"No," Harrison grumbled, chancing a sip and earning a chocolate mustache for the trouble. "How long are we going to be stuck in these ******** barracks?"

"Better than I have been in a while" he replied. "Though I don't know how well I will be able to, I'll just need to ******** deal with it."
And speaking of ******** self control, he glanced at Harrison. And stared.
"Is that chocolate?"

"Until the complex is cleared out," Jordan answered, well aware that it had been a mostly-rhetorical question.
... It was probably a good thing he was sitting between the two of them right now, he mused.

"Yep. Good thing too, because I don't want to know what else the marshmallows could have been." Especially since the packets were from somewhere around the first world war.
Harrison seemed to take Jordan's response to heart.
"...The whole complex," Harrison repeated glumly. "Terrific."

It was really hard to pay attention to much else other than what Harrison was drinking. And the chocolate moustache. Goddamn.
"Is there any more? Because I swear to god if you are drinking the last cup of hot chocolate in this hell hole, I will cut you down like a dog okay."
Jordan's comment made him blink though, he may not have been paying full attention at the briefing. "THE WHOLE THING?" he switched back into his indoor voice. "I mean.. the whole thing? Don't they have like.. I dunno, ways of getting rid of those things faster?"
He frowned and pointed at Harrison. "That threat just like /doubled/"

"Marshmallows, hm. ... You have seen what some of the stuff that gets left in the minipet tanks looks like, haven't you?" Jordan grinned at Harrison, teasing.
"Well, till the dorms get cleared out, anyway. And the labs are first priority, then the rest of the complex, so I know I'm going to be occupying myself killing fog monsters," Jordan clarified.

"They better damn well be marshmallows."
Harrison leaned back, enjoying his second sip a lot more. He treated himself to a leisurely draw of thick, powdery drink before answering Rep's question.
"Dunno, didn't check."
He winced at the complex confirmation.
"We'll be clearing those things out from here 'til Doomsday."

"I've been killing fog monsters - doesn't help. I'm still going crazy in here. I need my space and s**t. I guess I'll just need to work even harder" even as he spoke he didn't take his eyes off Harrison, just imagining the taste of the drink, regardless of how disappointing it likely was was driving him mad.
He had to KNOW he was winding him up, that made it so much worse.
Leaning forward he thumped both fists on the table.
"Give me some."

"I could go check if there's some more," Jordan offered innocently.

"Yeah, let Jordan get you some," Harrison said, taking another lengthy sip and enjoying the security a PDA-ban and the width of the table afforded him.

Rep's eyebrow twitched and he kept his fists on the table, yet despite it, still managed to keep his tone soft as he replied to Jordan. "Aye, that'd be grand."
Even as he said it he was sizing up the possibilities of pouncing over or ducking under the table and stealing the hot chocolate in a drive by. Harrison wasn't allowed to be that damn smug. He had his doubts about the wisdom of doing so, but right now it was REALLY ******** hard to listen to them. He had so many vices. Putting them together wasn't good.
Maybe getting some hot chocolate in his hands would help.

This is a terrible idea, Ferros said, amused.
I know. Isn't it great? Jordan put down his coffee and got up from the table, quirking a smile at the other two. "I'll be right back," he said. "Behave."

"I been a perfect gentleman all day," Harrison said. Another drink. Harrison tilted the mug slightly, observing, "...not going to be much left by the time he gets back."

Rep watched Jordan go with a completely innocent look. He would totally behave. "Hurry back." It would have sounded sappy if he hadn't meant it quite so urgently.
The moment he was gone, he got up and leaned on the table, glaring across the table from a much nearer vantage point in a gesture that'd probably look like a threat to anyone else nearby, and lowered his voice to a growl again, nearly a whisper.
"Then you'd better ******** drink it Ace. Because so help me, if you don't, I am going to flip this entire ******** table. And then I'm going to do things. And I don't even know what those ******** things /are/. But I'm going to do them regardless."
He resumed his normal tone again. "So. Drink. Up."

There was hot water, and there were packets with print so faded that Jordan couldn't quite make it out. Harrison hadn't been kidding when he said the packets were old. Nevertheless, the contents looked and smelled like hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows that actually really did resemble minipet poop, now that he thought about it. Wonderful, he'd ruined hot chocolate for himself.
When he turned around, Rep was leaning over the table, saying something in an undertone. Who was winding who up over there? Probably about an equal share of responsibility, there. Jordan ambled back over to the table, put the cup down on Rep's side of the table, and said with a faint smirk, "Just for you."
