The magical ghoul doubled over and stumbled several steps back. She took a quick swipe at Roch with her spear, just to try to get some space, and managed a light blow, but that was all she could do for a moment as she tried not to fall to the ground. If the boil tried to come closer, she would just have to keep him away with the patent Mitzi Death Glare, because there really wasn't much else she could use at the moment.

"C'mon, Mitz, I don't wanna hurt you, y'know that, right?" he said, holding out a hand to her. "Let's get you to Cricket's and see if she can't heal you--or me, whichever of us is screwed up at the moment, okay? Or how about a movie? You an' me can go back to my room, curl up on the bed and watch stupid movies together! Or even do some karaoke! You can keep the outfit on, I don't mind!"

The ghoul finally managed to straighten up again. Any other time, she probably would have taken his offer instantly (well, on the condition she could go change - as much as she liked ribbons and bows, she did not need to commit social suicide by wearing this many of them willingly). But right now, the soul gem was doing the talking, and Roch was corrupted. He had to be cleansed. Mitzi herself only got say on how she interpreted that.
As she took an offensive pose again, she was still panting, but clearly Not Happy. "I will... purify... your pain. I do not... need... to be healed!" And with that she was running forward again, one hand outstretched as light gathered around it. Once again Roch was hit with a beam of sparkles and trinkets and bows, and Mitzi was in there as well, swiping at him with her spear.

Roch grunted with the hit, wondering if maybe, just maybe he had missed something and there was a string that could be cut. Then again, there weren't any massive hands in the sky at the moment, right?
He shoved the staff away from him and reached out, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her. "Stop that," he told her, sounding like a parent. "You're gonna get hurt!"

Magical Mitzi tried to dodge backwards as Roch pushed her spear away and dodged in close, too close for her weapon to be much good. It didn't help, though, leaving her to yelp as he grabbed her shoulders. There wasn't anything she could do except struggle to break free as he shook her. She couldn't just "stop that"! She had to help him!

He tugged her closer, looking her in the eyes. "C'mon, Mitzi, look at me," he ordered, tugging her into a full out, hard hug. It was enough to threaten her FEAR shield. It was more restraining than it was affectionate. "You're one of my ghouls, and a first year, I really hate hurtin' you like this."

She struggled against him, trying to break free, but it was in vain. "Let... me... go..." she managed to choke out, almost struggling to breathe enough to speak, but it wasn't helping at all.

He squeezed her for a second, not letting go and staring her straight in the eyes. "Mitzi, I might be a lil evil, I'll admit it, but I ain't gonna be purged anytime soon. At least not by a first year. Now wake up, screech, and go back to bein' you."

That's the thing... she couldn't wake up from it. Not on her own. And really, she didn't want Roch to change, or at least normal Mitzi didn't. And Magical Mitzi was crazy. But Magical Mitzi was still the one the boil had to deal with.
She kept trying to break free, but her struggles were getting weaker.

He really didn't want to do it, he thought, especially when they weren't in the gym. Maybe he could just... hug her till she was unconscious, Roch thought, tightening his hold again.
"Mitzi, I'm sorry, I'm gonna haveta knock you out," he told her gently. "But I'll make sure you get to Cricket's afterwards and all that, okay, screech?" he asked. It was like dealing with a rabid child in his mind. Which was probably offensive--but he'd been a first year before, as well. She would get stronger.
He was just glad it wasn't yet.

She was barely able to fight back at all at this point, although that didn't stop her from trying. The ghoul was definitely getting weaker, though, her struggles becoming somewhat lethargic and almost infrequent.
She'd probably thank him later for making sure no one else saw her like this, or she would if he hadn't taken those pictures.

"I'm sorry, Mitzi," he said, leaning down and pressing a kiss to her forehead at the same time he shattered her FEAR shield with a blow to the back with his guitar. "I'll take you to Cricket's, screechie, you'll be okay."
Then he picked her up in a princess hold and headed for the infirmity.

With an "Ooof," the Reaper ghoul passed out against him. As she lost consciousness, the entirely overcomplicated outfit shifted suddenly back to her normal clothes, and her spear dissipated completely. She returned entirely to how she had been before, even down to the bruises from her spar the other day. At least now that she'd be getting a full look-over in the infirmary, she'd probably be able to get those taken care of too.
