"This is my daughter." Hal replied. "I think she was electrocuted. She needs help. Now!"

The doctors weren't about to question their hometown hero having a daughter who wasn't on record. The second doctor, Dr. Michel (OOC: Hehe, Mass Effect reference) asked:
"Electrocuted? God; how badly?"
"User was electrocuted with approximately 2,000 volts of electricity at 100 milliamp current," Carlie's ring replied, and the doctors' eyes all widened.
"Good God!" said Dr Michel. "Get this girl to ICU, now!"
The first doctor picked Carlie up and hurried off, with the others scrambling to find the proper equipment to deal with electrocution; while they had the equipment, people coming in for treatment for electric shock wasn't something they got often. As they went about what they were doing, Doctor Michel looked to Hal.
"Green Lantern, we'll do everything in our power to save this girl, if she is your daughter. It's the least we can do for everything you've done for us," she said.

Hal nodded and let out a sigh that was...shaky. "Just....help her. Please."

"We will. And GL, there's... I think at least a hundred regulations we're breaking by doing this... No name, no insurance, no previous medical history... But you're worth it," Dr. Michel said, and she walked off, leaving Hal alone.
A young boy walked up to Hal, looking at him with wide eyes.
"Mister Green Lantern, sir?" the boy asked meekly, "Is that girl gonna be okay?"

Hal looked down at the child and gently shook his head, giving him a small, convident smile. "She will be." he replied, then glanced back down the hall. His smile fading. "......she will be."

The boy nodded and went back to his mother. Meanwhile, the doctors managed to get Carlie defribilliated and worked to stabilize her condition, giving her anesthetics via an IV drip, as well as other medicines.

Hal, meanwhile, anxiously sat out in the waiting room. His arms leaning on his legs, and his hands rubbing nervously. After a few moments of trying to calm himself down, and telling himself that his only daughter would be alright by herself here in the hospital, he got up and left. Heading out the door and flying back for the scene of the incident.
Sure Carol probably had the woman's neck wrapped around streetlamp by now, but he didn't want to carry his wife back in the same condition as Carlie.

Inertia "I'm one bad B**ch "Haha, tha's wha' erybudy says!" Laughed Inertia as she finished draining the power grid and took a few steps forward before taking off in a blur of momentum increased speed. Before she could blink, Carol would have the tall mutant in her face throwing punches and kicks backed with powerful electrical charges on her skin. The mother would likely not be surprised by the ferocity of the attack, based on the behavior of Inertia from earlier.
And don't you doubt it!"

(("... likely not be surprised"?)) Carol was caught off guard by Inertia's speed, and suffered several blows to the body; the force-field that outlined her body due to her ring absorbed most of the electrical discharge, but Carol was still affected... before she backed up, got her bearings, and created a series of energy ropes to bind Inertia with before slamming her down into the street several times.

Inertia "I'm one bad B**ch Inertia cursed violently as she was slammed into the pavement, but on the second impact, released a massive storm of electricity, one which was powerfull enough to possibly break through Carol's force-field all together. It would no doubt break the Lantern's concentration long enough for the mutant to escape from the violet ropes and redouble her attack on the Motherly hero. Her next strategy was to leap into a yard, which had a few sports accessories left in the yard by the kids residing in that yard's home and recovering the metal baseball bat, before returning to the fight and swinging the makeshift weapon with momentum enhanced speed and strength at the limbs and head of Inertia's opponent.
(((not surprised by the ferocity, but the speed of the assault was very surprising))) And don't you doubt it!"

((The forcefield around her is able to protect her from things like solar radiation and particles travelling through space at thousands of miles an hour. An electrical discharge wouldn't do much to the force-field, or at least that's what I'm assuming, though Carol would be blown back-- since even with that forcefield outlining her body, she's not immune to the laws of physics completely.))
After righting herself after being buffeted by the force of the discharge, Carol just scoffed. The b***h was coming at her with a baseball bat?!
She simply flew higher into the air, since she figured Inertia was unable to fly, and started using her ring to grab various objects lying around and fling them with a lot of force at Inertia; the first one? The very bat Inertia was holding, which Carol used her ring to grip and smash into Inertia's face.
She could see out of the corner of her eye that Hal was returning. Good, she figured, since she was fairly certain Hal would want a piece of this spiteful hellspawn as well.

Inertia "I'm one bad B**ch Cursing violently as the bat smashed into her mask with enough force to crack it, Inertia let go and fell backwards, scuttling away from the possessed weapon. Somersaulting back to her feet, the mutant's mask started to chip away near her left eye, revealing the pale skin and yellow orb beneath. Screaming with rage, Inertia threw her hand forward, discharging a stream of powerfull electricity into her former makeshift weapon, which became a mangled piece of metal from the surge. She then turned to Carol and the incoming objects. Blasting the first few to come within range, the mutant then blurred as she gained speed and flew(not literally) towards the Lantern, jumping when she came close enough. The arc of her leap brought Inertia into a collision course with Carol, her intent, to tackle the hag to the ground and beat the living s**t out of her.
(((And hence only possibly could the discharge of broken it, though that possibility was very unlikely.))) And don't you doubt it!"

Carol's eyes widened, and she had enough time to say: "Aw s**t!" before she was tackled by Inertia; however, she managed to rollwith the tackle without even actually meaning to, so that when the landed, she was the one on top. Realizing that being so close to a very pissed off giant mutant wasn't the best idea for someone with a ranged weapon, and so she quickly flew back up into the air and sent a powerful blast of violet energy down toward Inertia.

Inertia "I'm one bad B**ch Surprised to have ended up on the bottom, Inertia was momentarily still, long enough for Carol to escape and blast her with the violet energy of her ring, creating a crater in the cement. The blast caused the mutant's mask to fracture even more, revealing more of the pale, purplish skin beneath. After the blast, Inertia groaned shortly then exploded out of the crater with a powerfull electrical charge on each fist. From her left eye over, Intertia's mask had fallen off and exposed part of the mutant's face, which was more beautiful than one would think. The lantern had broken her mask, for which Inertia had downright murder on her mind. The assault was even more frenzied and angry now, just punch after momentum increased punch.
And don't you doubt it!"

A band of green energy wrapped itself around the livid woman's ankle and immediately jerked her downward and away from Carol. Hal "stood" a couple feet in the air above Carol, staring down at the two women with a heavy frown.
He wanted to lasso the woman around her neck for what she had done to his daughter and just squeeze until it went clean through.
