An Extra GiftParent 1: Imogen - Amirynth
Parent 2: Dayunsi - Amirynth
Link to Breeding Permission: N/A Lifemates: Yessums What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A basket of flowers grown by Dayunsi and a short song composed by Immi Short IC Response: Imogen stepped up to the place where the wishing star shone the brightest, placing the basket that contained their offerings in a safe location. She knew Day never voiced his worries but they were shared by herself. He worried that his transgressions had insulted the spirits which was why they had forsaken them and cast her barren. Immi knew this was not true, especially after confiding her worries to the troll matriarch who had agreed with her, yet still she could see the weight upon her mates shoulders. Where once the flutter had been always smiling, sometime even humming along to her many songs, he spent more and more time in his gardens within the hidden glades. He still taught the younglings in the ways of the flora but Immi could tell he had a longing to teach his own. Nidawi was now fostered out and teaching others and Mairéad had followed in her mother's footsteps rather than her father. Imogen hoped that maybe the wishing star would bless them and there may be a chance of a small flutter foal, much like her mate, one that he would find solace in teaching them his ways with the earth and plants that their guild depended upon. Carefully she chose her words. "Such a small gift I have yet larger still is the request. A child to ease my handsome butterfly's heart who fears he does so little and yet deserves so much. A pure soul to brighten his day, and one whom I can dote upon in my older age. This I ask most humbly and thank you for the opportunity of new life." With a nod she nudged the basket to the near by tree where other offerings had already been gathered and turned to head back home, back to the mate who loved her so dearly and she loved in return.

A True FriendWho is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Brown eyes glared up at the sky and scoffs, “What is there to know, I am the daughter of the King’s Mistress, the true love of King Leodegrance, not that oaf of a queen that is his mate. And should be the rightful heir to his throne, but no, my good for nothing sister is the one that inherited the title of Queen. Enough about my family, you wanted to know more about me, I am violent, vindictive, and will kill without thought,” her beautiful face twisted into something malicious, “and have done so on many occasions.” Her gaze left the starry heavens, “My wish, oh great star, is to have someone who is as dark as me be by my side; to be my General of sorts.” 10 Things I Like: 1. Armor 2. Kalona or Kelpie would be lovely, but I do not really care, as long as he is evil. 3. Darkness/Evil 4. Poison 5. Sharp pointy objects 6. A stallion to be my second in command. 7. Anyone with a black heart10 Things I Don’t Like: 1. Cute adorable fluffy things 2. Neon Colors 3. Goodness 4. Anything that has to do with happiness or positivityWhat does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The mare presented the star with her most prized possession, it was a simple small wooden box, with only one black pearl encased in the lid with tarnished metal; but the box was not what she was offering, it was what the small chest contained. Hidden beneath the wooden casing was a heart. Her mother’s heart. When her mother died, she cut out the mare’s heart with her horn and placed it with in the box, ensuring that her mother will always be by her side. “Star, this is my offering, it is no mire trifle to me. This box should suffice for my wish, one evil heart for another.”

