The fennec rolls over itself in a smooth motion and pads over to Undertow, its eyes following the sway of her coral necklace. Playing Fox doesn't seem to notice -- he is too wrapped up in the doe's words. "You seem to already have taught me to sit," he remarks, curling his tail around himself. There is a glint in his eye. "I expect the rest wouldn't prove too hard -- you seem a capable mistress."

Rejam She makes a cooing sound at the fennec. It is also wise to sometimes divide your attention. Simple supply/demand economics. Or that's what she would think, if Kimeti had any kind of concept of supply/demand economics. They don't, of course. She just knows what works. "Who's a good fox?" she murmurs. And that's a good question. Who is? She swings the necklace for the fennec and lets it bat at it like a cat, apparently having successfully distracted it. "I'm in the thick of a business venture," she informs him, abruptly. "But if I say, 'heel,' perhaps you'd follow me. And then you could tell me what you know of foxes, as it appears that this one has taken a shine to me."

Playing Fox swallows thickly; this doe certainly knows how to push his buttons, and he has to admit that he is enjoying letting her -- it isn't often that his snide remarks are so successfully silenced. Still, he can't help but quip: "I've never been too fond of following, but perhaps if you dangled something tempting in front of my face like you're doing to that fox I would be inclined to obey." He can feel his cheeks warm -- it is more often that his bawdy jokes are met with a swift kick or a sharp bite than with actual interest. However, it is also usually the case that his innuendoes are less than serious on his part as well. This situation appears to be radically different. "You may keep him, if you can get him to stay with you," he finishes, nodding at the orange fennec. "He does look quite nice next to your coat."

Rejam "I'm sure I can keep his interest," she says, and she bestows another rare flash of a smile. And when she straightens up, the fennec falls right into place beside her, as if he'd been there all along. "Let's take a walk, and we'll see if you can sustain mine?"
