Mitsu's expression dripped into sadness, shaking her head as she continued to stay in the way. " This isn't some Christmas being...this is Riley. She's one of us." Just because she had changed didn't mean she didn't deserve a chance. Besides she had yet to attack anyone. She could very well still be in there. Hadn't Red tried to help them in the end before she ended up...destroyed. HP: 35/40 Riley HP: 87

"Yes and the least we could do for her is end her quickly so she doesn't have to exist like this," Shun replied to Mitsu. His gaze soon shifted over towards Aymet as he asked about the infection and what was wrong with Riley. He didn't know much about Insanity himself, aside from that it was some sort of chaotic fear. Red had been afflicted with it, as well as the joy creatures. And apparently know it was happening to Riley. He was fairly certain of it. Her skin had that same grey tone and her eyes were that electric blue. The reaper recalled a few things regarding it when someone had asked Stacey. He had mentioned that it was infectious.. "Insanity. I'm sure of it. You were around during christmastival right? Remember how the creatures turned grey and their eyes became blue? That's what it is," he explained. Letting out a breath, he looked at the giant grey being. "There is no known cure. There isn't a lot known about it in the first place. But it's apparently infectious. And yes, there are hunters around still. We don't have much time in the first place."

[ Entering from Conquest ]
He had heard that the hunters had come and fights were breaking out, but what Clyde had not expected was to run into a fight just by running though the Famine portal. Having a giant lady standing before a scattered group of students was not what he had expected and it startled him. He wasn’t sure what to do but he did run over towards the group…or try to anyways.
“What’s going on?” he shouted, keeping his eyes on the giant and the group(s). Should they be attacking that thing? Was it their enemy?

Every time someone spoke, Riley turned her head, and her gaze, to look at them. Otherwise, she had not moved, nor did she make any gesture that seemed aggressive, despite the scattered attacks that chipped at her grey form. She simply waited, and listened. The howling of one particular student sounded so grief-stricken, that her eyes remained on it for more than just a moment. But Malodore's cries were eventually treated to the same reaction as everyone else - complete apathy. The creature before them had no idea who it was, or why it was so upset. But it was more than happy to oblige it's final wish. It will all be over, soon. Riley's voice rose above the hum of a hundred other voices in the air, whispering threats and warnings and crying for help. The fog that surrounded her started to seep forward, tendrils reaching out with loving care that could have almost reminded them of Riley's tentacles. The difference was clear as the tendrils of fog stung and burned at each student's skin on contact. The fog continued to envelop each and every one of them, seeking nothing more than to devour their essence entirely. Quote: Riley's HP: 87AoE Damage: 20 (Done to everyone in the room at the time of attack) Effect: The room is now filled with fog, and the whispers are louder, and more disturbing. The sound of wind chimes is faint, but still there.

Aymet wanted to ask Shun more, but there was a slight interruption. This wasn't the Riley he knew, definitely not the Riley that Malodore knew. The fog burned like fire. There wasn't enough of Aymet to withstand it; he dissipated almost instantly...
... and reappeared right where he'd been standing, a quarter good as new. The dracolich was on edge, and instinctively let loose with a burst of FEAR, in self-defense. Skeletons tore out of the ground, rushed toward the towering Riley and tore at the grey, misty skin. They faded, but the damage was done. There were still voices that came from all around them, fog that reached toward them. It was nightmarish, and not in the good way.
It wasn't the first time students had fought other students. Insanity. The same thing that had driven them to madness before when the fog thing had attacked the school. But they won, they had always won. Everyone had been all right in the end-
Except, apparently, for Red-
But they didn't have time to figure this out. Waiting around trying to fix Riley might cost everyone else their lives. How many times could they reform here, weaker each time, before they themselves fizzled out of existence? The hunters were attacking, they were right below, Amrita was down there, there wasn't enough time.

Hearing a new voice ask what was going on, Shun glanced over at him and he was about to answer, but the fog suddenly grew. It wasn't just the normal fog either. It hurt. A lot. Tensing up from the sudden pain, he let out a cry, as he felt the fog burn at his skin as if it was slowly eating away at him. That wasn't it though. He saw the fog envelope the plague doctor and everyone else as well. If that wasn't an indicator of something being terribly wrong, he didn't know what was. She and the doctor were lovers were they not?
"Kusssoooooo" he hissed sharply before coldly adding, "This isn't Riley any more. End her before she ends us."
That said, he took in a deep breath and rushed through the fog. It was hard to move with how much pain his body was in right about now. But, he managed to make a swipe at her with his daggers nonetheless.

