With all of the movement and commotion, Guy was straining to keep up with Yuri's speed. He had assumed that he had gained the upper hand when he knocked Yuri down, and so he wavered slightly, which was enough for Yuri to counter-attack and send Guy's sword flying from his hands. Now unarmed, he stood motionless for a brief second, shocked. After he realized what had happened, Guy relaxed, letting out a deep exhale, then he laughed, smiling at Yuri. "Well. It looks like I still have a bit more to learn. Congratulations; I quite enjoyed our fight."

Guy walked over to his sword and retrieved the weapon from the ground, wiping off the dirt before returning the blade to its sheath. Yuri's fighting was impressive, indeed - it seemed like Guy had a new rival when it came to the sword, and he had a new goal to work towards. Not bad all in all, considering that he was the one who had lost. Turning around, Guy walked back towards Yuri. "You have much better foot-speed than I do. I could barely keep up with you."

Anonymes cried out in alarm as his master's sword was thrown from his hands. Oh no, poor Master! Master had lost! Oh, how awful this was! But - Master seemed okay with it. In fact, Master even seemed happy! Oh, Master was so wonderful and kind and friendly! Master was the best, even if he did lose! That just meant that Master had to practice more! Hooray! Anonymes turned to Repede with joy in his eyes. ["Your Master seems really cool! He's super fast with his sword!"]

Guy's fist met Yuri's, and he chuckled as he replied. "I thought I had beaten you, too. Guess that just shows that you can't assume anything in a fight." He sat down with a sigh, exhausted after their battle. Yuri had assuredly earned Guy's respect, and Guy looked forward to being able to fight him again - moreover, he looked forward to defeating him. Glancing up at Yuri, Guy gave a half-smile. "So, you said that you quit the Guarde, huh? Why's that? You didn't get kicked out, did you?" he asked jokingly.

Anonymes followed Repede toward their humans, the Lampent happily floated over to his own master, giving him a hug in greeting. Oki, on the other hand, wanted nothing more to do now if Sir Guy would not train with him. Instead, he stubbornly walked over to Guy and retreated back into his Pokeball.

"Ah... All right, then," Guy said, shrugging his shoulders. If Yuri didn't feel like talking about it, then Guy wouldn't pressure him to. He had secrets of his own, after all - he might as well respect those of others, as well.

Anonymes clung onto Guy's left arm, and the swordsman smiled kindly as he petted the affectionate Ghost's head. In response to Yuri's own question, Guy blinked, then he looked back to his acquaintance. "Heh, no... No, I'm not a noble. These are just clothes I had gotten from the House that I serve." He was a noble, though...! No, not anymore. That future for him had long since gone. Besides that, Guy was happy where he was. He had seen the stresses and the betrayals of politics, and he knew that he wanted no part in that. Not anymore.

Guy could not help but laugh at Yuri's assumption. "Hah, no, I'm no butler. I don't think I'm quite posh enough for that sort of gig." He placed his hands on the ground, leaning backward, looking up at the clear blue sky. "I'm actually a sort of bodyguard for the son of the duke whose House I serve. He's a bit of a brat, but he's still my best friend." A faint smile appeared on Guy's lips as he closed his eyes, memories of his times together with Luke flooding back to him.

Anonymes still clung happily to his master, enjoying the fact that his master looked so content and at ease. That always made Anon glad.

Guy exhaled lightly, content to sit in the grasses and the wildflowers. It was so nice and peaceful out here. He should really come to this place more often. "So, I look just like your best friend, then? I bet that was confusing for you, huh?"

Sighing, Guy lay down on the ground, making sure to be careful for the sake of the Ghost still clinging to his arm. He stared up at the clouds, staying quiet for a minute until he broke the silence. "Luke's a spoiled brat, that's all he is. He's cocky and arrogant and too curious for his own damn good. I swear, he can never seem to stay out of trouble." Just as Yuri had done, Guy spoke about his friend with the same affection one might use when speaking of a beloved brother. Through all of it, Luke was the closest thing to a sibling Guy had now, and he wouldn't change that.

Guy shrugged his shoulders, lacing his hands behind his neck as Yuri had done. "I don't know much about the Guarde, so I suppose I wouldn't really know."

Guy closed his eyes again as Anonymes cuddled up to him happily. "Yeah... For all of his faults, Luke really is a good kid. He'd do anything for his friends, no matter what the cost to him might be. He's brave, even if he can be a little stupid at times." He smiled to himself. "But then again, I suppose all of us can be stupid."

Obviously, that statement did not exclude Guy as well. He had done his fair share of stupid things, that was for sure. He had thought of attempting some stupid things, too, but he felt relieved that he had not been ignorant enough to act on any childish thoughts of revenge when he was younger. Who knows where he would have ended up if he had? ...He didn't want to think too much about the hypothetical consequences his actions would have wrought.

Guy closed his eyes and lay in silence for a long while, enjoying the peace and quiet, as well as the company. When he looked up once more, dark clouds were beginning to form in the distance, and a cold wind was blowing them in the direction of the plains. Sighing, Guy got himself to his feet and dusted himself off, looking over at Yuri. "I should probably start heading out soon. I don't really feel like being rained on today," he said, gesturing toward the threatening thunderheads on the horizon.

After Anonymes had detached from Guy's arm and Guy had brushed all of the grass off of him, he turned to walk away, glancing over his shoulder as he called back to Yuri. "Nice meeting you, Yuri. I look forward to fighting you again sometime soon!" He gave the man a final wave [Anonymes followed suit, eager to copy his master], and then Guy and his Lampent began the walk back into town.

Again, not a bad day.
