((Really, Falcon? XD))
You would think, being so concentrated on speed, that the colt would keep up with his brother. As it turned out, hearing his sister stumble startled him, and the second it took him to look over his shoulder to see what happened costed him dearly - he too tripped, skidding to a halt on the dirt as he tumbled in a mess of legs and wings. With a groan he rolled onto his side, panting heavily as he struggled to get up.
Two thoughts hit him: one, he'd lost badly; two, he was dirty. Ears tilted back with a soft whinny, he followed after his sister, trying his best to shake off the excess gunk until they both reached the tree after Fairbreeze. "Well that was embarrassing," he mumbled. "So . . . Fairbreeze wins I guess. What's the winner want?"

Kaliri nosed Falcon in concern as he got to his feet "Are you alright?" She asked, sure she had tripped but Falcon had fallen down completely and although he seemed to be fine she thought she would ask just to make sure. Fairbreeze is seemed was the clear cut winner - though he looked quite tired himself.
"I know what I want" She declared, fluffing her wings slightly "A drink" The stream wasn't too far off, though even the thought of walking that far after such a long run was a bit of a daunting thought "...but maybe after a bit of a rest to catch our breath.."

The moment Fairbreeze reached the tree and claimed his victory his legs collapsed underneath him and he fell to the ground hard. He should have been celebrating his win but instead he spent the next few moments just trying to catch his breath and keep his legs from trembling from the strain he had put on them. Slowly he began to feel less exhausted so he rolled onto his belly and looked at his siblings. "The winner..." He puffed. "Wants to rest...for a bit." They were all beat and dirty and would need some rest to recover from such a hard run. "Kaliri, are you alright?" Though she hadn't actually fell he wanted to make sure she wasn't hurt.
Then he looked over at Falcon, who had actually fallen at the end, "What about you Falcon, are you okay?" Mother would be upset if any of them were hurt. He was uninjured, though his legs felt like mush at the moment, and he probably would have a couple bruises from his victory crash. The mention of a drink made Falcon realize just how thirsty he was as well. "Yes...a drink would be nice Kaliri...after a rest." Fially he was able to muster up enough energy to get back on his feet, albeit a bit shakily.

"Rest. Yeah. I'm good for that." Giving Kaliri a reassuring prod of his snout, Falcon made his wobbly way over to Fairbreeze and collapsed once he was fully under the shade. "Don't . . . think I could make it to the river right now," he huffed, tossing his head so that the longer bangs didn't cover his eyes. "But that was awesome, right? Good race. Should do it again sometime . . . with the tiny ones."
And the colt got this evil grin on his face like one of those good ol' fashion cheesy villains concocting an ingenious plot. Yes, he was back on that thought once again.
"I bet we could circle the tree three times before they got halfway!" he managed to boast despite his out of breath self.
