Pouring herself a cup of tea, Mei relished in the steam that rose from the cup. Feeling it's warmth against her cold flesh. She let out a small sigh as it reminded her of home. When she got back she planned to call Mother and Father to see if they would send her some tea and a tea set. She missed those moments where she could sit back, relax, sip some tea and enjoy the company of the other Jiang Shi in the clan.
After she finished one cup she poured herself another. But curiously the tea pot never seemed to change in weight. Looking about to make sure no one was watching, she lifted the top to the pot and looked inside. It didn't seem to be emptying at all! But...how was that possible? Was it magic or something? She had been pouring tea into her cup so surely it would be near empty by now....
"Curious..."

Roch had decided that he would just wear the simple Chinese outfit that he had picked out for the dancing. That was about all he'd gotten out of the dance class, he might as well take advantage of it. He figured he might have to ask Invi for some more before the week was out, though.
He made sure to slip the shoes off and put the slippers on, hesitating at the door of the tea house, then shrugging. He was thirsty, okay? And if he didn't talk or wear his boots... well, maybe he could get away with it. He stepped into the room and headed for the teapot, looking determined. Cautiously he filled his cup, then stared at the teapot when it didn't get any lighter. He gulped down the tea, and poured another cup--nope, still the same weight.

He WANTED ONE, the gluttonous punk boil thought with amazement as he poured himself another cup. He wondered if it would work for snot chocolate, too!
And just like that, with a magical refilling pot, Roch forgot his problem with the tea room.

Tyalessa had noticed others had come in to the tea room area, she was thinking of getting up corauge to talk to them and see where they all came from, even drinking in large amounts of tea to calm her nerves, however she suddenly heard hushed voices coming from the next room, they didnt sound like students, were they clansmembers? They were talking in such a funny way, maybe a different language. Either they were angry about something until someone gave a cough, then they quietened down.
"if your going to talk about something secret then dont do it in a room with paper walls" Essa said so very quietly to herself, pretending to take a sip of tea

Riley returned to the tea rooms, if only because those little snacks were so delicious. She found herself an empty room and sat down on one of the pillows, munching away with her tentacles on the snacks laid out, and sipping a cup of tea. There wasn't much else to do, so she pulled her phone out, and read old text messages.
She found one from Israfel, and opened it up before she remembered what it was. A loud, blaring sound filled the room as Israfel serenaded her in a voice message.
"THE GREAAAAAATEST LOOOOVE OF AAAAAAALLL-"
She flipped her phone closed quickly, but it was too late - she cringed under the glare of the attendant, and sat there in complete silence until he looked away.
Then she stole another cookie.

The attendant turned back to glare at her more, but her expression clearly indicated that she had no reason for guilt this time. Then he flickered his gaze down to her feet, and back up to her - she followed, and cringed.
The damn shoe thing again.. she quickly removed her shoes and grabbed a pair of those slippers, putting them on. Her black socks looked ridiculous in them, and she did not care.

Riley felt confident that she had embarrassed herself at the tea pavilion enough for one day. She stood up quickly, moved to change her shoes back, and walked out - with several teacakes hidden in her tentacles. As she left, the corner of the door winked at her, and she reached down to snatch up yet another of the small tokens of currency, pocketing it on her way out.

Was that his voice? It was his voice! Making a happy giddy face, the siren went to drinking his tea with a grin, ear wings flapping. After a while he began to hum out the rest of the words, earning glares from those around. Did he care though?

Blue eyes scanned the room as he finished off his cup of tea. The tea place was nice. He liked it and wondered, briefly, if they also drank coffee. As he looked back to find his cup full again, he whispered,
"I want this because of reasons." Self filling tea cup was the best thing ever.

Conquest had style - Malodore had to give them that. Their rituals were so ornate, so beautifully observed and aesthetically elegant. Order to follow Chaos. Rule to follow anarchy. Yes, Riley had been correct in her assessment of this Clan.
The plague doctor had found itself within another of the delicate pavilions, admiring the odd style of 'gardening' this Clan espoused. It always enjoyed a bit of food, so when a simple, small table with tea and rather austere snacks was offered it, it took the opportunity. A bit of silent, measured consumption might do it well.
The snacks served were odd - just barely sweet, but with an odd, almost sandy texture. It seemed to crumble into its constituent molecules in the plague doctor's beak. Hmm....

A sharp sound caught its ears, and it tilted its head to one side - the noise felt quite out of place in this tranquil location. Indeed, there were Horsemen in the next chamber over, their silhouettes visible through the paper walls; it could not understand their words, but the mood was clear. There was definitely an angry argument going on.
After a moment, the attendant padded over and coughed - just a small sound, but its impact was obvious. The argument suddenly faded, but Malodore could still hear the whispers.
It sighed quietly. The mood was quite ruined, it felt, and it got up with a polite nod and excused itself.

An exploration of the accessible areas eventually brought her to the tea room. As always the place was stunning, every piece fit perfectly in place, which really only served to make her feel more out of place. A thoroughly roughed up patchwork body in something so fine? Not exactly part of the scenery.
"Pretty!" She caught herself saying out loud, her backwards hands flying up to cover her mouth moments after she heard her own voice bounce off the charming, well-planned walls. The attendant didn't even need to glare at her to make her realize she'd done something wrong, but of course that didn't stop them from doing it.
And making her feel even worse.

Trying to save face, Amrita cleared her throat - quietly - and wandered in to pretend to know what she was doing. Namely, to pour herself some tea. Since she had bothered to take it in the first place the only polite thing to do was drink it, but...no matter how she sipped, the cup didn't ever seem to decrease in volume.
Weird.
She kept drinking anyway, just to be sure.

Danny had no clue why she was here. Really. Not a single clue. Her RPer couldn't even come up with a reason. I mean really, why would a flame demon go anywhere near a place filled with water, when she couldn't even drink tea.
Nonetheless, Danny found herself pouring a cup of tea, because everyone else was doing it and she felt sort of dumb just standing there staring.
While she was pouring, she was so focused on the water and not spilling it that she noticed the pot always stayed full. That was neat! ... Unless all teapots did that? Danny wasn't really sure. She wasn't exactly "well-versed" in the ways of beverages.

As she sat there with her tea, awkwardly doing nothing, she couldn't help but overhear a conversation in another room. It was some sort of argument- even Danny could tell that by the angry tones. Maybe they were just really animated over a game.
Yeah no, they were probably angry.
Danny decided it was time to leave the teahouse- things were getting awkward, and really. There was no reason for her to be here.
