Mitsu had heard tale of there being a library on the Death Isle, her only obstacle was finding it. Her poor sense of direction could only last so long but thankfully she had Hel to steer her now and then. If it was left up to the lycan they would have been lost to sea somehow or another.

Turning down a hall Mitsu paused as she began to sniff. She recognized the scent of old leather and parchment. The library wasn't far off. From there she was at least able to follow her nose which was a much better guide than her just picking a direction. Finally they arrived and Mitsu marveled at the large open room and domed ceiling. There were so many books! So many things to read.

"I wonder what all they have~ Do you think they will have different books than we do in Amity, Hel?" The lycan looked excited, like a scareling on Christmastival day.

"Yep! It might be worth a look if you wanna find treasures and stuff," he said with a shrug of his unoccupied shoulder. At the most he might want to find things to take home to Lark and other friends as gifts just because he was a good guy that way. If Ace ended up not finding anything Kettil'd probably end up apologizing a lot for the snafu in assumptions he had made about the activity.

Just not too much apologizing.

"Hello dearest E--VUAWHGK!~," then she let out a most undignified squawk of surprise as she suddenly took wing and flew up to a higher bookshelf to defend herself from the fright she just suffered. The sound caused Kettil to jump and peer over at the very close boil with puppy-dog features.

"...Uh...Hiya?" Kettil offered uncertainly. He gave Ev a glance and he looked perplexed as if asking her what to do. He certainly wasn't upset by this. Just very confused.

"Gracious!" Endzela muttered as she shook herself out, "you certainly pop up out of nowhere."

"Oh, how delightful~" Ev replied to the demon, smiling softly to him, " I certainly hope that you enjoy it once you arrive. Will you be joining our small group during the duration of this week?" she asked curiously, sparing a glance to Kettil as if he may have already invited the boil into their pack. But she redirected her attention straight back to Ace, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ace~ I am Evelyne-Aglaya Yeva Verochka, but please feel free to call me by Ev."

She would have went on, asking more questions, but was taken aback by the screech given by Endzela. Looking over, her moths 'jumping' in shock as well, the ghoul spied the canine who was... taking up quite a bit of personal space. Not that Ev didn't do the same. Noticing Kettil's look of uncertainty, she decided to take over.

"Hello there~" she addressed the pup, "I believe I saw you before. Have you come to admire the grand library as well?" A few of her moths flitted up, just two actually, to meet with Endy, perching on her to offer the comfort that the ghoul could not.

Such a pretty bird. phos knew it was a pretty bird, even when it looked scared and alarmed. The pup made great big green googly eyes when it fluttered at him and his tail was swishing more with the action. it was almost unfair that he had to leave his scruffle behind, he was sure Regal wold have enjoyed seeing all this.

But the hyperactive boil found his attention distracted by the owl's caretaker in which Phos flung himself at the reaper in joy of the hello. "Hi hi! you have a pretty burd and i am jealous. My names Phos, s'nice ta meetcha! SQUIRREL!!" he almost yipped and turned his head as something quickly ran past a bookshelf. Anything that is fast and barely seen meant a squirrel, where was Shehk when he needed her.

But grabbing the innocent pup's attention was hard with this personality as he darted to the next one to address him, the ghoul and her fluttering insects. They were pretty to. "Hi hi!" he barked out eagerly and went to run around her in circles, sniffing the air and trying to keep the scent memorized for later reference. "Yes yes, i wanted to look at books and study, but then i saw the birdy." he began to chatter quickly and ran around her even faster. "What's your name?" he managed to say coherently, seeing as how the hellhound managed to stay still for a few seconds now that scent retrieval was done.

Lumi had found the dorms, but she wasn't sure she wanted to be in that place just yet. It just seemed a waste to be in the dorms when you were in a new place. She had wandered a bit more to find a very ornate building. She had found herself in a very quiet and secluded area of the library but could hear voices filtering through very softly. Her ears twitching slightly as she ran her fingers over the old books.

This would be the second place that Mei had explored today. The petite Jiang Shi preferred to keep herself busy than just lolligagging around the island like some kind of bum. She might of ended up stumbling into some place that she wasn't suppose to be.

As she entered the library it seemed to be decorated in the same aspect as the rest of the island. Dark, simplistic. But this place was large. Much larger than she had expected from first glance of the outside.

She noted the various other students who were about but decided to head towards the back of the library. A little bit away from the collective. Coming up to a bookshelf she ran her fingers along the musty smelling books and wondered curiously to herself if perhaps the Death Clans kept books about the different races that were in Amityville. Were there any about Jiang Shi that she hadn't read before?

Picking out a singular book that seemed to call to her, the ghoul flipped through the pages. Eyeing the random scratching words scrawled across it's pages and strange diagrams that she found every other page. She couldn't make out what most of it was saying or quite understand the logic behind the diagrams.

Were all the books like this?

Something caught her attention out of the corner of her eye. A glinting light that seemed strange and out of place.

