Max was definitely still suffering from the Gene-X's side effects, that much was certain when she ran to the toilet. Ignis could hear her gawking out her intestines from a mile away, she almost cringed as the sounds of misery reached her ears. Putting on her best performance face once more, Ignis walked up to the bathroom door, creaked it open and said in her soft tone, "Um..Max was it...are you alright"?

Maxine Collins Max let out a small whimper before flushing the toilet. "I thing I'm dieing," she she whined. Her legs were very weak at the moment so she had to crawl her way out of the bathroom. She was actually very surprised that her legs didn't give out on her when she got out of her bed. Once out of the bathroom, Max laid on her back trying to catch her breath. Max was still deathly pale but her face was a little flushed from her fever. "I really...don't like getting...sick," she managed to mumbled between breaths. "How long...is this...gonna last?" Max shut her eyes tightly as a another rand of pounding headaches erupted in her head. ' I must look really pathetic right now.' Max whole body tensed up when a particularly painful headache come and quickly over her eyes with her fore arm, letting out a small growl of frustration. The light wasn't really helping her at the moment. Level: 1

Ignis moved out of the way as she exited the bathroom and crawled into bed. Seriously, this girl looked so damn pathetic right now..was she that pitiful when she took the Gene-X. No way in hell, she believed. She briefly thought on how easy it would be to flat out murder her, but she restrained herself..as much as she was detesting her incessant whining, Ignis reminded herself that it would all be worth it in the end.
"It..it um..lasted two days for me...when I took the Gene-X that is. On the third day the effects began to lessen to the point where I could get out of bed and move around...". After she said that, she pretended to sympathize, "I...I know how you feel...taking the Gene-X was terrible for me".

Maxine Collins Max slowly moved her arm away from her eyes and looked over at with small smirk on her face. "Good, I only have to got through this one more night." She moved her arm back over her eyes, then a small child-like giggle escaped her lips. "I thank you for not attacking me yet. I would prefer if you waited until I am in tip top shape so it would be a fair fight. Attacking me in current state right now would only prove that you are a coward and I'm sure you don't want to be called that. Oh and I must thank you for the pleasant smell of burning wood yesterday. It kind of reminded me of home." The pain was starting to lessen so she took this time to continue on with their previous conversation. With a deep breath, Max moved her self so she was leaning against the wall and laid her hands in her lap. She looked at Ignis with a grin on her face. Even though Max was not feeling all that good last night, she still managed to observe her new room-mate. It was mostly due to her instincts that caused Max to come to the conclusion that Ignis wanted to do harm to her, how much harm though, she wasn't sure. For one the smell of burning wood she caught of Ignis when she passed by her to get in the room, the same smell that came from the room beside theirs, really started to make Max think that there was something more to her. There was also the past experiences with 'shy' fighters as well. The way that Ignis looked at her, gave her the feeling as if she was looking for an opening to attack; similar to the look the 'shy' fighters carried from Max's past. Lastly the way she portrayed as a shy, innocent girl didn't seem to fit her. Though Max had to admit, Ignis was a pretty convincing actress. She held about 95% confidence in her assumptions so the thanks she gave to Ignis was more of her way to trying to figure out who the real Ignis was. Max found that making a person angry, like accusing them of having ill intent, was a pretty go way of finding the truth. Level: 1

Ignis didn't bat an eyelash when Max made the fair accusation. Though she did begin to wonder what could have possibly given her away, especially to someone who looked like they were at deaths door? She mentioned the fire burning in the next room, but how could she have any proof that it was her? Fact probably was that she didn't, and that her accusations were based on educated assumptions at best. And then another question was raised. How could she tell that Ignis was going to attack her. While sure Ignis had a few slips in demeanour, she was fairly sure she kept herself composed and well performed. How in the world could she have known? Where was she getting this information? As far Ignis was concerned, her performance was as usual...flawless. However this didn't ruin her plans, or even perturb her. It just meant that this Max character would be all the more fun to play around with.
Keeping the same expression, the same posture, and the same tone, Ignis tipped her head to the side confused, "W..what? I wasn't going to attack you....why would you think that"? And then she looked around, sniffing the air saying, "And what are you talking about..burning wood? I..I mean I smelled it to but I didn't start it...". She began to giggle saying, "You must be delirious from the Gene-X Max, it can be a side effect you know. One more day and you will be just fine". Getting up she began skipping over to the fridge saying, "Hee hee hee hee....I can tell your going to be a fun roomie".

