Mitsu listened intently, only looking at the menu long enough to figure out what she wanted before she put it aside. Her eyes trailed curiously to the object Shun set out on the table, her fingers carefully moving to unwrap it. The knife was very shiny looking, much different than Mitsu had seen.

Carefully Mitsu ran a finger along the flat side of the blade. It looked deadly. She couldn't help but remembering another blade slicing into the soft flesh of the Hunter's neck leaving a wide bleeding smile. "So you learned how to make these?" Mitsu asked curiously. "I just learned how to make jewelry. It was interesting though. The gems they have on Death isle all have a purpose or a different property they are imbued with." At least she had learned this once she had started paying attention. The first couple days were a bit of a blur, she was still a little out of it.

"I...can keep it?" Mitsu gently picked the knife up then to have a look at it, holding it like the obsidian was made of glass. Honestly she wouldn't know what to do with it. Letter opener perhaps? Not that she got many letters. "Thank you."

"The gems could do lots of things depending on which one you had. They had them all over the place. As jewelry, on their monuments, and even on their weapons. Diamonds aided in protection, Rubies amplified devotion, emeralds hold the property of health, those were seen in their weapons a lot, sapphires were for strength, also something that was on a lot of their weapons, and amethyst was for temperance. That was at least the basic ones they went over. Our teacher said there were a lot more."

Mitsu paused as she thought about the Death Clan as a whole. They were very different than she expected. "They are very..." What was the word? "Spiritual? They hold their Priestesses in high regard, its an honored position. They seem to pray a lot. When I was in the forges there was a loud clang and everyone stopped suddenly to bow and pray before there was a noise again and everyone went back to work." She was having a hard time trying to explain them. It had been a quiet, somber place which for Mitsu's state of mind hadn't necessarily been bad.

"I also tried meditation....it didn't go very well."

Clearing her mind sounded nice, it was still so jumbled with thoughts she couldn't control.

"I think so," She waited until a waiter came over to take their order getting a simple green tea with honey blend and some apple tart pastries. They looked rather good in the picture. Once the waiter was gone Mitsu focused her attention back on their conversation.

"I really don't know how good I will be at meditating. I'm still not very good with lucid dreaming." Mitsu admitted softly. She had no idea why she struggled with it but she did. Was there something wrong with her perhaps?

"So you are going to Death Isle next right? Its pretty quiet." And dark.. Kinda like here in Amity. The atmosphere had a darker edge to it though Mitsu didn't exactly expect rainbows and sunshine when it came to death. "Its going to be hard being away from you another week in a row." She seemed to deflate against the table then just thinking about it. While it was a good experience over all she didn't like to be parted from her reaper that long. Especially while he was still adjusting to not having a left eye.

"I guess so," But that didn't keep her from pouting, taking hold of Shun's hands as he reached for her's giving them a light squeeze. It wasn't that she didn't like the Valkyrie's company. In fact, despite Hel's mood, she had been the best of companions, but she wasn't Shun.

"I wonder what there is to learn in conquest," Collaboratively they would have hit three out of the four clans. Mitsu was curious as to what Famine offered and had actually signed up for it but had been moved.

"Strange? Strange as in how?" Most things had been strange because it was new. The massive amounts of incense, the prayer, the devotion to their priestesses, the mirrors, and the cavern below everything.

She sat up then as the waiter brought their order back, taking the teapot once he left and pouring them both some tea. Her own cup sat in front of her, her fingers wrapped around it but she did not sip from it yet. She would wait to see what Shun had to say.

Mitsu furrowed her brows for a moment, the mention of the deceased Hunter making her uncomfortable. She looked around almost nervously like those around them would hear but there was hardly anyone in the tea house and those who were present were minding there own business.

"N...no," Mitsu turned back around, her focus on the tea cup in her fingers. "I didn't see anything like that. Not a room at least just the books and the odd diagrams."

She tried to sip her tea but found it too hot, the liquid burning her mouth and leaving it with an odd sensation. "Do you think...what Stacey said could be true?" The was a massive amount of guilt she felt about the Hunter's death, enough that her mood was slowly slipping. "What else was in the room?"

"I wish I had been able to make sense of the books or had time to ask." Most of the horseman hadn't seem pleased about the student's presence so Mitsu had avoided them when possible. The teacher had come around by the end of class and there was a nice lady at meditation that had broken Mitsu out of her trace but other than that they seemed to mostly keep to themselves.

"I really wonder what's going on." Propping her elbows on the table Mitsu released her cup in favor of running her fingers through her hair and holding her head shortly. It was like a huge puzzle, one she wasn't even close to solving. If she could just find a starting point perhaps she could piece it together. "I feel like we are getting pulled in a direction we shouldn't be going.." She had no more insight then that, just a bad feeling that only intensified with each passing tid bit of information.

"Do you think Invictus or one of the other heirs that are here would help shed some light on this?"

"So the 1999 book might have been important then..." Maybe she should have taken it to look it over when she had a better mind to think, but that would have been so disrespectful.

"Everyone seems adamant on being vague." The Hunter certainly had been and now Invictus. Were they ever going to get answers or would they figure everything out when it was too late? "I'll keep an eye out, maybe I will learn more when I go to the Isle of Conquest."
