuyler's eyes shined as she saw one of her boys, the one that may turn out to be the sweetest, crawl up to her momma's hooves to sleep. "Thanks Mom, I'm sure we'll take you up on that offer at some point!" She chuckled. Then turning her attention to her other three, Berg, the most 'Thalion like' was avoiding most by hiding behind her. She then, swished her tail lightly over his blanket, disturbing it just enough to show his little nose. And as always, her little Rhysan was being a daddy's boy while Rhov of course was being energetic. "You have to let your muscles fully develop before you do that much dear, just our voyage back was too much for you young'uns in my opinion. Just wait a little longer and I promise you and I will go for a run, okay?" She promised him.
Rhysan peeked out from his blanket once more to see Berg behind their mother. Laughing a little to himself, he inched slowly towards him, nudging him once he got close enough. "Hey..Bergy, lets get Lank, okay?" He whispered. Rhy had long since noticed that Lanky had been trying to sleep, even when he got close to their Grandmother's hooves he still was trying to sleep. He waited for his brother's reply as he thought of a plan. Maybe if Berg wont, I'll try to get Rhov, he thought.

Berg tried to inch further back into his blanket as he felt his mother brush the blanket off his nose. It was his brother's voice that was stopping his from falling asleep though. Grumbling, he snorted indignantly at his brother and managed to scoot under their mothers barrel. "Stop bothering me.." His voice squeaked out. Ah the high pitched voice might be a good reasoning for his little... attitude.

Lan had managed to completely drift off. Completely unaware that his brother was plotting against him and his just rest. Tiny snores could be heard from underneath the blanket that looked like a deposit of gold on black stone.
Thali watched the foal slither over to his life mate. "Seems you have a friend already love. He seems to be allergic to me, but perhaps he will come around later." He watched the blanket but his ears picked up small snickerings a short distance away.

Thalion watched as Schuy dealt with each foal quickly but not rushed. Lan was still near his grandmothers hooves and snoring, Rhys was attempting still to crawl over to Thalion but stopped to nudge Berg but as usual Berg wanted nothing to do with it and set about of going back to sleep but not before Schuy swished her tail above his nose and Rhov was still complaining about his blanket to which Thalion knew would never end until it was time for the blankets to be removed.
Wanting to be closer Thalion trotted over and nudged the nearest foal who happened to be Rhys. Raising his head he looked over and saw Enthallion watching him intently as if to gauge how well a father he would be. Suddenly feeling out of his depth he started to back away but something brushed up against his foreleg and he looked down to see Rhov nudging at him with his head trying to get the blanket off. Laughing Thalion reached down and adjusted his blanket. "Son you must be patient, the blanket is there for your protection. It will be removed when it's time not before" he said. "We are not trying to be mean or hold you back from exploring the lands of Azrein but you have to have patience" he said lovingly as he gave his son a nuzzle.
Rhov had given up on trying to convince his mother to take this stupid blanket off so he scented looking for his father. Moving quickly as he could he suddenly found himself next to his father and nudged at his powerful forelegs with his head. Over and over he pushed hoping to get the blanket off only to have his father reprimand him for his actions. "Father, I despise this blanket. Its not comfortable and it holds me back from running. I so want to run and feel the wind Father" he said in a sullen voice. Feeling his father adjusting his blanket Rhov knew he had not won this small battle. Hearing his Father's words Rhov understood his reasons but still the call to run was unbearable he needed to and soon. "I am sorry Father, I just need to run. I can't explain it but the wind it's like it's calling to me and I need to run" he said. " I will try to be patient but it's hard" he said and he plopped down next to his Father and closed his eyes.

Tashi's focus was on Lank who was sleeping contently in front of her. "It seems so, doesn't it?" She replied to her mate. "Just give them a bit, sweetie, they'll soon see how much of an amazing Grandfather you'll be." She said halfway in jest with the 'grandfather' part.
Schuyler saw Rhov give up on trying to convince her and start pestering Thalion before getting the same response and finally laying down. Then, hearing Berg's comment to her other son's plotting. She was halfway glad Berg had refused but was unhappy in the way he had done so. "Berg, sweetie, be nice to your brother. You too Rhys, let Lan sleep." She looked over to Thalion, who had dealt with Rhov expertly. It was becoming clear that Thalion would be the one who their foals would take seriously. It hurt Sky in a way, that her foals wouldn't take her serious enough to obey her without going to their father, but maybe that was just how it was with boys. She looked questioningly at her mate and her parents, wondering how they had handled it all.
Rhys, being the trouble-maker he was, didn't like his brother's reply even more so than his mom. So despite what his mother had just told him, he reached his neck out and chomped down right on Berg's rump. "Fine." He spat, before moving back over to his father, sulking the whole way. Rhy knew his actions were wrong, but sometimes he just couldn't help himself!

