The feline backed up several steps just as the girl began to call out the phrase she had requested. Henshining up was never the same for any two senshi. Some were quite active in their powering up, while others were quite still.
The girl seemed to ponder over certain things for a moment, and the cat remained silent for a bit, absorbing in the various questions. However, the final comment is where ********* started.
"I said it would not turn you into a monster, which is what you were concerned with earlier. And no, not a princess. You are Sailor Cybele, Senshi of the Hunt.. And what you are wearing is called a Fuku, Cybele." The feline smiled from her place. "The fact you were able to use that object means it was truly yours to begin with. If it wasn't meant for you, then it would have done nothing."

Cybele was in a bit of a state of shock. What was she doing like this, anyway? She'd known the cat was weird, and she'd let it talk her into this anyway. She shot the cat a look of pure poison. But the anger passed. ********* wasn't an it, and it wasn't such a big deal. A fuku? New clothes, that was all. And a new name.
"I don't get it... Sailor Cybele, Senshi of the Hunt... You said the Senshi fight monsters... I mean, youma. But I almost got killed once. I was the hunted one then... So what does this mean?" The girl could barely wrap her mind around it. She knew she wasn't dreaming, but she felt strange all the sudden. Denial? Maybe. But it wasn't like this was a bad thing, so far. "Why do you have weird words for everything? The monsters are youma, my clothes are a fuku, and as for me... What about Fleur? I mean, me? I don't feel different. I don't think I need a new name..."

The manx's head bobbed up and down a few times, agreeing with her assessments silently (save for the metallic jingling of her collar's bell). Eventually, the feline did speak once again, once she had seemingly gathered up all she wanted to say.
"Yes, Sailor Cybele... and... I will say this. You might want to start thinking of this as a 'super hero' style gig... where... you go by a super hero name to keep your 'secret identity'... a secret."
There was a pause as ********* lifted up a paw and held it out in front of her. "I don't think you will need to worry about being the one who is hunted now... in this form, you are stronger and faster... but you also have the aid of magic. If you hold out your hand in front of you... and call out 'Cybele Hunter's Grace' with the enthusiasm from before... you'll see what sort of magic you have."

"Ok... I'm a super hero? But how does a new name help?" Cybele ran her hands over her face, feeling nothing new or different about that. Of course she'd heard of the terrorists. People would be scared of her, and she wasn't even given a mask. "I mean, I don't look different, do I? Can't they see Fleur in my face, or at least my DNA?" She twirled, looking at her fuku again. "And since when do heroes wear dresses, and heels? How am I supposed to fight in this?" Cybele didn't question that she'd fight. Being able to protect herself and others... She was the kid of person who couldn't sit still. For her it was much better to hunt down the evil than be attacked in ignorance.
Cybele seemed to be out of questions. Well, almost. She met the cat's eyes with curiosity, asking, "Why do you know so much about me?" She took a step back then, and followed the cat's instructions, as if it was payment for her question. "Cybele Hunter's Grace!" This time there wasn't a flash of light, just something in her hands. It was a bow, an average size, old fashioned bow with no frills that shimmered slightly. Whoever she was supposed to be had class. Cybele knew it wouldn't last. She also knew its arrow was a blessing, not a weapon. She'd been in archery class for a while, and as she drew the string she realized it had no real weight. She shot it into the air, and it came back down, dissolving around her and making her feel stronger. She ran. No, she flew. Not far, but faster than she'd ever run before. She could feel the wind on her face, and everything seemed so much brighter. She laughed. This was fun. Then she turned back. She got back to ********* just as her speed faded. She gasped, but she wasn't as tired as she should have been. "Whoa. That was... Incredible. But it's for fighting?"

Before she could really get a word in about the whole concept of the secret identity, the girl had not only listened to her advice on using her ability, but she had run off. It was only when she managed to skid her way back that the manx was able to give any sorts of answers to her questions.
"Goodness...I do suspect that would help you in a fight... you'd have the advantage and be able to destroy any youma. And... if you had an ally who was stronger, you could use it on them instead to give them the advantage instead." Now that the girl seemed to have settled in place, the small animal found herself trying to rub up against her ankles.
"Let's see here... your other questions. Magic has a way of masking things... so where as you are still the same person as before... there's a sort of glamor that covers it up. Your best friend in the whole world would not be able to tell that Cybele is really Fleur... unless you told them... which would be silly in all honesty since a friend having that knowledge would be more dangerous than helpful. And your enemies don't worry about DNA, but I am quite sure the magic also helps mask it as well."
A pause for a breath, which gave her a chance to rub her cheek against the girl.
"I suspect that heroes do just fine fighting in a dress and heels... since if I recall, you were saved by a senshi before... and were they able to do the job with their fuku and fancy shoes?"
Finally, the last question was to be addressed. "I know lots about senshi because its my job... though... before meeting you, I didn't know about you. It's only once I get close to a potential senshi that the information seems to unlock itself to me... C'est la vie!"

