The more she swung her sword the more confident she was starting to feel. The attacking familiars were starting to get easier to knock back.

Alright, maybe no so much easier. The familiars surrounded Mei, biting and nipping at her ankles. Trying to knock her back down to the ground.

Tripping over her own foot trying to kick the familiars away, Mei stumbled to the floor again. The familiars swarming all over her biting and scratching as she curled up into a fetal position.

Mei tried to give it one last go. She managed to knock some of the familiars senseless, but sadly her HP had hit 0 and POOF she was out of the room and would have to try again another day.
