So here's couple movies I've seen recently
The X-men: Days of future pastScore: 9/10
The plot: The movie takes place in the near-ish apocalyptic future. Mutants and other people considered to be subhumans are hunted and hoarded like cattle. The X-men team comes up with an desperate plan to change the past and to save mankind.
What I thought about it:I have to admit that I've skipped the few recent X-men movies. They had been getting bit too repetitive in my opinion. For this, the trailers and all that pre-movie spoof really had me sold and I decided that I would have to see this one. I'm glad that I did since I really enjoyed the movie. Of course it's an special effect spectacle but there is an strong red thread that goes through the movie. Even though it is a sequel to the previous movies, it doesn't require you to see the previous ones, but it is a plus especially in the end.
I'm interested to see where Marvel might take X-men franchise from here. The plot was bit predictable but there are few twists and turns that I don't want to spoil for those who haven't seen this yet. I was especially suprised of the James McAvoy's acting capability. His previous roles haven't really moved me that much but this hit like a ton of bricks. I hope he's able to dust off the X-men cape off his shoulders at some point and do other movies too.

Captain America: The Winter SoldierScore: 8/10
The plot: Captain America saves the day again with this pure heart and hard fists. There is a new nemesis from the past that makes things interesting.
What I thought about it:Ok to start with, I like Marvel Superhero movies. They are entertaining and look nice. I know they don't have the most deepest plot, but that's not the reason why I like them.
smile So, having that off the shoulder, Captain America is pretty much "safe and sound Marvel blockbuster". The plot is pretty predictable and the characters doesn't really move you that much, but still it manages to hypnotize you for the couple hours. Underneath the movie there is a moral plot that points it finger to the current over sensitive military politics big nations have around the world. The effects are a spectacle and I like that Marvel have given Black Widow more screen time, even though she is portrayed little bit like a default, helpless female -character. Chris Evans is... well, Chris Evans. Big, muscular and with little expressions. I think he's OK actor but he's not really convincing me to believe that his character has just been frozen for few decades and the technology/clothing/way people behave he sees around him is new to him.
