When her hands dropped back down, she used one of her fists to rub at her eye, then nodded. Must be because I'm not paying attention. Can't keep myself awake if I get distracted. Yes, I will be there through you. Yes. Her head slowly started dropping down to his shoulder again, eventually pressing against it. Make sure you keep an eye on Shun. Jericho felt a little bad there. She was letting herself fall asleep by talking to him. And it happened again soon after she started to speak again. But.. he got the jist of what she was saying. Keep an eye on the Reaper. He could be on their side but just as easily he could be an enemy. A traitor. The dragon was very aware of this. And damn if he let the hunters take someone again so close to home.

His words roused her just enough to hear them, and she groaned slightly when she realized she was drifting off over and over. It was just very hard.. to stay awake.. when something this warm was sitting beside you, keeping you company. It was hard to fret and worry about being attacked when you weren't alone. In fact, the mere thought of warmth and cuddles made Riley wrap her arms around Jericho like a stuffed animal, and cuddle him relentlessly around the middle. She used him like a pillow, and started to fall back asleep, after muttering one bubbly, almost childish sounding response.

There was a weak smile there as Jericho watched Riley cling and cuddle him like he was some large teddy dragon. He patted her lightly on the head, quietly. She seemed like the needed the sleep pretty badly, so he wasn't about to disturb her on that front. He would let her rest as long as she needed it.
