Hearing a familiar voice, Shun glanced over to see Aymet stopping by the forge as well. He nodded to the dracolich before shrugging at Xiu. It was hard to say why they crafted the weapons if they didn't use them in the first place. Then again, it was hard to say how long ago these were made.

At the horseman's answer to his comment, the reaper gave him a rather flat stare. The fist part he could get, but the death staring bit seemed a little.. much. He couldn't be serious on that.

"My personal weapons are enough for me, but you'd be surprised how often I end up using them. Student. Or not," he replied quietly.

Well, she supposed that that was a valid enough reason. Xiu crouched down to examine one of the swords that had been set on the ground, her brows furrowed. "What do you do with all of these, then?" She piped up, reaching out to touch the weapon but stopping herself halfway. It probably wouldn't be wise to touch what wasn't hers, especially since they were only guests here.

The question about her flowers threw her off guard, though after a moment of thought, she let out a little laugh. "Point taken. I just wear them because I like them." She supposed if the Death clan liked making weapons...well, then they should be allowed to make weapons.

She pushed herself back to her feet, looking between the clansmen and Shun as the two spoke. She froze a little at the reaper's reply--particularly the end--and was quick to pitch in with a cheerful, "I've sparred with aniki before! He's good at using those daggers."

Arynek was in the forge, once again, she was interested in the black scythe she saw there. Upon arrival, she found a baku and a reaper and a undead were talking to a horseman?

"Isn't horseman supposed to be cool?" She thought.
The horseman seemed friendly enough, maybe she could approach and ask a question?

Suddenly, there was a loud ringing noise, Arynek was surprised to find that all the working members stop their work and knelt on the ground, praying. A few minutes later, another chime was heard, and they automatically stood up and continued with what they were doing.

Arynek noticed that the horseman who was talking to her classmates, she believed, also did the same thing as the remaining. As she was curious about their special behaviour, she walked towards the horseman.

"Ex....excuse me?" She interrupted the conversation with a barely heard voice.

After she drew the attention of the horseman, the shadow ghoul continued. "Would you mind telling me what happened to the ring sound? Is...is that your praying time?" She spoke with a shaky voice and her face was extremely red, contrast to her greyish white skin color.

It seemed that Arynek felt so hard to deal with males, except her Uchitels or maybe just she was not comfortable with the heat? Who knows.

On her way to the horseman, she noticed something glittering. She approached it and found that the glittering was come from the light reflection of one of the newly made shinny sword......

Chortling, the horseman patted Shun on the head. "Well, they do say a bad workman blames his tools, though it seems you enjoy yours.." The expression on his face almost seemed pitying, for a moment, and he reached out to touch one of the weapons lying around, a finger tracing the edge of the blade. While old, it was still extremely sharp- if he had slipped, just a little, he might have lost the finger.

"Beautiful, aren't these?" And yet he regarded it with clear displeasure: it was, after all, nothing compared to his own, his precious--

His attention quickly snapped back to Xiu-Ying, giving her a bright, indulging smile.

"Kitchen tools, of course. You have tasted the food here?" Perhaps, as guests, they had been given the opportunity to sample some of the better fare. He chuckled, moving to take the baku's hand as she reached out for the weapon, and dropped a single, small red gem in her palm. Of course, this was trash, a mere scrap he had picked up, but she would not know that.

"A spar, hm?" The thought did not particularly intrigue him, after all, the other guardians might even laugh if they knew he had been messing around with these students. He could simply chalk it off as 'entertaining the guests', he supposed, if it came to it. Before he could reply, or even offer a spar for fun, another student came up to him. He was really drawing them in, like moths to a flame, somewhat apt, he thought, considering the current setting. It was almost poetic.

"Yes?" The new, hooded arrival irked him on principle, after all his priestess, too, dressed in a similar, if much more fetching manner. He pulled her hood down teasingly, covering up most of her face. Momentarily he considered giving her a facetious answer, but it was a question about rituals, and he did work for a priestess after all, there was clearly no one better around to explain it.

"Unlike most of you heathens," he began, "We take this extremely seriously, prayers and rituals being a key part of our culture." And yet he had ignored the very same chiming minutes before. "We pause, at particularly auspicious times of the day, to offer our prayers and ask for blessings."

Shun twitched as the horseman patted him on the head, suddenly reminded of Lizzy. But only for a moment. He also couldn't help but narrow his eye at that look he had on his face. It was hard figuring out just what was going on in this guy's head.

"My daggers are fine. If I falter or fall, it's my own shortcomings or lack of skill," he murmured. It seemed ludicrous to him that he would blame a losing fight on his weapons of all things. Shaking his head at the thought, he glanced back to the weapon that the horseman had touched.

"They do seem to be well crafted," he answered. His gaze shifted to Xiu for a moment as she pipped up, blinking at what she said. The Reaper had no clue why she decided to say that just now, not that she had said anything bad. It just felt a little... strange.

The little explanation of the ritual was interesting in the least.

The baku wasn't really sure how to respond to the kitchen tools comment, her expression blank as she looked between the weapons, to Alke, and the back. In the end, she settled for a quiet, non-committal "oh", before going on to shake her head. "I haven't. What kind of cuisine does your clan prefer?" She seemed genuinely curious to learn as much as she could about the Death clan while she was here. It had been the same when she was visiting the Isle of Conquest.