Any other time, getting lost would have annoyed Hel, but seeing was they were somewhere new, she didn’t mind it so much. Oddly, the ghoul would be seen just trailing after the Lycan with her hands laced behind her head as she casually strolled. Hel swayed every now and then as she adjusted to not having wings to balance out anymore, and had fought to get her hands to come above her shoulders, as the wounds on her back still ached in protest.

Ah well.

Hel wasn’t so thrilled about the library, but hey, it was worth to look. Once they arrived though…well…Hel was impressed. Not only was the architecture gorgeous, it was huge. Hel let out a bit of an impressed whistle, and then looked at Mitsu. “Uh, I think they will have all the books Amity has, and then twenty times that amount more in different subjects.” Sweet Sally. “I think one could fit fifty Amityville libraries in here!”

The ghoul also couldn’t help but note all the new faces once more. “…I think it is intriguing to see all these students from different schools.”

The room was rather expansive and inviting. At least to Mitsu. It was like the books were calling to her and the happy expression at least lasted for a little while until she moved forward to explore what there was to read. Some of the text were written in languages she couldn't understand but she looked them over all the same.

Students? Mitsu looked around at the other students in the area, most of who she didn't recognize. "Do you think some of them will come to Amity after this?"

The next book Mitsu picked up made her freeze. 1999. Why was that familiar? She flipped the book open but there was nothing inside that she could make out. It was full of diagrams and odd letters.

Mitsu was rather caught up in what she was reading, or attempting to read, when she noticed a glint of light from where she had picked up the book. It looked like it was just a buckle though, reflecting the lighting from above. She looked at it for only a moment before she stared at the book again.

"Do you think they would let us borrow books from here?" They probably couldn't take them back home but she was curious if she could take them back to their temporary dorm to look over.

Kettil offered an amused chuckle, "I'm Kettil and my 'bird' is named Endzela," he was slowly starting to relax around the boil despite his hectic behavior patterns. He wasn't sure what to make of it or the sudden desire for furry rodents but whatever. The boil noticed a couple of others start filing into the library. Maybe they should make an effort to be quieter?

This is a library after all.

Endzela peered down at the pup and watched him for a bit seeming quite content to hang with Moths for a few seconds before she took wing again this time flying her way to the floor and owl-waddling up to the weird hyper boil when he finally stood still for a second and just stared up at him. Well he said she was pretty and thus that meant he wouldn't harm her, "E-Excuse me but why did you suddenly appear in front of me like that."

Moure, for some reason, hadn't been completely expecting to see such a fancy library in on the Death Island. He paused when he realized that some of the other exchange students were already inside, thinking for a moment about if he wanted to enter or not. After a moment of silent deliberation, Moure moved inside.

The room was a lot more detailed than he'd thought originally. A glance at the ceiling confirmed that their was hidden depth to the intricate-workings of the Death Clan's informational room. The books looked ancient as well.

Moure flinched slightly when he heard some of the other students chattering away loudly. In the Library. Of the Death Clan.

Mentally the patchwork facepalmed.

On the outside though, Moure continued to calmly glance around at the bookshelves.

Moure ran a stitched finger over the spine of the nearest book, curiosity of what the Death books were like overcoming his wariness. He unshelved the book, brushing over it's cover with one hand. He tipped his head, glancing over the front before slowly pulling back the over to reveal the pages.

He might as well have been looking at a different language. Actually, he was. The glyphs enscribed in the book might as well as been chickenscratch, and it had the patchwork's mind churning. There were charts, along with the number '1999', but besides that, Moure could understand pretty much nothing of the Horsemen language. At least graphs were interesting.

Then, he spotted something in the corner of his eye, something that could've just been a glint of light on anything in the room. What was it...?

Apparently nothing, for when the patchwork glanced over again, the glint was gone. Must've been a trick of the light, then. Distraction lost, Moure returned his attention to the book in his hands. Well, the charts anyway, since he couldn't understand anything else in it.

The Library
61 - 80: You see a Clans member, entirely covered in a black cloak walk past you: one of the Clans priestesses. She seems to be in a hurry though.

Lumi had turned a corner to see a clans member rush past her.

"odd..."

She said softly, this whole place seemed to have priestesses everywhere, and they always seemed to be in such a hurry. She had an inkling to try and follow the priestess but something compelled her to continue looking through the library. Possibly see where the voices were floating in from. It never hurt to learn a little bit more about those she would be sharing dorms with for a week.

The Library
41 - 60: You notice a clansmember scouring the archives, his arms full of books. He has several books that actually have letters on them, though they simply state "The Teachings of the Path of Death." Boring.

As Lumi made her way towards the sound of voices she saw another clansmember. Cocking her head to the side she wondered if asking to help might constitute as meddling in their affairs. As she stood contemplating this idea she didn't realise she was slowly walking towards him. Reaching some stairs close to the clansmember she saw the books he was holding,

"hm...maybe I'll find something else...that looks a little to dry for me..."

Turning swiftly before the clansmember could see her she proceeded to the open area of the library where the voices were filtering out of.