Wow. ********* was finally giving her answers. Cybele smiled at the little cat and scratched her ears absentmindedly. Well, she rolled the answers aroung in her head for a while. She sat down so she could do pet ********* more easily, tugging her skirt into a modest position carefully. "Wait. What am I fighting for, anyway? Just to protect?" Her eyes scanned the street thoughtfully. "The youma... I've only seen one so far. How am I supposed to fight them if I'm not around? I'm pretty busy, you know." Giving up her time... It was something she didn't take lightly. But protecting people was worth it, as lives were as important as her future.
Cybele scratched down ********* back to her... 'tail'. "Why don't you have a tail, *********? Do you fight?" She knew some cat's naturally didn't, but with ********* line of ' work', she was curious. "And is there anything else I should know?" She grabbed her lunch box and opened the bag that had held the sandwich, looking for a trace of tuna salad. There was a little that had falled out of her sandwhich. "Here. Sorry about the rest of it... I can make another one." she said, offering the fish to the kitty. ********* deserved it, for not being a monster.

"There are also the ones that control the youma, the agents of the Negaverse... and... I don't expect you to become a super hero 24-7... but you do need to make some time, or at least keep an eye open and paying attention when you are able." The feline's eyes and ears seemed to grow more attentive as the senshi fiddled with her lunch box. ********* wasn't stupid, she knew there was some sort of food in there.
"...the Negaverse has been known to steal starseeds from people... a lot of the unexplained deaths in the city are actually caused by the Negaverse. A lot of the sudden comas that popped up a couple years ago were at their hands... so in a sense, you do fight to protect... but there's a lot more to it than just that."
The moment the fish was offered, ********* seemed to stop talking business. The questions about her and her responsibilities seemed to go ignored as she began to lap up the small amount of tuna salad. "...oh, don't worry yourself... I'll find other things to eat..."

Cybele giggled at the cat's sudden reaction to the tiny amount of food. "Wow, *********. Maybe you are a real cat!" She waited politely for a few seconds so she could eat, then turned back to the... problems at hand. "Yeah, I can probably figure something out. I'm good at finding time for things." Already she had a calender in her mind...
"Starseeds?" Cybele asked. It wasn't anything she could even find a meaning for. "So the Negaverse is the terrorists... Along with their monsters, the Youma?" Up until this point, she had just been smiling and nodding, but suddenly she felt sick. "More to it... You mean..." She shuddered. All she wanted was to vomit, to snap her magic pen into tiny, useless pieces. No, not pieces. Dust. And to pour the dust into a vat of acid. She didn't want to say it, but she did. "You mean you want me to hunt them? And kill them?" Her face... She didn't let it show disgust, but she didn't look at *********, either. Sailor Cybele, Senshi of the Hunt thought about her title. "I don't even like killing animals. Sorry it's in my new name. I won't. Wouldn't that make us the monsters?" She got up, threw her pen on the ground and walked away, slowly.

This girl definitely had a range of emotions on her. One moment she was seemingly okay, giggling even at how the manx was with food. The next, she seemingly had abandoned the whole senshi thing altogether.
"I don't think I even said that... but I will clarify... I would never tell anyone to kill a member of the Negaverse... otherwise we'd be no better than the Negaverse, who have been known to kill the innocent."
There was a pause as if the feline was trying to think of a way to phrase the next part. "...the youma do need to get put down, or they will continue to hunt the innocent... If you personally aren't willing to put the youma down... then can I at least ask you to maybe help out other senshi with your ability?"

Cybele had only managed a couple of careful steps before the cat's voice caught up with her. She stopped and heard the cat out. A bright blush spread over her face. "Oh..." was all she could manage. Maybe she was being a bit overemotional, but she always made her points clearly. This time, like she often did, she hadn't thought it through. She turned around slowly. "I'm sorry... It's just so weird. I guess I'm overreacting." She sighed on purpose, a bit dramatically. "I don't mind fighting monsters, though..." She reached down as if to stroke the cat, but hesitated. She didn't wan ********* to be mad. "And of course I can help others!"

