Mei watched as the two argued with each other, finding it all too amusing. It had always been like this..Kingsbane scolding the reaper, Fell arguing right back, and Mei watching from the sidelines. "Hey Kingsbane, go easy on her. Maybe its you who's at fault?"

At that the soul eater spun around, whipping his tail right at Mei. To say he had grown tired of her jabs at him would be an understatement. He despised the broken doll.
"Hey hey! No need to get violent, King!" She whispered back harshly, elbowing her pact partner in the ribs and was rewarded with a harsh glare.
:Its a battle and she's your opponent! Quit fooling around and start taking things seriously!:

Mei took a step back when the soul eater whipped with his tail. It appeared that she had pissed him off this time. Well, fine. She was sick of him anyways. He was an annoying little sack of bones who always blamed everyone but himself. He was always on Fell's back about something, and she had enough of it.
Kicking him before he got out of reach, Mei folded her arms and stared at Kingsbane. "Seems I struck a nerve."

Kingsbane felt the kick and craned his neck around to glare at the broken doll, snapping at her. Apparently he had enough of her too.

The soul eater snarled, snaking through the air like a determined predator. But thanks to Mei's quickness, he sailed past her each time. Fell on the other hand, was absentmindedly checking the damage to her palms.
"Yep. Gonna' be a b***h to write that paper now." She repeated. This time loud enough for the other two to hear.
:PAPER!?: The soul eater all but screeched. :You told me you finished that this morning!:
There was a sheepish grin from the grim reaper as she looked at the two of them, and shrugged.
"Okay. So I lied..?"

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? She--but she--"you have a paper to write?!" Oh, she should have known Fell would pull a stunt like this! Walking over, the doll swatted the reaper ghoul on the back of the head. "When is it due?"

Spotting an opening, the grim reaper grinned and rushed the broken doll; delivering a swift kick to the side.
"Come on, guys!" She started in an exasperated tone. "You should know me this well by now. Since when do I finish school papers on time?" She asked, adding a tiny, sweet, innocent smile to try and smooth things over with the two.
It didn't work.
:Get your a** back to your dorm and work on that paper!: He snapped, lashing his tail to the side.

Taking the blow from the reaper, Mei managed to deal some damage of her own in retaliation.
What she said was very true. Fell was always like this with her school work--hell she used to be like this as well. "I agree with Bones, here. You need to finish your paper, Fell. All the more reason to finish this fight as soon as possible!"
Sorry Kingsbane. They were going to finish this battle, whether you liked it or not!

Fell sighed in resignation. She knew, now that the both of them were onto her imcomplete paper, they would never let it go.
"Alright, alright. After this battle I promise, I'll go and finish that paper." She grinned, giving the broken doll ghoul a hard swat on the back. At least she was first allowed to finish the battle. That was a perk.
:Fine!: He hissed, obviously irate. :Finish this quick.:

"At a girl!" the doll chirped, pleased with the reaper's answer. Wincing from the swat Fell gave her, Mei stuck out her foot and tripped her in return.
"Yeah, yeah. Just for you, Bones, we'll finish this up real quick." Whether or not that was the truth or a lie, was yet to be seen.

Of course, the grim reaper didn't see the leg stuck out and inevitably tripped over it. Which was then followed by her becoming sprawled on the ground.
"That was a dirty trick." She huffed, grinning back up at the broken doll.

Snorting, Mei grinned down at Fell and gave an innocent shrug. "I did learn from the best." In any case, they needed to hurry this battle up. Striking out at the ghoul again, Mei aimed a swift punch to her torso.

Fell heard the wind leave her body in a 'whoosh' and was sent into a fit of coughing. Now that they knew she had a paper to write, it was like all play was set aside now.
Though despite Mei's attack, the grim reaper countered with a quick jab to the broken doll's side.