Though it may have been mere trash to the Death clansmen, Xiu's pink eyes grew round as she examined the gem that sat in her hand. "What a pretty shade of red," She murmured, turning it over in her hands so that it could catch the light, "Aniki, Mitsu said something about the different gems having different properties, right?" The baku seemed intrigued about this, eying the little red gem in her palm. Could this one have such a property as well? And all the others that were in this room?

...Did she really want to wander about and try to learn about all these rocks and properties?

She was distracted when one of the other students suddenly posed a question, and it was with alert ears that she listened to the clans member's answer. She may have puffed out one of her cheeks at the heathens comment--it was true that they were not a part of the Death clan's religion, but to put it in such a way...!--but she chose to keep quiet.

Was it her, or did the bells continue to chime for a long period of time? Sighing, Dev once again found herself kneeling to the ground when the Clans members did the same as well. Either by luck or fate she spotted another glint of light nearby. "Hmm?" Curiously, she reached out for it.

There was another grin when she pocketed the shiny object. She stood back up. The more Dev looked around the forges, the more students she was able to discern from the Clans members working on weapons. She slowly walked near the horsemen, but was careful to keep her distance for fear of incurring their fury or be poked by the weapons or tools on accident. Ears perked up when she noticed a small group of students conversing with someone who appeared to be a horseman. Her eyes shifted toward the ghoul with long hair and a pretty dress. Hmm. She vaguely recalled seeing her at the Conquest isle. Interesting. Maybe it was time to learn her name.

She wandered over, keeping to the back of the small group as she decided to listen in. The flash of red in Xiu’s palm caught Dev’s eye, her ears twitching curiously.

Xiu's own ears pricked up slightly as she made out the sound of footsteps from behind them. Curious, she turned around and found herself facing...a ghoul? One that was vaguely familiar--she had seen her around in the passing--but not one who she was acquainted with. Perhaps she wasn't from Amityville? The smile that spread over the baku's face was friendly as she lifted her hand and waved.

"Um, hello! You...were you on the Isle of Conquest as well?" The realization had dawned on her suddenly, and she leaned back to look over the other ghoul more carefully. After a moment of silence, she smiled again, giving a little shake of her head.

"My name's Xiu-Ying, but I usually just go by Xiu! Who might you be?"

There wasn't much going in Alke's head, as a matter of fact, though he was beginning to feel slightly hungry- he really couldn't stand being in the forges for too long, especially considering the way he was dressed. Being outside suited him best, in the cold, or even out on the spires, where at least the air was fresh.

Not to mention he had already accomplished what he had come to do, bits of scrap metal jangling around in his pockets.

"Perhaps we will test that sometime," he smirked, leaning closer to Shun, dangerously close, then wheeling back to face Xiu-Ying. "My favourite dish is a rare delicacy in these parts, but I think you'd know it well... It has a rather.. dreamy taste, yes, I think that's how to best describe it, especially when glazed and roasted." With a wink he stepped backwards, away from her- clearly he had to be joking about eating bakus, or maybe that was the reason he was so taken with her..

"I'd recommend a visit to Ylaria, should you desire to know more about gems and metalwork," he suggested, finally offering up a helpful tidbit, one that they might already have known to begin with. "Though she's really rather intimidating, I wouldn't approach her without a peace offering of sorts. There's no better jewelcrafter to learn from, I'd recommend you go see her anyway-- Oh, and."

He held up a finger, as if he'd just remembered something. "I believe some of you are well enough acquainted with our dearest Heir, in fact I hear she is throwing a party for all of you guests tonight." He left them with slightly confusing directions, go up here turn left down the stairs turn right- and so on.

"It would only be good manners to come prepared, of course." One would wonder, perhaps, what he meant by prepared, but these were rowdy (possibly) teenagers, surely they knew what a party entailed? Chuckling to himself, Alke waved at them, and made his way out of the forge.

With the time at the Isle of Death running so fast with their death-like experiences, WYlfenne almost forgot there were several places they wanted to explore...

The forges: it felt almost like in the under-temple cave, with those stairs going deep, deep down, and leading into a giant opening. The fae was almost sure they would find a stock of weapons there, but strangely, most of the things scattered around were pieces of jewelry. Could it be some kind of charms?

They picked one of the pieces to examine it more carefully... The intricacy of the ornament arouse to life some half-formed thoughts.... but nothing in particular...

They could not word their suspicions. Not yet, unfortunately. They wished for a piece of advice - ironically, that would be actually guidance , but who should they go to?

Bang! Oh that was a really sudden noise. All clans members were almost united in throwing themselves on the ground to pray. Wylfenne wondered whether that was a clue...

The people were kneeling in prayer, and the fae's mind was working chaotically. Was it all a trick the Death played on them? To make them suspicious? To make them fight other Clans? To make them frightened? Were the Clans not that united as it seemed to be? Were there any tensions between them - just as there were tensions between the Clans and the Halloweeners - and was the Death Clan the instigator of it all? Since their very childhood the fae knew, if something goes wrong, terribly wrong, religion is to blame - either for not offering salvation, or for staging it all up.

Shun's eye narrowed at the horsemen as he brought his face up a bit too close for his personal comfort. Yeah, he didn't care for this guy all too much so far.

At the mention of Aisa throwing a party, he frowned. That didn't seem to be.. very characteristic of her. Granted, he didn't know the heir that well, but still. Regardless, parties were not his type of thing to attend usually. Shaking his head, he watched the clansmen go before turning to the one Xiu had talked to. Oh, it was Dev. He recognized her from the ancient battle the other day.