A True Friend Who is Wishing?:
Taiza the crow (he is male, was miscerted originally and I seem to have misplaced the other x.x)
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: "I am a traveler through and through, to see all the wide world is what I wish to do," the crow explained, though it was a bit silly, maybe, to be talking to the sky. Even if it was more specifically to a star. Even if if was most specifically to that star. It was supposed to be special. It was supposed to grant wishes. To be fair, he already had most of what he would wish for, he was free and healthy and had no one to keep him from doing as he loved. But then again, there seemed to be no one to do that with him either. Which might possibly have helped that one time he almost got eaten, two heads were better than one, and four eyes better than two!
10 Things I Like: 1. Wings to help keep up with me! 2. Antlers because they are fun to perch on! 3. Horns also can be fun to perch on, though those pointy sort of vertical ones are a little tough to balance on. 4. Short fluffy manes, because they make good mini-nests. 5. Long silky tails, because they are fun to play with and tie knots in. Er. By accident of course. 6. Beads, shiny! 7. Friendly individuals 8. Clever individuals 9. Someone willing to travel is a must. 10. Someone big and strong to protect me would be nice.
10 Things I Don’t Like: 1. Gore (entrails, blood, gaping wounds, just… iiik, cannot handle it) 2. Not having hair to play with (bald Soquili) 3. Skinwalkers, they’re just horrible 4. Crazy complicated patterns, I don’t want to get dizzy looking at my friend! 5. Neon bright colors, I don’t want headaches from ‘em either! 6. Sharply clashing colors, same reason as 5 7. Nasty, evil, bloodthirsty Soquili 8. Clingly sorts 9. Annoying sorts 10. Tch, I like who I like, and dislike who I dislike. I can change my mind about liking something if I want to! (this is an IC response, not OOC)
What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The crow hopped around the chosen spot, leaving little tracks in the dirt as he pondered what sort of present he might leave. Feathers? No, surely they would blow away. So what then? Flowers grew everywhere, not special, nor were rocks or seeds or twigs or anything he could think of to find on short notice. It was almost a whim, his being here. But it would be much more fun to travel with someone else, would it not? He had spent some time with others a time or two before. It had been nice. But they were always on their way somewhere else…
It would be nice to have someone who wasn’t on their way somewhere without need for his company. Or want really. But not someone who wanted his company all the time! He needed to do his own thing too after all, and maybe he might like to revisit others or make new acquaintances. Someone friendly, not clingy, someone who wouldn’t try to eat him. Someone he could talk to, who wouldn’t nag nag nag about feathers not being straight as some females seemed to. Someone who’d travel like… oh. Taiza stopped, looking down at the tracks he’d been leaving in the earth. “A traveling companion is my wish, on wind or ground or water as a fish,” he finally said, not sure if talking to the star was the way to go about doing this or not. But someone to make tracks with… his own tracks were a good sort of thing for that, right? Kind of symbolic? Sort of?
…maybe he would leave some feathers too. Tracks seemed like too cheap a way out really.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A moon-shaped mask, just like the one his mother used to wear. Short IC Response: Oh grand wishing star... it has been so long since I have seen my mother. She is as gentle as a spring breeze and as graceful as the moon's wispy light. She belongs to my old herd, those who cover their faces with masks... just as you see me. I place before you a mask in the shape of a moon, quite like the one she would wear... perhaps the essence of it will help you find her and my old herd. They have hidden themselves from the world, just as I hide behind this sun upon my muzzle. So please... star light, star bright... please grant my wish tonight... to find the gentle mare who wears a moon mask.

An Extra GiftParent 1: UncertParent 2: UncertLink to Breeding Permission: HereLifemates: Yes! What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A lock of Chepi's hair and a lullaby from Aras. Short IC Response: Smiling wistfully Chepi's lone eye peered up at the bright star...she did truly believe in magic..in wishes come true and faeries fluttering among the trees whispering secrets to those that stopped to listen. Nearby she watched her new found mate sleep..the rhythmic rising and falling of his strong chest a reminder of the sweet words he had just finished singing to the star. A lullaby for a baby of their own. Before her sat a little lock of her own precious hair, a few loose strands blowing away when a breeze swept by. They had been on many journeys, she and her sweet bard had traveled far..yet they had yet to do one thing..to start one journey all parents wished to begin. The journey to parenthood..the beginning of a brand new life with a child of their very own. A little one that Chepi could teach to 'fly'..one Aras could sing to when they had trouble getting to sleep at night. Smiling brightly she locked her eye on the star once more, sweet voice lifting so the star might hear her better. "I know it's not much Mister..or miss star..but, it's all we have to give! I'm a faerie so I do believe in magic, really I truly do! That's why..I want a child from you..a baby to start our family..I'd take such good care of it..I'd teach it to find faeries and, Aras could teach it to sing pretty songs! S-so...if it won't take too much of your magic..could you give us a child..a family all our own? Please?" Smiling a more soft relaxed smile Chepi let her eye fall shut, ears perked to listen as others came forward from the darkness to make their own wishes. Though Chepi wanted her wish to come true she also said a little word for the others, everyone deserved a wish come true after all! Just as the stars began fading from the sky..just as the last stallion said his wish to the fading star only then did Chepi sleepily move to sleep under her sweet bard's wing..dreaming of the future adventures they would have.

