Yes.. i wanna do a super hammerhead, i am just obsessed with hammer heads... see, i had this crazy idea, like to put the rail rifle that hammer heads normally come with and place that there, then get extra gundrone pieces for the mounts where they normally have the burst cannons, then, get some broad side rail rifles, then exchange the burst cannons with the rail rifles, convert them of course to make them a little smaller. Then, get more rail rifles, then mount 2 more, as frontal rail rifles, and have it to where... ok, see, i need the broad side ones again, and this will be twin linked... but it will be onto the back part... that flat lying area on both sides of the Tank's rail rifle...  you see how on the back side of it right behind the rifle, it has that flat lying space? imma stick a rail rifle on each side, then, you know the other broad sides that you can get from the imperial armor? imma use 2 of those ammo things from the broad side. Course, ill do this when i get rich... or i just get enough money to blow on it... but me have super hammer head.... 3nodding but only one ordance blast on it crying ohh well, 3 rail rifle shots normally... and a re roll if it misses.... then the ordance blast... blaugh Death from above!!! But course, i need to do more to it besides just add rifles... me wanna make it super... make it look cool... like steal parts from other races and just glue some where on it... i wish i had more room to work with tho on the HH... well, ill see what i can do else... i got to make it look belivable... Isis? Aruelius? any body? any thoughts and helpfull ideas?

Well if you have seen the new tau stealth suits or any of the forge world models a lot of them look very curved and stream-lined. You could work out a new "nicer" looking turret....I have never been fond of the turret just kind of sitting up on there with the rest of the tank looking curved and awesome. It just doesn't match. Make a really nice turret mount for your riffles.

Well for one thing right now if you look at the pic it looks like the little knot on top of baseball caps....for the nifty sleek tank it looks how shall I say....retarded. I would take off the large turret and finish the arc on the tank smoothing it out a bit. Then work on making more of a seamless integration between tank and weapon mounts......I'd also add another rail gun, right now it looks like the tank would be listing in a the air with the weight of the gun only on one side... try to balance it out some. I think with these mods it will look like a tau tank instead of a transport with guns.
Mwahaha I say, yet another evil creation has spawned from my brain and this time it takes the form of The Emperors Champion. I just got finished building him, I'll have before and after shots up soon.

My advice is (simmilar to Isis') remove the 'n****e' from atop of the turret and replace it with the disc from a gun drone or something that is a similar size but sticks out less. cut out the underside of the railgun and glue it straight onto the turret 'nest'

Changing that will be key to redesigning the turret.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I'd go so far as completely redesigning it, just flattening it down and making it more streamline.
You could glue the gun o the turret indentation and build a plasticard 'housing' for it so that it's inside the turret.
But the problem is that the Railgun uses kinetic energy and electromagnets. (Dunno why I'm explaining this we all know how they work) and they do generate a lot of heat.
Trust me, My firned and I built a small working model of a prototype railgun, it fired nails!

Fun stuff nail guns rule ! I redesign every thing, that just what I do. I may try this conversion on my own hammer head. The technical specks for the design are cool, but i don't think the judges at say a rouge trader tourney know that stuff to say " hey, you know you didn't leave enough cooling room in your design and your tank is gonna explode if you role a one." It just needs to look cool.

Hey arelius, are you a genius or something? or you seem pretty old, one or the other, but uhh, mind PMing me about how you got the Nail gun to work? twisted . but yea... you need to be able to take the Rail gun off for mobilty, and what if your playing a small point battle?

Ehehe.. Im not good at makeing things that come apart cause I design every thing to be solid and not to break... I also never field my Tank with out the rail gun. sweatdrop

Eh hee... unfortunatly I didn't build any of the Tau I have, sooooooo I have to work with what I got for now. The guy made everything static.... nothing moves or opens... I cant fix that with out destroying my new paint job. crying ( wish I new about the glue befor I painted it stressed )

Ahh yes, make dem prurty full. All you really need to do, is um... ok i dont know what they look like and what shape, so i couldn't help you with that, but what you can do, is NOT go kroot crazy, maybe about 3 squads is all you will ever really need... Truley, im not lying XP There are just so many of them, and you never see any really good tournemants for 3500, so, just get maybe3, course im going to end up getting more then that, cuz im a pure tau player......