A hand had reached down to the feline, and though it stopped in an uncertain manner, the cat stood on the tippity top of her toes so she could complete the motion, rubbing her head against the fingers. Even with the accusations that had flown just moments ago, it seemed as if she had already forgiven and forgot.
"Naww... you are probably reacting as most sane people probably would. It is a lot of information and responsibility that has just been handed to you with a cell phone and henshin pen." The feline chuckled before easing herself back to standing normally on her paws.
"In all honesty, I have had more difficult girls to deal with prior to this... I had one who literally ended up vomiting after becoming a senshi... messy and smelly, but again... understandable." There were other manners in which various senshi had dealt with her, some reacted sourly way beyond their initial awakening.
"...either way... you won't be helpless against the youma anymore... it isn't the first time I've heard of an unawakened senshi being attacked by a youma... it is still unfortunate though..."

Honestly, Cybele wasn't exactly sure what was going on, still. It was definitely still up for grabs whether she was fully sure she even was fully relaxed from the whole 'Oh yeah, you may be fighting people~' thing. Actually, she knew she wasn't relaxed, but she wasn't about to go around screaming and running and doing stupid stuff that didn't really accomplish anything. That wouldn't really be fair to *********, especially with the sweet kitty trying hard to help and inform her. Animals had never gotten much courtesy from her before. In fact, she'd said lots to them that she'd never say to a person. That was going to change, though. She gently stroked ********* soft fur. "Well, it is pretty weird. Talking cats and magic and monsters? But it's not like a novel, really..." She wondered how long it would take before this became normal.
"Henshin Pen? Is that what this is called?" Cybele didn't even bother to pick it back up. She would have time to look at it more later. "Why bother with the fancy words?" Instead, her fingers found the phone. "I think I can remember them, though. Does this do anything special?" She looked at it as closely as she could without pressing the buttons. She didn't want it to do anything else magical and crazy. It looked pretty normal, though, not even that high tech.
"She threw up? That's not good. Stress can do a lot of stuff to you... It's understandable though." Her examination of the phone's exterior complete, she turned back to *********. "Well, it's not like you can make them fight." Her voice held a thread of challenge... Coated with a jar of honey. She didn't really want to be insulting. "So it's only girls?" She stroked ********* ears. "Well, at least I can fight the youma now, right?"

The girl's attention had shifted to the cell phone, which meant the cat was now looking at the phone as well.
"Yuuuup... there's quite a few things it can do... but namely it is a contact device between senshi. If I had thumbs, I'd show you how to use it... but alas, I think you will need to talk to another senshi in order to get the full tutorial." She chuckled a bit before adding a sincere "Sorry about that."
The question about girls caused her ears to perk up under the girl's fingers.
"Oh... I tend to reference senshi as being female... since a majority of them are... but there are boys too... it's a bad habit, but I'm not really able to break it too easily..."

Cybele flushed a light pink again. "Oh, sorry, I kind of forgot." Her attention was still fixed on the phone, though. "I only ever saw one up close. A senshi, I mean. I've seen what they have on TV... But that's not exactly helpful for finding things out, you know? It's almost good luck you found me." Not wanting the phone to turn her into something stranger, Cybele put the it down slowly on the concrete. Once more, she scratched the cat behind the ears. Her eyes turned to the sky, though, her gaze thoughtful. " Yeah, about the thumbs... It's weird, isn't it? Well, maybe not for you, but for me... If I don't look at you, I can almost pretend you're a person." A little smile flicked across her lips, and her eyes flicked back to ********* for a second. "Then you start purring... But after everything that's happened, you haven't done anything to prove you're a normal cat, Miss *********."
Cybele shrugged, and looked ahead. It was just across the street, but she still held a determined expression in her eyes. It was important to impress the cat, she thought. "I suppose I can hunt the darkness for you, though it's hard to know where to start, you know? And I'm pretty sure you're going to vanish in just a few minutes, when you're done with me." Her eyes bored into the building across the street, but her hand was still on *********. "It could be much worse, though. I could still be normal."

"Well, regardless of whether you believe me or not... I am a cat... a simple little cat." With a slight giggle, she pulled herself away from the girl's fingers.
"I have no plans to disappear... but rather just go back to patrolling. I'll be around... but before then..." She smiled a bit. "I would imagine you'd like to know how to go back to normal yourself... since I don't think anybody wants to run around as a senshi for all eternity."
