*her head tilted coyly to the side as she paused to look over her shoulder and back at Twill* Reaaaalllly now *she drawled softly. She was starting to wonder if the boy might just be flirting with her.....but above and beyond that she was curious. Twill seemed to be just the right mix of dark and light to pique her curiosity

"Well it would be terribly kind of me. I'm sure." he said teasing slightly. "And a gentleman can hardly allow a lady like yourself to wander about carelessly. Anything could happen to you, and I just couldn't live with myself if the worst came to pass." he said soberly.

*her eyes widened in shock. Shed been so busy with her own thoughts that she hadn't realized what she had done* oh my how terribly rude of me! I did not mean to just assume you would take on guide duties. I...I *She cast about for what she could offer in exchange, that wasnt money and didn't cheapen his services* Perhaps I could offer to help you with a problem your having. Not to say you have a lot of problems, but I mean every one does....but oh that sounds so presumptious of me. *Her rump hit the ground with a thump and her tail flopped to the ground as she looked forlornly up into the stars realizing that she was talking herself into a hole* I'm sorry *she finished lamely*

Twil raised one eyebrow. "I assure you I was teasing. It would be an honor to escort you to some of my favorite spots. No trouble at all." he sat down next to her and gently caressed her with his tail. "It's always nice to be able to help a young lady get more acquainted with herself. No need to be sorry." he smiled winningly at her.

*Gwen didn't dare look at Twil as he spoke, she kept her gaze firmly skyward as he comforted her. His words did help the panic fade from her and once more she felt the warmth of a blush rising to her cheeks at his kind words. She was begining to wonder if it might be possible to pass out from blushing too much- the stars were starting to swim in her vision so she risked a glance over towards Twill just in time to catch that lovely smile and feel his tail caress hers giving her a small thrilling chill of delight. " Is this what falling for someone feels like? Or is this just because its my first experiance alone with a boy?" she wondered to herself. She took a miniute to look at twil through lowered eyes wondering her thoughts and curious what he was thinking. Out loud she just went for it* What are you thinking about right in this moment Twil?

Twil blinked and considered carefully. He had a multitude of answers that he usually kept in reserve for just such occasions, but he always had to be cautious. So he slowed his thoughts down and looked over at the young female considering what he knew. Young, that was a flag right there, don't push it, be sweet, but don't step out of bounds. Contrary to that she seemed a little...daring, she hadn't out of hand dismissed casual contact, so she was willing to take risks. Not to mention she didn't seem to be afraid to let her dark side out and take a run on the wild side, she just didn't seem to know how to do so...or her conscious was holding her back. It was always hard to let one's inhibitions go the first time.
His mind raced before settling on neutral flirty. She was a nice girl and he didn't want to push his luck. He never intentionally ever set out to break hearts or just end up in bed. Casual encounters were two people actually connected on some level, were always better than just a casual encounter in his opinion.
"Just that it's a lovely night tonight." he said. "And you do look ravishing in the moonlight." he said somewhat casually. He hadn't been sure about using "ravishing", but it was out there now, and it was true. The moonlight did highlight the subtle differences of blue in her coat making the lighter places nearly glow.

*Gwen's eyes widened at his words, she had a feeling that what he was saying wasn't everything though- something about how he'd hesitated slightly....but nonetheless what he said nearly took her breath away* Y-your quite handsome yourself- but i'm not sure I belive that is all you were thinking, and I value honesty.... *she winced slightly sure she might have lost him here but it was importaint to her that she be able to trust him, especially if he was going to be her guide*

*Her eyes narrowed and she shook her head, and intense look comming over her face* No thats not it, I get intuitions about people sometimes, and I've learned to follow them. Its part of being a lady- being able to understand people. Just as being a gentleman means being honest. So, I'll ask again- what are/ were you thinking? *She turned her intense look onto him, her eyes shining with a sudden knowledge that belied her years.....and perhaps a yearning?*

I was thinking you look quite lovely in the moonlight, that I'd like to get to know you better...perhaps...intimately if you would." he finally said. There was no sense in denying it. If she was that intuitive lying would only make it worse.

*It was Gwens turn to blink now, and she silently blessed her lucky stars that she was sitting down. She replayed what he said in her head, once......twice.....three times. Her heart started beating rapidly, her stomache doing little flips and her breathing came fast* "Oh my.....I....I'm flattered....and just....oh my goodness" *She watched him bow his head and gently lifted a paw and caught his chin to lift his head* I.....I'm not sure what exactly you mean by intimately- but you've already been closer to me then any man before....and I...I can't help but find it thrilling * She whispered the last few words, almost ashamed to admit it*

That was a bit unexpected. He was sure a pretty girl like her would have gotten out more, but whatever. He decided not to elaborate on the intimate part. She'd draw her own conclusions eventually and that was fine.

*She sighed softly and tried to will her heart, stomach and breath to calm down, but it didn't seem to want to work. She moved her paw as he looked up and nodded. She wanted to ask what he meant by intimately- but wasn't sure she was ready to hear the answer. But she badly wanted a kiss....She swallowed hard and looked away from him*

Twil watched her curiously. When she turned away he was even more confused. "Something wrong?" he asked, he was tempted to turn her face towards him, but figured that might just make things worse.
"Perhaps we should continue along the path?" he offered as another option. Anything to break this sudden tension. "Just a suggestion."

I cannot walk yet- my stomach is in knots, my heart is racing, and I cannot catch my breath. All from the thoughts of what I want from you. SO much new and exciting is going on, and a part of me feels I should turn tail and run as far and as fast away from you as I can, but another part of me craves ever touch, and....well....craves even more, and that is frightening- and yet I cannot help it. I'm afraid." *She spoke her fear to the night as she continued looking away from him, uncertain what her reception would be now that she'd admitted most of what she was feeling*
