Mine are heirs to technologies of a past race, but know little to none on how to use it.

Ah I see. The Artifact I mentioned gave The Xel'ria their curiousness and team-work. Another race "uplifted them" when they saw their sun dieing. That's my back-story anyway. They have no idea what this artifact does though for now.

Mine is like an STC, it more or less shows them how to make things, but all but one file is missing from it, so they can only make their biggest ship from it, the rest is their own, and it's refitted with their tech, since they don't have some of the technologies to copy it completely.

The ancient races can be just as Xenophobic, and I will tell you the theme I gave each was Horror so they will be terrifying. XD