Her time of entering was poor. The fog grew deeper just as she stepped into the room, the portal practically vanishing behind her. All around the faint sound of wind chimes filled the air tied to the screams and shouts of a hundred voices ringing in her head. For a moment she stumbled, shaking all over as the voices washed over her. The staggering moment passed though and she saw something that caused her to stop dead in her tracks.
"Riley no... Jack no not again."
A thousand thoughts flashed through her mind, Red, the weapon, Riley hadn't had a weapon she didn't change, but the insanity. A funeral. Students dressed in Red alone in the woods, tokens placed in a box. The cold ice encasing her as Red took her final moments. Students lingering around a giants bones weeping.
Then there was fire.
Red and Blue it washed over her in her mind, bone flaring FEAR trying to shield her very core from the attack, her body charring and turning black all along said arm.
A picture on a phone, of two ghouls looking up at a camera phone on the Island of war.
"NO!"
She stormed through the fog, robes billowing about her, booths thundering on hardly seen stone as tendrils reached out to caress her rotting flesh. She felt none of the burn, blind anger, pure rage, and sickening guilt took the forefront of her thoughts as she moved towards the towering creature that had been Riley.
She moved past the other students turning to stand before the beast, FEAR burning all along her left arm, eyes dancing like small wild fires.
"I swear to Jack and on Red's grave. I won't make that mistake again...They, us, we killed Red. We didn't help her we fought her..." She took a spot blatantly between Riley and the other students raising her fist not at Riley. But the other students.
"I won't let that happen again."
Her eyes snapped towards Shun and she started to move towards him, "STOP IT NOW OR I SWEAR BOIL I'LL BREAK EVERY BONE IN YOUR BODY WHEN THIS IS DONE!" Her left fist snapped out right for his jaw FEAR crackling in the air along with the screams of agony and chaos.HP: 40/40 DMG @ Shun: 9 Items: FEAR Medkit Blade Kuroda Sammy says stop that with her fist Shun

There was a voice that he could not quite place. It seemed to be everywhere, and it bothered him. Then the tendrils of fog reached out, wrapping around him, burning his flesh as he hissed in pain.
He pulled his Fear to him on impulse, surprised when it began to work. Apparently they could use their fear again. He was about to attack when a ghoul shouted out, running at a reaper boil and punching him. He watched, confused, Fear dying down. Why in Halloween were students attacking other students that were trying to destroy a creature that was obviously harming them?
Perhaps this new ghoul was insane. He would have to keep a closer eye on Alexander.

Yep, a lot like Christmas all over again.
Alex felt the doubt wash over him in the form of the thickening fog, making him feel like a complete and utter failure even as he was suddenly being stung by cool, wispy tendrils all over his body. It made him ache, made everything hurt and he could feel his fear beginning to be drained away. Dimly he was aware of somebody yelling. Telling them to stop attacking. It was odd, because when he had first came, Alex was unsure of what he should do, and whether or not he should attack.
But now, his decision was made.
She was hurting them, all of them, and it wasn't going to stop no matter what the undead ghoul said, unless they brought her down. Alex wouldn't let that happen, not to him, not to Yin. He finally moved forward, pushing past the pain and weakness he felt, teeth gritted tight as he wound up and threw a punch at whatever grey flesh of Riley's was nearest for him to hit, then he backed up to stand side by side with Yin, giving the other boil a look of grim determination.
This is what needed to be done. HP:20/40 Damage: 6 Riley's HP: 67

Siddie stepped through into fog. Immediately, a cold chill ran down her spine as memories of that island flashed into her mind. The fog and its voices - but here, now, there was something that was and wasn't Riley, standing huge and strange and grey over a small group of students. Siddie gasped, a small and helpless sound, and put her hand over her mouth. Had Riley gone berserk, or been changed? Or was this an illusion, just something taking the shape of her friend to confuse her? Sammy had gone to defend the thing that was and wasn't Riley. The zombie ghoul sounded like she knew something; most of what Siddie knew was secondhand, but she knew one thing over all else: she trusted Sammy. Silently, she moved to stand beside Sammy, not yet attacking, but making her choice of sides clear. ------------------------ (( OOC:Character Name: Siddie HP: 40/40 Target: Damage: Effect: -))

Sammy turned eyes flickering towards Siddie, "Stop them... please. We didn't give Red a chance, we turned on her along with the hunters... we thought it was the right thing. It wasn't."
She turned back wathching as two more students moved forward to attack, "Break their knees, their arms, beat them to the last drop of FEAR Siddie, I know it's wrong, and it hurts. But we can't let them kill Riley, not like Red, not like that again..."
She turned back tendrils drifting past to stroke her cheek burning the flesh ever so slightly, fear twisted in her vocal cords and her voice rang out again.
"STOP THIS NOW! IF YOU ATTACK HER, IF YOU DO THIS WE MIGHT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE MADE WITH RED!"
Her cry was horse and sore as her body was pushed to bellow out the words.
"WE HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER WAY!"

"Then what the jack do we do?" Roch demanded. "She just took out half of my FEAR shield, another attack like that and we'll all be out--first years will be DEAD. Tell me what to do, Sammy, cuz I ain't gonna just stand here as she kills me."

Soon after he had made his move, Shun felt a punch slam into him. Reeling back, he quickly turned towards Sammy, hissing as he felt that one pretty well.
"You're free to try but don't think I'll let it slide should you strike me again," he hissed back to the zombie,"This. Isn't Riley anymore. She just struck Malodore of all people."
Letting out a breath, he straightened up, narrowing his eye at Sammy.
"She will kill us all if we do not do something now. So stop ******** yelling and get out of the way. I will not stand here and let her essence shred me apart."

Siddie bit her lip. Riley had attacked Malodore? How - was it really Riley? Did she not remember herself? The shadow girl turned to face Riley, moving to stand right in front of the looming grey figure, close enough to touch her. "Riley," she called, stretching a hand up towards the demon she'd come to think f as a friend. "Riley, it's us. Why are you hurting us? We're not your enemies." ------------------------ (( OOC:Character Name: Siddie HP: 40/40 Target: Damage: Effect: -))