An Extra GiftParent 1: Crisanto (Kirowyn Love and Amethyst M Bell) UncertParent 2: Kanani (Aniira) UncertLink to Breeding Permission: Here (Do I still need to obtain extra permission if they are lifemates with blanket permission to breed agreed on by all parties?) Lifemates: Yes What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The dreams of two of the nicest and respectable Soquili one could hope to meet. Crisanto offers one of his strings of beads. Short IC Response:
Crisanto and Kanani were pretty much made for each other. Their calm and loyal demeanors, honesty and sense of honor are just a few of their good traits. They have been together for a little over three years now.
Crisanto had been feeling restless lately. Well, not restless, but unfulfilled in some way. When he talked to his mate about it, she said she had been feeling the same way. But what could it be? They had a wonderful life in their herd and together. Six wonderful children all grown up together and peace in their territory. Although the children had mostly all gone off on adventures of their own. The more Cris thought about it, the more he realized he missed the ruckus of little hooves getting into trouble. After talking it over with his mate, they decided to ask the wishing star to grant them one more little one to look after. With a hopeful nuzzle from his mate, Crisanto headed up the hill with his offering to the wishing star, hope filling his heart.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Brother Race (first choice): Hippogryph Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Vanya leaves one of the feathers from her mane, long, bright and perfect. Attached to the feather is a small silver bell, one she's specially made for this occasion. Short IC Response: Vanya sat in her nest, the moon shining brightly down on her. Most of her sisters were sleeping now; the exceptions being the guards who had the night watch. She looked up at the sky and let out a sigh of delight. Shining as bright as ever, next to the moon, was the fabled wishing star. Vanya heard stories of her mother wishing for a daughter upon it and then Vanya was born. Of course, it was just a coincidence for her mother to get pregnant around the same time, but she held on to that hope.
Vanya's head tilted to the side. Her mother had birthed more children than she. They were lost in the Earthquake; presumed dead when months and months of searching turned up nothing. She wondered if perhaps her siblings were looking at the same star she was, wishing to be reunited as she was. "Perhaps you will guide them home," she whispered softly, eyes glinting in the light.
It had been so long since they were seperated. Baskets, at the time, Vanya had not even known their genders or names. If she had not been a filly herself when they were lost, she would have never stopped searching. As it was, she was whisked away with The Flock and kept away from the danger, kept away from her siblings.
Vanya reached around and nosed in her feathers, plucking the longest from her tail and placing it before her. She rustled around her containers and found a small one, suitable for housing a small trinket only. Inside she pulled out a silver bell. It had been intended for her children one day, but this was more fitting, she thought. She would make more bells for her children. They weren't lost. She held the bell in her claws for a moment, shaking it so it tinkled.
The bell joined the feather and Vanya looked up at the star one last time. "A feather so they know who I am - so they know we share the same blood. A bell so they will never get lost again."Note: Idk if this means anything but I'm actually questing a sister now and a friend of mine is questing one, too. One is based on a white peacock, the other a pied peacock. Just thought it might be something you could play around with. c:

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Any but a parent would be good. Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Feathers from his own wings and some flowers. Short IC Response: Zavis wandered away from his lifemate while she slept, leaving her in the company of his little mouse friend Kali. It was dark, not his favorite time as lots of dangers lurked just out of sight and in fact Zavis was downright nervous, his skin twitched constantly but he took a deep breath and ventured out of the comfort and relatively safety of the treeline and out into a meadow so he could see the sky clearly. He looked up and sighed. "Wishing star this isn't the first time i've asked this of you but now i have a mate, we're trying to start a family and i have no memory of mine at all" he paused and looked down with a sigh. "Please Star.... if any of my family are alive... i just wish... i need to know where i come from, everything is just a blackness when i think of anything" He pawed at the earth impatiently "I don't care if they wanted me or not... i just need to know... " He sighed and turned away, he'd said all he could, he'd not stuttered at all but he was still afraid and he had stayed out in the meadow longer than he'd wanted to, He gulped and trotted back to the trees, towards his new family, turning his head back to look at the star one last time. "please...." then he turned back and was enveloped back into the 'safety' of his beloved trees and to his mate and his best friend.

