Yuuka sighed again. She knew she could quietly close the door and ignore the trouble outside, but her conscience wouldn't allow for it, and besides, her tea was probably cold by now anyway.

Setting the bento box down once more (which was starting to make her hungry...), she took up her parasol and strolled outside, following Ibara at a steady pace. No sense in hastening an inevitable encounter - just as there's also no sense in ruining a perfectly good skirt by kicking up mud everywhere from one's feet.

Yochi was having a hard time figthing this other horned figure. The mole lady was rusty in any kind of hands on combat, and the muddy rain allowed her little grip from both her shoes and mineral abilities. She mostly used the shovel to block and impending attacks and keep the angry looking oni a good distance away, but the danmaku was flying, indeed.

The attacks where easy enough to dodge and block, but Yochi could see the oni getting closer with every single of her steps. Pulling out a card she called,"Mineral Sign~ Shower of Treasure!" Jumping back and swiping the shovel once an intricate pinwheel like attack of various tiny danmaku bullets where sent out trying to make the enemy back off.

Unlike Yuuka, Ibara was a bit less femenine to run up the hill, but then again, the bartender always wore tough clothing with heavy working boots. Dashing up she came to see the danmaku show. Surely, if Yochi was using her danmaku cards, there had to be a worthy oponent!

Yuuka wasn't far behind, trudging up the hill beside Ibara. The light show of Danmaku beyond was impressive, and the clear use of mineral stones was sure evidence of Yochi's involvement. She watched this other Oni carefully, while closing her parasol. "Is this a friend of yours?"

The rain began to pelt her face and soak her hair and clothes, but Yuuka was far more intent on dealing with this new threat. She leveled the tip of her parasol at the Oni, following its movements, ready to blast them should the Oni become too dangerous. "I don't suppose you have any idea what's going on, Ibara..?"

The oni plowed through the danmaku, grazing the bullets .She got close enough to begin to punch at Yochi. The cave youkai jumped back, ducking from the second and blocked the third with the shovel getting a worthy dent on it. "Hey you will pay for this!"

The oni grinned and tried to bring an uppercut, but the other youkai, tilted back.

"I don't...Wait, she looks lik-" Ibara seemed to recoil, dropping down to hide behind the slope of the hill, holding her hat down against her head."Waaah what is she doing in here?!"

Yochi seemed to be getting a little slower as she continued to try and get space between her and the oni, but every hit got a bit closer. Finally the oni got a grip on the scruff of the mole's poncho as she tried to duck below. Lifting the mole off the ground she slammed her down, knocking her glasses and all air out of her.

Yochi yelped, coughing up some blood as she rolled over to try to get up, the oni kicked her over again.

"Alright, now speak." The oni laughed as the weaker youkai tried to get up despite the probably broken ribs.
Yochi only snickered in her usual manner, even as her blood dripped onto the floor. Angered the oni picked her up again.
"You are really stubborn for a leech." The oni said sounding quite impressed,"I didn't expect the surface to have a bunch of stubborn freaks like you. But you smell more like earth folk. You are weird. Stop laughing and tell me where that lady ran off to."
"Was that a compliment?" Yochi grinned, fanged as always. Though her almost-blind eyes where exposed and that annoyed her,she didn't lose her mocking sneer. That got her little, just another punch in the stomach, probably causing a damaged organ from the fact that she coughed up more blood as she got double slammed down. Broken as she was, she only laughed hollowly, still trying to get up and reach her shovel.
"That was supposed to kill you..."The oni pouted crossing her arms as she walked by Yochi to step on the shovel and snap it into two under her foot."I guess I missed hitting your neck."

Yochi actually flinched when her shovel got snapped, she would have to fix it if she lived."Be a good mole, will you?" The oni said,"Tell me where that traitor is."
"...I don't know who you are talking about."
"Don't make me hurt you." She brought her heel down on Yochi, nailing the mole to the ground, and stepping on her to prevent any escape,"Stop moving its annoying."

Ibara seemed to be in some shock of sorts, the bartender staid hidden even if her companion sounded in such predicament.

"Is there a problem?" Yuuka had proceeded over the hill, leaving Ibara behind, and interrupted the two Youkai while holding her parasol at her side like a sword. "I haven't seen you around here before, so I'll give you fair warning: My garden is not a playground. If you value your life, I suggest you leave this place at once. Oh, and do leave that little mole alone - those few who I do allow into my garden exist under my protection, her included."

The rain continued, and darkness was upon them. Yuuka's clothes were now thoroughly soaked, though her modesty was safeguarded by the red, plaid vest she wore. She combed her fingers through her hair, beginning at her brow and sweeping backwards, clearing her equally soaked hair from her face.

"Hm?" The oni looked towards Yuuka, and having heard the stories, knew well just how serious things could get. "Oi, you are the gardener right? Yeah, you ougtha be with that parasol and saying your garden ain't no playground!" The oni looked liked the standard one; carefree and drunk as hell.

"Oh? This thing yours? Sorry, didn't mean to damage private property~!" She threw Yochi at Yuuka's feet, not exactly tenderly. "Hay, To be fair, I am looking for a companion of mine, thought the here mole would tell me, since she looks like the one that said the lived with her!"

