Maya attempted to dodge but wasn't quick enough and was struck by the attack. Flint winced, but they wouldn't give up yet! "Maya, try it again!"

Stribog again dodged and then opened his beak. A blue glow appeared once more. He shot out another Ice Beam aiming for the Emolga.
"Good job! Keep it up Stribog!"

Flint winced as the attack hit maya full force. Maya stumbled for a moment, feeling slightly disoriented. " Maya forget the paralyze, just attack, thundershock!"

Alexa fought not to shoot a glare at Flint. "Stribog keep it up! We're going to Ice Beam Maya to fainting!"
Stribog chirped when hit with the Thundershock. "Taaaarrrrrrriiiiaaaa." He called out shooting another Ice Beam. Then he flapped away heading up higher.

noticing that the mist had cleared up, he decided to take advantage of it. "Maya use tickle again!" he called. Being creative, Maya shot a tiny amount of electricity at Stribog, not enough to harm or paralyze but just enough to create a tickling sensation along his body

"Not this time Flint!" Alexa shouted. She didn't need Stribog caught up in another Encore.... but at the same time she didn't need his attack lowered. But that Encore weighed heavily on her. They would just power on through.... for now. "Hit her with another Ice Beam!"
Stribog nodded slightly, loosing a little focus at the tickling sensation. He shot out another beam of ice.

Flint grimaced, Maya wouldn't last through much more of this. Unless he dis something they would loose. "Maya, use roost! " he called, hoping it would work.

"Again use Ice Beam!" Alexa called out. If Flint was having Maya use Roost it must mean she was getting weak. If their opponent was that weak there was no reason to worry about stats.
Stribog complied shooting another Ice Beam at the roosting Emogla. "Aaaaalllllllta!"

Flint winced, this wasn't going well at all. If they had any chance of winning now it would be through sheer luck, but he would keep trying. "Maya, use tickle again!" Maya's strength was failing but still she complied shooting another weak wave of electricity at Stribog.

This wasn't going well if Flint was going to keep cutting Stribog's attack. They really needed to use another Mist to get rid of the stat cuts.... but with the threat of Encore she didn't dare. Getting an idea she yelled out to Stribog, "Use Ice Beam again! But try to freeze her!"
Stribog chirped laughing as he was tickled again. Hearing the command he shot another Ice Beam, this time holding back a bit so he would freeze Maya instead of just attacking her.

Flint groaned in dismay as Maya was frozen solid, his Pokemon really had the worst luck when it came to getting frozen. Maya was seething inwardly, unable to move, the feeling of being frozen was becomeing all-too familar for her and it frustrated her to no end.

"Alright!" Alexa called out, "Use Mist to get rid of those stat changes!" Now she didn't have to worry about Maya using Encore on them.
Stribog complied and used Mist. A fine white mist covered his body as he flew around the stage.

Flint bit back a curse, the mist would rid Stribog of the lowered attack, and Maya was still frozen. this was not going well for them.

Stribog flew around the frozen Emolga and then swooped in. His beak glowed blue and soon a beam of ice shot out.

Maya broke free of the ice just in time to jump out of the way of the attack. with an angry cry she gathered as much energy as she could and loosed it at Stribog
