Viv clung to her brother. She wasn't too familiar with anyone here and even though they were all in the same situation, she only trusted aleksandr.

Arianna raced to the fence and was about to step over when she looked at the boy standing next to her. A smile spread across her face. "Little Alek? Is that you?" she whispered, squinting slightly.

Alek looks at her, finding her voice slightly familiar. His eyes scan her over slowly and he smiles. "Arianna?" he laughs. "Yes... I suppose I am little Alek." He brushes a lock of gold hair from his grey eyes, taking his sister's hand again.

She held her brothers hand as tight as she could, nearly standing against his leg.

She laughed softly, hopping agilely over the fence, then looked him up and down. "Not so little anymore, are you?" she said. "Aren't you coming?"

He follows her, bringing Viv with him. "No. I mean, it's been twelve years. You've grown yourself, I see."

She nodded. "S'pose I have," she agreed, stepping lightly through the tall grass. "And who's she?" She pointed to Vivian with a slight smile.

Alek looks toward his little sister with a light smile, then back at Arianna. "This is my little sister, Vivian. Viv for short."

Viv moved towards the back of her brother. Shy and only beginning to trust since it seemed her brother knew this girl.

She smiled gently. "First time, huh?" she said. "It gets less scary."

Vivian sighed "you say that... But I don't think it will..." she muttered to her self.

She sighed. "Be as pessimistic as you want, but this is our life." She darted ahead.

She shook her head thinking I'm five. What do you expect? This is my first time she sighed staying close to her brother

Alek sighed, glancing at Viv. "Viv, she is right. There is no use being scared. We just have to be ready." He lets go of her hand and nods toward the other kids. "Go make a few friends will you? I'm going to try to do the same."
