Aleister grabbed another tile, this time red and placed it down after Wilson and Deryk had placed tiles. "We should probably get this done fast.... hopefully it doesn't ... blow up on us or something."((OOC: UPDATED GLYPH TEMPLATE: xTOTAL NUMBER OF RED GLYPHS PLACED: 7 TOTAL NUMBER OF BLUE GLYPHS PLACED: 7 ))

"... Ehe..?"Deryk just sort of laughed nervously at Wilson when he saw the look on his face, then nodded to Aleister. Yes. Keep moving. He grabbed a blue tile and set it in the next spot. ((OOC: UPDATED GLYPH TEMPLATE: xTOTAL NUMBER OF RED GLYPHS PLACED: 7 TOTAL NUMBER OF BLUE GLYPHS PLACED: 8 ))

"I hope the ceiling doesn't come crashing down on us or something," She mused out loud, "Or time travel. Wouldn't want to cause a rip in the time-space continuum after all." This was not a sign of things to come either. Hopefully.
Taking the last glyph that wasn't a repeat of the ones before it, she carefully placed it down to make the number of reds and blues equal before hopping back to the group; now to see if anything explodes. She would have to make sure she turn her back to it...

Ennéa was banged up and still feeling emotionally shakey after her experience traversing the labrynth. The low deep rumbling from the lava reminded her of the walls grinding together and the strange loud buzz from the rune in the floor set her teeth on edge. Her left arm still ached too from blundering into that one trap.
She stood off to the side next to Maddie, giving herself a chance to breathe before trying to help out with the runes. She needed to be able to focus as she suspected making a mistake placing the stone glyph tiles would be quite unpleasant... if not deadly.
"Hey Maddie." She gave her friend a tried wry grin, noting how battered and banged up the other girl looked, it looked like Maddie had a hard time with the labyrinth too. "You doing okay?"
Ennéa turned and looked at the others laying the glyph tiles and sighed. "I guess we should go help out too, huh?"
She gingerly flexed her injured arm and then walked over to the rune pattern. "Hm." Ennéa had watched her fellow hunters enough that she had a fairly good idea of what to do but she was still nervous. She didn't want to be the one to mess things up. Still, she couldn't stand by and let everyone else do the work.
Before she was able to do anything though, one of the other hunters (she really needed to be better about being more social and learning names, she thought guiltily) placed what looked like the last glyph tile? "Oh." Well, that was that. She'd just have to be faster about helping out next time.
Ennéa looked warily at the glowing rune. Hopefully their actions really wouldn't cause a rip in the space-time continuum or make the ceiling to collapse. She glanced nervously at the ceiling. Or both.

Jude stood back staring down at the floor after Ariane had placed her glyphs and two thoughts struck him just then.
The floor looked empty and there was also the fact that they didn't even have to use or pick up one tile at a time unless they were weak in the arms. There was also something about Cael's directions that was also bothering him a bit. Suddenly he grabbed a new blue and a new red tile and began to sit them down.
"I think we have to fill the entire floor and also? We gotta make sure we that we just maybe don't put like two of the same symbols in the same color down..." Jude said thoughtfully as if to add some further thoughts to their heads. ((OOC: UPDATED GLYPH TEMPLATE: HERETOTAL NUMBER OF RED GLYPHS PLACED: 9 TOTAL NUMBER OF BLUE GLYPHS PLACED: 9))

Jude was suddenly frantic as he hit upon the realization and suddenly began to grab tiles as he could get at a time. Currently he carried two red and two blue and placed them down. His expression that of grim determination. ((OOC: UPDATED GLYPH TEMPLATE: HEREOHGODTOTAL NUMBER OF RED GLYPHS PLACED: 11 TOTAL NUMBER OF BLUE GLYPHS PLACED: 11 ))

Madison gave both Jude and Ennea a wan smile. "I'll be okay, thanks... just got hit by a stupid spike." She looked down at her leg, which was still bundled in her scarf. It didn't hurt as much now, but it was stiff. At least the bleeding had stopped?
Or maybe the growing sense of pressure was making her awareness shut down. Hopefully it was the former and not the latter.

A lot of the stress he was under was self imposed. He grabbed four more tiles to place down suddenly trying to move faster than his feet could take him. A time or two he stumbled and almost fell. Ennéa watched nonplussed as another hunter whose name she totally didn't remember either (she was really bad at socializing, she realized), suddenly spoke up about the glyph tiles. Were they really not done?
She froze in indecision. She didn't want to mess things up for her team but... she chewed on her lower lip and watched as the hunter began frantically placing tiles by himself.
Finally, she couldn't stand it. "Here, let me help?" She stepped forward but then the other hunter finished laying the remaining tiles. "Oh, nevermind." She said sheepishly.
Late again. "Sorry."

Jude looked over at the Hunter he'd seen around and shook his head a bit as he just let himself buckle down to the floor into a heap, "You're...You're fine..Don't worry about it. Are you doing alright?"
He didn't seem bothered by the fact that no one ushered in to help right before his frantic running about and placing all the tiles. Jude was just glad it got done.

The rest of the Death Hunters were arriving now, and Gale stepped back, watching as first Jude stepped forward, then Ariane, all of them picking up the tiles and setting them into place. His eyes momentarily flicked towards Eva, and silently he passed by her, not wanting to say everything that was clouding in his head. He felt numb, disconnected from the body he was in, and the words that were always in his mind seemed to magnify, pressing down on his thoughts and turning everything into a murky black.
Why is everything so confusing?
He did not want to remember. It was too painful.
Jude was still working, moving back and forth with a determination that spoke volumes, and once he was finished, Gale stepped towards him, pulling off the scarf around his neck and holding it out.
"Here," he said quietly. "Use it to tie your arm."
He felt bad about not having helped more, selfishly lost in his own thoughts, and moved back embarrasedly, accidentally knocking into someone behind him - and when he turned around, he could see that it was Ennéa. Gale had not spoken to her in quite some time - in fact, he hadn't even seen her in months - and now he was not sure what to say.
"...sorry," he murmured, and turned his head, absently reaching up a hand to brush at his hair, short against the back of his neck.

Jude looked up at Gale as he approached and offered a small nod of thanks as he took the scarf and slid off part of his jacket so that he could tie up the wound a bit better, what he had done prior had come loose and fallen away during his very important self-assigned mission. If it had just been him he might have just let whatever was going to happen ... happen but there were others to think of, people within his Division.
He couldn't just sit back and not do anything after he made his realization.
"Don't be sorry, Gale, you just...were having a moment. It happens," he said quietly his voice sounded tired as he looked but he wasn't going to hold a grudge on anyone, "I have moments, too...Thanks for the scarf."
The young man offered Gale a small smile.
Joke is on Otto. The Scorpion Gods were going to spit him back out if they knew what is good for them.
