“Thank you” Athene nodded at the Knight. “Since ********* upgraded my henshin pen my senshi ability seems to work a lot better these days” he smiled ruefully. “Not that I’m taking it for granted.” After all in the past his ability had sometimes chosen to fizzle out at the worst possible time.

“That reminds me, I’ve been invited to be part of a team.” They hadn’t met or anything and apart from Polaris, Athene had no idea of who the other members were, but he was looking forward to finding out, albeit a little nervous.

Athene nodded “I’m going to do my best to do my part for the team. Although that doesn’t mean I won’t still help others out as best I can.” The dark-haired senshi had spent a fair deal of his time as a base senshi just 'muddling through' things and it didn't really seem right for him to leave others to do the same if there was something he could do to help out.

He gave Camelot a rueful smile “I should probably be heading home though, it’s pretty late.” The dark-haired senshi hadn’t factored in fighting three youmas into his patrol night and it probably wouldn’t be a good thing for him to end up falling asleep at school. “It’s been nice seeing you again Camelot.”

After waving a goodbye to the Knight, Athene started on the walk back home while privately hoping that the trip back would be less eventful.