An Extra GiftParent 1: Olearius
Uncert Parent 2: Recovery
Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: [x] Lifemates: Yes What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A golden leaf from Olearius, which reminds her when Illudin didn't exist and a golden tree flourished on her rump as a foal, and from Recovery she has brought a lace handkerchief he had once offered her to dry her tears. Short IC Response: Olearius had left the security of the swamp that evening and made for the plains, carrying with her two items that meant a great deal to her. Buu had told her a story to comfort her and in her naivety she believed it like a child, or an adult simply at a loss for what to do. When the tree line broke and opened into the grassy plains, she charged at a gallop into the wide open expanse. After a time of simply running, and the sense of freedom filled her, she stopped, her breath misting in the cool of the night she looked skywards, searching.
One star shone brighter than all the others, she walked slowly towards it. Placing on the ground the two items she carried in her mouth, she stared at them before whispering softly in vain hope to the star above, 'I love Recovery with all my heart, but Illudin plagues my thoughts and corrupts my true emotions...' At the mention of his name the shadowy like creature which lived in the dead tree on her rump, stirred. Olearius lowered her voice further, 'I can never be rid of Illudin though, he is part of me.' she paused and looked at the offerings below, and then looking up at the star once again she whispered, 'I just wish I could bring him as much joy as he does me, to provide him with a family, something we can do together...I love him so much.'
*They have loads of throwbacks, if your interested.*

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Brother Race (first choice): Alicorn (like Sakura) Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A fresh sprinkling of flowers, picked from all over the forest, and a collection of pretty pebbles she's found on her wanderings. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Sakura paused, ashen eyes searching the skies for that star that shone so brightly. Her heart fluttered, lifting slightly in hope as she caught sight of the familiar beacon of life. Perhaps... This time... This time it might work... It wasn't her first time wishing. Last year when the star had passed, she had sacrificed the beloved bracelets her father had left her when she was young in the hope of an extra foal. Her wish hadn't been heard, but she'd been blessed with two beautiful baskets later, who were both growing into fine young stallions. Maybe the message had been deliberate though. Maybe the star had known she would have a quick conception and birth. After all, there were other couples that tried to have foals for years and still hadn't been blessed with them, yet there she was without even a true lifemate getting pregnant straight away. Maybe she didn't need the wish, and the star had tried to show her that. After all, her two boys were perfect as they were. She wished for nothing more. But now it was time to hope and pray and wish again. The mare gently bent her neck, placing her offerings out into the moonlight. "Please, star. Listen to what I say. I understand why you didn't give me my wish last year, but this year I really, really need it." A haunted look crept into her eyes as her mind thought back to the bleaker parts of her past. "After dad left," Her voice broke on the second word, "A-after he left, we foals were like a band. We were family. We stuck together so tightly, and we looked out for each other. But now we've all grown up, and they've gone off to live their own lives, and I'm the only one left here trapped in memories of my past. I... I don't ask you to bring back my dad, that is something that would be out of your control, after so long. I just ask..." She cleared her throat, blinking away the shadows of tears that welled up in those torn, pained eyes. "Please bring my family back, any of them. It would mean the world to me to see my siblings... Any of them. All of them... Especially now that I have my foals, and although I'm not raising them alone, it's still not the same as raising them with your one-and-only. Being able to show my brothers my boys, it would be all I could wish for now. Please..."