Berg mumbled in response to his mother a barely audible. "Yes momma.." It was when his brother's mouth clamped down on his rump that he jolted, banging his head on the underside of his mother's belly and letting out a small high pitched yelp. Glowering over at his brother he had a series of ideas flash through his mind, revenge was among all those thought. Pinning his ears back, he looked up eying his mother closely then a small smirk formed on his maw. "Yeaaaah Rhys.. be nice to your brothers..." The words were laced with a smug, arrogant sort of venom. He could be sweet when he wanted.. but he wasn't about to stand for being bullied.

Lan snorted at the commotion and rolled over. One tiny hoof peeking out of the blanket. His snores became louder. Little did he know he was just baiting the Lan trap.
Enthallion rolled his eyes. "None of that now munchins." He said in a firm voice. "Your brother simply didn't want to play, and that is no reason for a n** on the rear. Those are for parents to decide." That one was going to be a handful. Thali cocked an eye at the sleeping Lan.. "If I didn't know better I would say he is taking after his Uncle Tide...how ...tragic." Of course Tide's snoring was famous.
"Grandfather,, gah. I dont even have gray yet." He whined at his mate.

Letting his gaze drift from foal to foal Thalion's thoughts wandered. Each foal was different, but had their own personality. "How will we survive this?" he thought. "Rhov wants to run, Lan is a bit on the lazy side, Rhys wants to be near me constantly and Berg is a mini me" he whined outloud.
Looking back he saw Enthallion rolling his eyes and whining about gray and the word grandfather which caused Thalion to laugh turning it into a cough.
Rhov was drifting off to sleep when he heard his father whine about each of his sons. Not knowing what his father meant Rhov was confused. Stretching his legs out he turned and sighed hoping his father would nuzzle him.

Schuyler gave Rhys a stern look. "We'll talk about that when we get home mister. Behave yourself." Her voice was stern but also filled with worry. What if she couldn't raise these foals well? She nuzzled Berg, "You all right dear?" She asked concerning. She looked up to her dad, who had handled the situation before she even could, but he did have more experience with foals than she did. Schuy couldn't help but smile when she saw Lan's little hoof peeking out of the blanket.
Tashi heard her mate whine, "Oh silly, you'll be forever young with the way you keep up with these foals!" She laughed, imagining Enthallion as an old great grandfather, coat full of greys.
Rhys just huffed at his mom before scooting over closer to his father but still staying away from everyone, mumbling about how Berg deserved it.
((So, guys, after Lysi gets Berg's growth, do yall wanna timeskip?))

((i'm sick guys so sorry if this fails.))
Berg peered out at his brother from under his blanket with a small, smug sort of look as his mother comforted him. Cuddling close to her he looked up with doe like eyes. "I'm fine momma." He said, casting a cheeky glint to his brother. One that said 'Ha ha you're in trouble..'

Lan snorted the nap was over. He staggered to his feet still regally covered by his beautiful blanket, staggered a couple times then strutted over to his brother Rhysan. He plopped down beside him and began to whisper quietly. Even now he had a lovely speaking voice, pity it was so quiet that the adults had to strain to catch it. "Don't worry Rhys we all know hes a bit stuck up. No idea where he managed to get that from seeing as mom and dad are so sweet, perhaps a great grandfather or something." Lan babbled happily. He himself could be vaguely superior at times not quite as blatant as his brother and easily covered up, but that was just his way. One had to be quick of mind and fleet of foot with three other brothers and Lankyeron was perfecting the art.
Enthallion watched the family in contentment. It was most excellent to have the entire family together again. He was happy and content and ready to be a babysitter again. It just so happened these particular foals were his grandchildren.
