"Well kitty," Clerise grumped, ducking down to wrap calloused fingers around the hilt of her dropped dagger, scooting along the floor to get to it. It circled around her, this way and that, its grey eyes locked her red ones.
A swipe-- one that was met by one from the acrobat, getting it at the wrist.
Did large, grey jungle cats have wrists?

Clerise gave little hugs through the cages to each of the monsters. She'd have to come back with some others to give them a proper cage cleaning.
Till then, she made sure each of the cages had food and water, and headed for the halls.
Outside the door, however, there was another one of them bitches.
This one was big and ugly and a bit like a bird, and a grimy one at that.

Fortunately, it was wobbly. And she was mad that she had to leave her ******** minipets and return to the ******** barracks with everyone else way too close and not a drop of alcohol or a single gram of weed or ANYTHING AT ALL. It really ******** unsettled her.
Clerise stared at it. It stared back at her. It went back and forth for what seemed like an eternity, and then--
She stabbed it right in the head. Blood got on the desk, but, ah well. It was like, creature blood! Maybe it wouldn't stain.
Without a word, Clerise turned around and closed the door.