A True FriendWho is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Star, I know that I am not pure, and that my taint is not worthy of such clear light, but I wish for one that can understand me. Someone who is as impure as myself to wander the nights as I do so that it won't be as lonely. I am not worthy of the company of kirins, but there must be someone out there who knows this feeling. My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Grandfather Race (first choice): Uni/Wind cross Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Unicorn What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A branch of fermented berries, a couple of elderly apples, and one incredibly confused squirrel. What? Who knows a star's desires? Short IC Response: There was nothing more that Galileo Figaro, Unicorn Extraordinaire, enjoyed than a night under the stars after a whirlwind of a day. And whyever wouldn't this be his favorite thing? Was he not practically one with the sky, with his nebulous coat and shimmering horn? When he'd noticed the particularly bright star in the sky that night, he'd leaped with the sheer joie de vivre of it all. Oh space, oh sky, oh sweet chilly night! The stallion practically collapsed on a hillside, flanks soaked with sweat. He'd been chasing the celestial orb all evening; the sight of such a rarity had filled his head with an effervescent rush of bubbles and color. Everything was perfect and nothing was the matter; he was completely intoxicated on the beauty of the sky and the cool mountain air. "Oh Star!" he cried out to the heavens. "How I wish I had someone like you in my life! Someone who was as ancient and deep as the heavens; someone I could truly look up to." Maybe it was the headiness of the night; maybe it was the beauty of the moment- but whatever it was, an idea sparked in the unicorn's brain. "Star..." he said quietly, thinking carefully. "Star, I only knew my father for a short while, and I never knew the generations that came before. But I know they must have been wise and shimmering in their infinities. Do you think- do you perhaps think, that if I were to wish upon you, you would- I'd like to meet my grandfather, I think. Either grandfather." The unicorn was quiet for a moment, listening for the cosmic chimes, some starry music in response. The wind whipped through the pine needles and leaves, danced through the twigs and rushes; if he imagined enough, he could almost hear singing. "Look, I know it's pretty impossible. But you're a star. And you're magic. I got faith in you. Good night, Wishing Star."

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Her brother, Raven Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Alicorn or Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Her beaded necklace, the one item she had to remember her parents by. Short IC Response: Coyote closed her eyes as she relaxed, curled on the wet grass under the shelter of a squat, thick-leaved bush while a light rain drizzled above. She sighed inwardly. Usually the mare was un-falteringly cheerful to the point of occasionally frightening other soquili, but on days like this when she was forced to stay where it was dry kept her bored and allowed her mind to wander. Without the distraction of other equines around to play tricks on, she couldn't stop herself from remembering her beloved brother, Raven, who had disappeared last spring and never returned. Raven and Coyote had gotten separated from their parents (Rabbit and Raccoon) at a very young age and have not seen them since, but survived together to adulthood. Once they were both grown, Raven told his sister that he couldn't stand not knowing who their parents were, where they have been, how they were doing, and if they missed their children. Coyote was terrified of losing the one family member she had left, but she was understanding nonetheless and didn't prevent him from going. Both soquili had many unanswered questions about their parents and heritage and this was the only way to find answers. However much it might hurt to never see her brother again (for, after all, it was a dangerous world they knew little about), it would hurt both of them more to never again see their parents. Coyote was too afraid to leave the familiar safety of the small field they called home, but wished him luck and bid him farewell, and Raven left her with a feather from each of his wings, tying them to her tail.

A True FriendWho is Wishing?: Midori Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Midori looked up at the star, then looked around to make sure others weren't watching. Her gaze returned to the star and she sighed. "I'm so lonely, star... It's like there are so many others around, but nobody sees me. I've been here so long, and I just can't find anyone who wants to be around me. I don't know what I've done to deserve it. Ijust want someone who likes me and wants to be around me." She shook her head, angry for pitying herself. She'd just been alone for so long.10 Things I Like: 1. Floof 2. Naturals 3. Simplicity 4. Striiipes 5. Grounded breeds (as she would feel jealous of winged species) 6. Black/White color combo 7. Long, flowy haaaair 8. Expression changes 9. Jewelry (not overdone) 10. Horns 10 Things I Don’t Like: 1. Minis 2. Super short hair (unless it's styled way cool) XD 3. Gore 4. Overly busy colors/edits 5. For this one, wings. 6. For this one, "evil" breeds. Halfbreeds are fine. What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Midori looks at the bag she'd brought and sighed. "These are some of my favorite things. I thought, if I brought you them, you'd know kind of what I like, and find me someone who likes these things, too." She grabbed the bottom of the bag with her mouth and lifted it, the contents spilling out. Out rolled a green apple, unseasonably ripe, a necklace made of some sea shells she'd found years ago, some bows her two-legger had made her, and a rather thick bracelet made of pieces of wicker from the baskets she had taken in. It was obvious that the mare was very sentimental.
