Vaith never got a chance to experience the jewelry-class or the other classes of Death, although several students told him how fun it was. So this was what they were making?

He bent down, running his hands over several of the crafted items .. Sturdy. Nothing less from Death.

Vaith spent some more time investigating the weapons and armor. He might have even picked one up, for a second, before feeling like he had just invaded someone's privacy, and then gently putting it down.

Wielding someone else's weapon was a taboo thing.

Rikki gave her a blank look and stopped fiddling with his ears. "Horsies?" Where had she seen horses? He didn't remember passing any, or he probably would have stopped. He had a soft spot for horses.

"Horsemen!" she responded, setting her tokens up in little towers. Mayor Token was back on the prowl. He was also a super spy agent, and was out to get all the bad guys.

Basically token town was the epitome of badassery.

"Like ... do you think the horsemen like us and stuff?" she elaborated.

Rikki couldn't believe what he'd just heard. Horsies referred to horsemen? In a single moment. A single word. Two, simple syllables. Danny had just denounced everything that was supposed to be revered and regal about an entire race of people. It would have been impressive had she done in intentionally. Still, there was a moment of sheer what the ******** before Rikki could formulate a response.

"Wuuh. Uh. I don't know? They're letting us stay an extra day, so they must not think that little of us."  

[chiickadee]

"But they keep telling us not to touch stuff and that we can't talk loud in places..." she said, quietly tinkering away with her tokens. Mayor Token had just found love interest Mrs. Token and they were having stagnant awkward conversation that was witty and hilarious.

"It kind of reminds me of Oersted." The slight metallic noises clanging back and forth stopped for a moment, but picked up once more in a matter of seconds. It was just still just hard to say.

Rikki ran his finger along the edge of a breastplate, frowning at the mention of Oersted. Oersted. Jacking Oersted. But there was one thing Rikki couldn't believe. "You think Oersted doesn't like you?" That... was ridiculous.  

[chiickadee]

"Well ... he's my brother so its just-..." She looked to her left, closed her eyes for a moment and really thought about it. Oersted was her brother, and most just chalked it up to sibling argument.

Finally, she said, "Nah, I don't think he does." She looked back at Rikki, oddly smiling. "But its nothing new. A lot of people don't." She laughed sincerely. She knew she annoyed a lot of people.

"I think the horsies are kinda mean, but they're nice on the inside." She nodded and added, "At least they have pretty things." Her fingers moved over the pile of tokens to her left, knocking over one of the buildings. Oops.

"We do not allow contact or abnormal volumes of voices because it is unnecessary. Why should we allow the unnecessary?"

And that was to say, Rikki and Mayor Token were starting to look unnecessary.

Aisa picked up what the ghoul knocked over, a displeased look on her expression. Like and dislike were not part of the thoughts that noisily accompanied the students .. it was the fact, they were a nuisance. Especially when they regarded the items of Death like these ..

Roch jerked, a look of shock on his face at Willow's word. He was shocked--stunned, even, at the idea of the horsemen using halloweeners--

But he shouldn't have been, he thought. He opened his mouth, about to reply when a loud ringing noise had him putting his fingers in his ears and looking around for the source. He didn't see it--but he did see the death heir, he thought, looking at the female talking to Rikki.

Huh.

Willow's tail flickered as she looked around, eyes halting on Asia. She was still speaking to Roch in a low tone "The future may not be certain though. It's not the first one I was shown."

She added carefully "None of the ones I've seen have been pleasant though." She shook her head. She was looking at the ground again when she noticed something wedged in one of the tools, stooping to pick it up. "Balance is perhaps the key to all survival but how to balance such a problem is the question."

"But its possible," Roch replied almost silently, turning away from the horseman and starting to look around again. It wasn't that he wasn't interested, it was that he'd rather let them deal with her as he tried to deal with the concept of being used as a resource--

Oh who was he kidding? He was always a resource in one way or another. He saw more remnants of jewelry and a flat, carved stone, which he picked up and examined curiously.

There was something half-buried in a pile of scraps, the colour odd against everything else. Had someone left this here on purpose?

Riley decided the forges deserved, at least, a moment's worth of her time, but as soon as she walked in, a parcel lay at her feet. She picked it up and continued onward.
