Psywater turned his head towards the voice, though he was still reeling in pain and managed to dodge the next Night Slash by accident. The scratches left by Satori weren't so aganizing anymore though, and he was able to see a little bit. Although his vision continued to be tinted by infatuation.
Lizzie was encouraged by this small turn of events. "Don't let her fool you!" She had no idea what the Purrloin was saying though she could guess at the meaning. "Rock Smash again!"
The Lugia was really conflicted between his loyalty to his trainer and the guilt he would feel if he attacked the cute kitty. He made a half-attempt of a Rock Smash and his tail whipped about lazily.

{Hey... Why do you pay attention to her? I mean, all that human does is yell at you, right? She's so mean to you, right? I saw the battle you had with that stupid tauros - she wouldn't let you celebrate your way, right? She's a mean human. You should just stop listening to her. There's nothing she can do to you, after all. You're big and strong, not like me. You don't have to cave to the demands of humans if you don't want to. I'll help you along. Mean humans like that only care about you if you lose. So, I'll beat you, and you can get that human to like you. But remember: I'll always be cheering you on.}
With a smile of feigned kindness, she launched off another wave of dark energy.

Psywater winced as another Night Slash marred his body. Although he can't hear his trainer very well, thanks to the infatuation, he could hear the voice of his affections very clearly.
"She just has her own way of cheering me on! And... and... she doesn't keep on hurting me like you do?"
Suddenly connecting the attacks with the Purrloin, Psywater shook his head, trying to sort out all his thoughts. He managed to hear another command from his trainer though, and was glad to be doing something other than smashing the kitty to bits. He flew up into the air and flapped his wings furiously, summoning a storm that he then infused with ice. The Lugia had whipped up a Blizzard and blew the chilly gusts at his opponent.

Satori dropped the facade at the lugia's declaration. Her kind, cheerful expression made way for one of loathing, her eyes radiating a profound disgust.
Cheering for him in her own way? Don't make me sick. Walpurgis was a good human BECAUSE he doesn't yell at me. He doesn't hit me, he is nice. And now this lugia DARES to trivialize my suffering? I'll kill him, I'll kill him, I'll kill him...

The nasty remark made by Satori was the final push. Psywater, his vision clear from pain and love, took a step forward and loomed over the Purrloin.
"Well maybe I will do that! I will make her proud by beating you!"
His tail swooped down at the small cat Pokemon, with the power that was often behind a Rock Smash attack. Lizzie was clutching the railing, glad that the infatuation seemed to have worn off and he was back in action. She didn't say anything but she was silently willing him on.

Satori was slammed by the lugia's tail, but her anger would not allow her to feel it. Instead, she lashed out with both sets of claws, sending a torrent of darkness in every direction.

Psywater endured the attack by shielding the claws with his wings, but he couldn't block all of the damage. Shaking the pain off of them, he kicked himself into the air and sped like a torpedo at the Purrloin, intending to Rock smash her with his head.

Satori side stepped the lugia, by the air pressure proved more than enough to send the small cat flying. Eyes glaring, she sent another blast of darkness at the lugia.

Psywater took the blast and stood his ground but with all the scratches on his body he couldn't go on for much longer. Still trying his best for his trainer, he swung his tail at the Purrloin as another Rock Smash attack.

Satori was once more slammed by the gargantuan tail, but she held strong, racing up the back of Psywater. Jumping into the air, she lashed out with more slashes of darkness.

Psywater didn't even have the strength to block the hits with his wings. Shredded feathers flew all over the place but he still remained standing. Lizzie was glad that he was fighting to the finish, even though the end would involve his defeat. Unless they had a little bit more luck with them.
"Use Blizzard!" She shouted out. Psywater made great effort to create the strong winds required for the winter storm and hurled them towards the direction of the Purrloin.

"Use Blizzard again!" Lizzie shouted. The Purrloin was pretty frozen up as it is but it didn't look like the icy prison would last long. Psywater mustered up enough strength for another snowstorm aimed at Satori.
