There is always a place to be...

Rays of the sun beamed through the treetops to the forest floor. Each beam was cut off by the man's body and each leaf crushed beneath his feet. His own presence swayed back to the well until he was at arm's length to the passage of the old construct. He heavy sigh escaped from his lips and eyes wandered throughout the surroundings of the forest. A ruffle of white fur laid on his shoulders, small breathes to taste the air when its head rose. Its ears perked and twitched to the moving sounds and cries of the forest, most likely birds on their day to search for food. The slow swipes of its tail, signing that it was in content and no danger was lurking at this time. Returning to the young man who gave a tug to his scarf, preventing from coming unloose of the little creature's weight. A shift that had forced him to sit down on the edge, staring out into the emptiness of the forest. Not even the ground had shown any moving life, but the noise of the forest still echoed.

"Man, I'm beat." His hand came across to ruffle it up in frustration, but gently fell to his side. "There was nothing out there from that direction, nothing but trees." He had been stuck in the forest for a while, so this what it was like getting lost. He rummaged through his pockets and pull out his cell phone, he examined the screen questioningly. "That can't be right." He began dialing his house number, but no response was received. He was in discontent as the phone continue to sound away. "No signal..." He shoved his phone back to his pockets. He rustle through his hair with a free hand, another sigh left him. "Just where am I?" The little fox rubbed against his cheek, he gave a glance before the animal leaped off his shoulder. The small fox circled once before heading out into the forest. "Hey!" He jumped off his seat, chasing after the sleek puff ball. "Where are you going?!" He stammered. Both escaped out into the opposite direction from once they came, his heart beating with every exertion of his legs till he came near to the end of the forest.

Kino smiled and sat near Koga. "Well, she's our little sister, me and Rusty. She's the leader of our pack. When you were pups, some of our wolves, and some of your wolves crossed paths and well, didn't get along. So you guys, defending your packs, ended up fighting. I remember it started because she bit your arm when you said she wasn't supposed to lead because she was a girl." She giggled and looked up at the sky. "We live in the same territory as Ayame. It seems like all three of our packs are roaming the same areas, though normally our pack never comes past Inuyasha's tree and the well here." She patted Koga's shoulder. "You'll meet Tsuki again soon enough. I've called her." She looked down at Koga's legs. "So, do the Jewel shards really give as much power as they say?"

Kinoka raised a brow at Koga. "I was only asking because Tsuki has one too. If you don't believe that we've ever met, I can't blame you. It only sticks out in our minds because it happened not too long after Tsuki was passed the title." She rested her head on her knees. "Look, I know you guys don't trust us. You, that silver-haired boy, and I'll admit, we've kind of been in the shadows lately. But we aren't out to hurt anyone. We're just trying to find someone. This man in a baboon cloak. He's caused... a lot of damage to my pack.." She couldn't help herself, and a few tears rolled down her cheeks. She tried to bite back a small sob, thinking about what Naraku had done to her friends, but a small whimper still escaped her.

Tsuki yawned and stretched. She cracked her neck and rested her hands on her hips. She’d been practicing her shape-shifting and decided it was time to be finished. Her ears twitched as she listened to the scurrying creatures in the forest around her. She smiled and enjoyed the breeze that blew across her face. She could hear a low whistle. That was usually what Kinoka did when she needed Tsuki. The wolf girl sighed and dropped her hands. Then she could feel the low rumble of the ground. Rusega walked past her. He paused and bent his head down. Tsuki touched his nose. ”Going home? Well, I left them at the river.” She patted his nose and he continued on. She only had to walk for a little before she stumbled on Kino and Koga. She folded her arms and leaned against a tree, her tail waving slowly. She could tell her sister was upset. ”What’s wrong Kino?” She approached, wary of Koga, and kneeled next to her sister.







Kino looked up at the sound of the rock breaking. "You know who he is..?" Her voice cracked. She quickly wiped away the tears on her cheeks, trying to blink back the fresh ones coming to her eyes. "Did he kill pups from your tribe too?" When Tsuki showed up next to her, Kino grabbed her arm. "Tsuki." She hugged her sister. "Koga's had problems with the baboon too."

Tsuki looked at Koga. "He sent insects into my pack in the middle of the night.Twelve pups weren't strong enough to survive until Kino could heal them. And some of the older members passed too.. I can't imagine the loss you've been through. It seems this.. Naraku.. has a habit of attacking wolves." She rested her hand on Kino's and whispered in her ear. "It isn't your fault.. You couldn't have done anything better than you did.." She looked up at Koga's comment about Rusty. "Heh. The day that I worry about Rusty's safety in a fight is the day that the world ends. Trust me, you would not be able to kill him any more than I can." She sighed. "As far as our problem, I don't see that it's much of a big deal any more. Rusty can be hot-headed and overprotective. We've both grown. Our packs are large enough that it would be hard to avoid conflict if we don't fix this. It seems we have a mutual mission, to hunt down this Naraku and destroy him." She offered her hand to him. "I'm sorry for starting this whole mess so long ago. Allies?"

Tsuki nodded, then smiled and shook her head. "I know better than to try to command a pack that isn't mine. I think my wolves are like yours. They probably won't appreciate someone else telling them what to do when I've been the alpha for so long. Maybe the two of us should work together, then we can spread the orders to our tribes. That way there won't be any questions about who controls who." She rested her hands on her hips and twitched her ears. She looked at Kino. "Can you go tell Rusty and the others?" Kino nodded and stood. She bowed slightly to Koga before being engulfed in a ball of flame. She reappeared as a black fox and took off through the trees. Tsuki turned back to Koga. She leaned against one side of the well. "So, any ideas as to where Naraku may be?"

Tsuki looked up at Koga. "We've seen them too. They aren't very bright. Easy to beat." She nodded and stood. She touched her forehead. "The last time we had contact with him was the incident with the insects.. Until about a week ago. He tried to take the Shikon shard from me. Fortunately for me, Rusty and Kino were there and the three of us can put up a hell of a fight together. Imagine if we all teamed up, you, us, and Inuyasha and the girl with him." She sighed and looked up at the sky. "After the attack, we chased him this way, but his scent just disappeared a little ways that way." She pointed toward the mountains. "We've searched, but there's no signs of him." She sighed and sat on the edge of the well. She rested her chin in her hand, with her elbow on her knee. A small ring of water flowed between her fingers of her free hand. Tsuki spoke, staring at the water on her hand, "What do you think we should do?"




{{OoC: Just by the way, the shard is in her forehead and she can sometimes use it to see the most recent people that someone has been with. Like Koga was with Inuyasha and Kagome. I didn't list it as a power because it isn't permanent. }}
