The runic weapons section, though nowhere near as extensive as the one back on the Island, held a large variety of weapons, each with it's own unique attributes. The assistant gave her a wry glance, "I think you have no where near enough arms for that, Red. I'll start the paperwork, you try them out and see if any of them feels right for you."
Clarice gave a small sigh as she was handed a thick stack of paperwork. Unique runic weapons took hundreds of hours to make, and were less durable than a real Hunter weapon. They weren't loaned out lightly, and those in charge of overseeing them generally tried to make the process as inconvenient and onerous as possible to weed out those who just want them, rather than actually need them.

Before stepping into the tent, she had shaken herself off much like a mangy dog, getting the snow off her coat and out of her hair.
"You can't blame a girl for tryin', miss lady." Clerise peered at the various weapons, picking each one up to inspect it before setting it back down, wondering what could possibly compare to a hoola hoop of death.
"I can pick...any of them?"
How backwards, for her to choose the weapon, rather than the other way around.
Also, it felt kind of like cheating.
Sorry, dude. You'll be my beautiful widdle butterfly soon enough.
Chains? Nope. Torches? Nope. Gun? Nope.
A pair of daggers, though. They wouldn't be so bad, maybe.
"I want these'uns." Clerise twirled them a little, hissing as she cut a finger. "Owies."

Looking up from the paperwork, Clarice smiled, "Oh, you already found some you li-" The frown turned into a small grimace, "Maybe you should hold off on the fancy stuff until you get more used to them. I'll finish this up, you go bother the supplies folks about a sheath for them, kay? I don't want you slicing yourself up on accident...again."

A gigglesnort escaped Clerise, even as she was biting her lower lip sheepishly. "I'll get Dakota to show me his moves," Clerise promised.
And it wasn't even innuendo!
Well okay. It mostly wasn't any innuendo. It was the...thought that counted?
"Sunny said she was gonna take my ********' legs if I showed up again, basically, so I have to be careful." A solemn nod. The redhead skipped over to Clarice a final time, giving her a hug-- maybe a little too tight.
"You are my favourite."
And then she skipped off.
Carefully holding the daggers. Pointing down, even.

On the verge of warning the other woman not to run with daggers, Clarice gave her a smile and turned to the next page with sigh. They really hated giving these things out.