Maxine Collins Max's grin falter a bit partly due to her pounding head ache and partly due to the fact that her accusation didn't work as well as she hoped. ' Oh well,' she shrugged mentally, ' This just means that the game isn't over yet.' Max let out a small chuckled and rubbed side of her head, messing up her hair even more that it was before. "I guess that was the Gene-X talkin'. Sorry about that Ignis." Level: 1

Ignis turned back and smiled kindly at the bedridden Max as she scoured the fridge for something to eat. As she looked Ignis said, "It's alright Max, we all have are off days...your just having a really really really really big off day". She sighed when she found nothing, she needed something to eat. Bouncing over to Max's side Ignis said, "If your not to sick, wanna umm...get something to eat with me at the cafeteria.."? She smiled gleefully at Max. Either way, whether she answered yes or no, she was going to get food, she was pretty hungry.

Maxine Collins A loud growl from Max's stomach rang through the room. "Food sounds really good right now. Let me fix myself up first so I can lessen my current undead look." Like Ignis, she had slept in her yesterday clothes. Carefully she stood up from her bed and grabbed some clothes before heading off into the bathroom. Her legs weren't a week as they were a while ago but they weren't going to buckle under her. Quickly she when through the morning routine of brushing her teeth and getting the knots out of her hair. Normally Max wouldn't care if there was someone else in the room while she changed but since just met Ignis, she decided to change in the bathroom. After a couple of minutes, Max emerged from the bathroom wearing a black tank top, black fingerless gloves, and dark blue cargo pants that were stuffed into black combat boots. Her long red hair was tied up in a high ponytail and she she even put on a little makeup so actually looked human. "Ok. Let's go. I'm starving." Level: 1

Smiling, Ignis gathered her belongings and started at the door. Opening it for Max, Ignis would follow as soon as she exited. In her mind, she thought what she was going to do today...she figured that after eating as escorting her new toy back to the bedroom, she would ditch the broad and go do some training. But honestly she was beginning to have some fun with this new girl, and Ignis was actually a bit interested in what powers this girl got out of the Gene-X. Knowledge was power after all...and Max was right..if she attacked her while she was weak and fragile, it would make her a coward, something Ignis was most definitely not. If she was to ultimately kill her, she would rather her prey put up some sort of a fight.

Keri looked around her half of the room trying to figure out what she had forgotten. "Oh, my glasses," she mumbled bore exiting the room. Quickly getting in front of her, Ignis led Max out of the room and into the hallways. From there they would head towards the cafeteria. Ignis admitted she was fairly hungry, and wanted to get there as quickly as possible.

In any case this was her new home as he inserted the key within the lock, unlocking door as the door open inward when she turn the nob. Inside seemed like a pretty normal room, two beds, a door leading into a rather normal bathroom with a separate tub and shower and many other things. The room seemed to almost please her since it was normal, her own room back at Germany was huge but she was never picky about anything. From what the agent also said on the ship, she'll be awaiting a package outside the door which contained an item that he said would make me "superhuman". At first she didn't take his words rather serious but now she's starting to think something is odd here. This whole island itself is odd, cut off from the world itself, even the maps aren't charted and this is a pretty big island, half as huge as Georgia in the states. For whatever reason it gave her a bad taste in her mouth but she didn't care at the same time. For now she'll relax since the trip was rather long, setting her luggage and sealed katana onto the floor. She approached one of the beds which by the looks, wasn't touched for sometime, that must be Azura's bed. She lightly sat down, thinking heavy on the past and how she missed both her father and mother now. But still, she went as far as changing her last name which was Emerson, she's fine with the name Nightstalker.‡ ▂▃▅▆▆▅▃▂ ╬...For I leave behind my trail of sorrow and hate╬

A knock would be heard at the door. If Azura were to open it..no one would be there. However, a box would be laying at her feet, a note on the box saying, "For Azura". On the box itself, it said, "Gene-X". Opening the box would reveal a syringe and an instruction pamphlet showing how to inject yourself, complete with a warning label of all the nasty side effects she will have to endure for 3 days.

Harper moved down the hallway till her eyes spotted what looked to be the room she would be living in. It said 111, which is what the lady had told her. She thought she spotted someone walking down the hallway in the other direction but Harper thought nothing of it as she walked to the door. Luckily Harper looked down at the door knob and noticed a package in front of the door. It was a small box that said For Azura.
Assuming Azura was her room mate she wondered if she should pick the box up for her. She reached down and grabbed the box before knocking slightly on the door and opening it.
"Hello?" Harper said, opening to door wider and looking into the room. The room held two of everything, almost. Except one small t.v., a refrigerator and a love seat. Harper used her free hand to push some of her hair from her eyes. One last look around the room she noticed a girl. She seemed very young, which bothered Harper a bit. Why was someone so young at a fighting school? "Hey! I'm Harper." She told the girl. Harper was still standing in the door way holding the box that said For Azura on it.

Said the young red headed girl as her eyes had a dull look, empty even that was filled with sorrow from the past.