As the mole tried to get up ,now with less of a feeling that she will get kicked around more, the oni continued," She Lost a horn so she probably doesn't look oni, but she is easy to spot. If you know anything and tell me, I will take my leave peacefully, and you can tend to your pet!"

She seriously though Yochi was Yuuka's pet, or was the drunkard joking around?

"My apologies, but I know of no Oni with only one horn. And this?" Yuuka said, helping Yochi up off the muddy soil, "This is a guest of mine." She took Yochi's arm and pulled her very close, and whispered into her ear; "Be. Quiet."

She yanked Yochi around and shoved her up the hill. "Assaulting one's guest is quite rude. Normally I would punish you for that, but I'll save you the embarrassment. Leave my Garden at once, and never return."

Technically, she wasn't lying - she had never seen Ibara with any horns at all. Hopefully this annoyance would leave without further incident.

Yochi had little way to struggle with Yuuka yanking her up to her feet, and actually appreciated the help. Being quite as instructed she let the green haired woman push her up the hill, limping over the crest to find Ibara still hidden there. Understanding what Yuuka had meant she went to hide it out by the bartender.

"Ya know, having moles in a garden isn't good, they break the surface and make it all lumpy!" The oni snickered,"HEY MOLE!" She called,"Tell that traitor that Yasashii is lookin' for her! And that I will find her!"

"Uh." Yasashii put her hands at her hip, the wide shackle-bracellets she wore making the slightest noise,"You really don't like folk being around here? But the more the merrier!"

She stretched as she thought,"I have no business 'round here; I got the mole to warn that traitor. Once i find out where she is, it won't take me two minutes to end her, so, you want to drink?" She held up a gourd...where did she get it from?

"It mght easen you up~!"

"Drinking should be reserved for celebration," Yuuka replied with a wave of her hand, "And I see no reason to celebrate. However..." This Oni appearantly knew Ibara, and like so many others, had a bone to pick with her. She couldn't pass up on a chance like this, not when it might lead her to uncovering more information about the troublesome little Oni.

"What exactly did this so-called 'traitor' do to merit such a powerful opponent as you? Surely, a being of your strength and...wisdom...wouldn't waste their time hunting down trash." Beating information out of Yochi proved to be fruitless, so maybe puffing up this Oni's ego a bit might loosen her lips...

"Eh, suit yourself!" The oni laughed. Listening to Yuuka's little speech, she figured the gardener knew more than had been told to her off the bat, so, she would play the game. She was drunk not dumb!

"Hay,hay! She killed my sister! So, now that I have heard news off her, I figure I will come out here and give her the justice she escaped!" Yasashii stopped before adding," Well they exiled her, but that's not enough when you level the town and kill someone!"

"I see. Well, you'll find no Oni here - aside from yourself, that is. So unless you feel like dulling out justice on yourself, then I suggest you leave. Perhaps that Shrine Maiden would offer you assistance? I'm sure she would love to help such a worthy cause..." By 'help', she meant 'blast your Oni a** back into the underground'.

With the information she wanted, Yuuka turned her back on the Oni, resting the closed parasol on her shoulder. "Begone."
PostPosted: Thu Apr 12, 2012 4:30 pm

"How do you even pull justice on yourself..?" the oni thought outloud like the distracted drunk she was,"Hai! A shrine maiden?! Maybe she knows where the oni ran off to!" Yasahii waved turning to run,"See ya some other time green lady~!"

She dashed away, at this rate, she would end up lead to Suika or something. The oni folk where really comming out of their hole now.

Yochi's sensible ears could hear the heavy steps running away. She had her eyes closed, since her glasses had been left in the battle, and the meager light was annoying her a bit. "Mh, she left." She was craddling her side, but otherwise, she seemed relatively fine, in fact, she looked unscathed. Merely because all the damage must have been internal and she had drops of blood that she had coughed up.

That was easier than Yuuka had hoped. She knew her companions were in no condition to assist her, and the idea of fending off another ground-dweller was not pleasing at all.

Yuuka walked back up the reverse side of the hill, her footsteps creating a series of 'squish' noises in the wet soil. She knelt down beside Yochi, placing a hand on the mole's shoulder. "Are you okay? Ibara, why haven't you tend-" she looked over to Ibara, still huddled down against the hillside. "...You still haven't moved? What's wrong with you?"
PostPosted: Thu Apr 12, 2012 5:31 pm

Yochi nodded, "Yeah I am fine, nothing I haven't gotten before." The closed-eyed youkai nodded , not really showing any pain, she was still grinning sligthly.

"Is she gone?" Ibara looked over at last, she seemed to have zoned out quite a bit.

"Yeah, thanks for the help man, really," the mole scoffed a bit, though she was just as concerned about the other oni looking a bit out of it," So...killed her sister did you?"

Sharped eared, she heard the oni talk about the reasons to be looking for Ibara.

"Ye-eah...she really, really, looks like her-" Ibara gulped a bit.

She listened to the two banter; so that was why Ibara froze. It was probably like seeing a ghost from the past for her. Standing up, Yuuka sighed, placing a hand on her hip. "You two are becoming more trouble than you're worth. I swear..."

"I'm going home." she said, walking back down the hill, toward her garden. "You both are welcome to follow, just...don't bring any more 'friends'." She didn't bother with her parasol, already being soaked by the rain. "Oh, and please don't track any mud."
