Sonnet let out a sigh of relief when the girl didn't go down. She knew exactly what the floors could do to you if you were pushed, bumped into, or tripped... Yeah that was her amazingly clumsy on land.
It amazed her that the woman apologized and bowed to the man who had run into her, she'd seen fights start over less... As she walked up to them she finally saw the man's face there was another good reason to apologize. He only had one eye to use. 'Wonder what would happen if he lost the other one,' She thought, turning what would normally be a laugh (as she pictured a blind man trying to pilot a Zoid) into a friendly smile.
The man had practically no facial expression, a man with a bad attitude. When he spoke Sonnet was surprised that he sounded like he was scolding her. When he answered her question she was less than impressed with his tone as opposed to the woman's, and her genuine concern, but responded kindly, "That's good."
Thera could applaud the way she recovered from the collision without biting the dust. She saw the woman bow quickly and then say something. She was just out of ear range, in the slightly noisy hangar, but what she did hear was the male respond in a cold and scolding tone.
She rolled her eyes at his attitude, but brushed it off and watched him walk away without stating the snide comment that was on her mind. He was a bit of a jerk and Thera felt that it wouldn’t look good to get into something with some man that she hadn’t met before.
As he got farther away she smiled at Sonnet and the woman she hadn’t met before. “Hope you’re still having a good morning, my name is Thera. Good morning to you too Sonnet,” She said extending a hand to the lady who’d been run into.
(Sorry about the length my brain is still trying to get over being back in school)

Mya simply lifted an eyebrow slightly at the guy as he walked off but gave no further comment; she knew, some people simply weren't buddy buddy all the time and there was no reason to push them if they wanted to be alone.
Besides, there couldn't be anything worse in the world then her brother finding out there was no coffee in the house. Smiling lightly at the mental image of his rampage, she turned towards the other two females with a light nod. "All things considering, it's been well. I hope likewise for both of you?" A second bow and an outstretched hand gripped the offered one in a friendly manner.
"Im Mya, it's a pleasure to meet you both, Thera...Sonnet."
A pause.
"What brings you both down to the Hanger today?" A glance up at the ZOID Liger before returning it towards them both. "I hope there's nothing wrong with your ZOID, is there?"
Okay, it might seem silly to worry about a machine to most people...But really? They were partners and most had a personality of their own (artifical as it was at times).
Was this a sign she had been hanging around her father too much?

"Tch." Left Blitz as he let his gaze slide off to the side to the three, that had just only a moment before group around him. Just what he thought, no back bone. Flicking his head a little he tussled some of his hair from his single gaze. His hair was growing to be a bit too long, and covering his single way of sight. It was only a mater of time before the higher ups, b***h at him about military regs.
Letting out a sigh, The Male stopped by himself to look at what zoids had been left behind, their pilots dead. Poor bastards. It put a sour look one his already grimace look. It wasn't too long ago, that he was left a zoid from a friend........
Swallowing his nose wrinkled as he pushed the thought to the back of his mind. Folding his bare arms across his chest, He didn't want to think about his best friend. His brother-a better soldier then he...murdered.
"Hmpth." Breath from the discontent male, why the hell was it that, the one thing one trys to not think about, only invites doing so.
Blitz breathed out to himself. Tossing his arms down, he turned around and headed toward the exit of the hanger. He didn't care if he got KP duty for a week, he wasn't going to stay here willingly. It reminded him to much of what he did not want to think about.

"You're quite welcome besides you deserve praise for your amazing work," she glanced toward Raziel for a moment before smiling at both the dragon and Kard, the silver dragon gave a nod of agreement, she raised her brow curiously. “That would be lovely if I could thank him personally,” but who knew if he really would come, for all Angelina knew it would be one of his other family members
“I hope he’s getting better.” She added quietly. He’d been in a bad way when she left him, and she worried, she could remember most of what happened but when she read over the explanation she gave the higher soldiers it didn’t make any sense parts had been left out and some things she felt she should know she didn’t... she rubbed her hand on her head.
Angelina took a step back as he turned, “Have any other projects on the go?” she asked before quieting to let Lorna speak. Angelina loked back at the pods, they were going to be given away, just like how the black blade liger had changed hands, she hopped to finish her conversation with the new pilot one day.
Raziel craned her neck trying to see over the console to the pods and continued to gaze at them sadly, as she stood beside her bonded one.
-----------------
Cruse’s name didn’t mean as much to Lorna, she’d heard about the soldier being taken off active duty due to being unstable but she knew little more than that and what Angelina had decided to share with her, Lorna didn’t to ask about it feeling as though it was something quite private.
But To Kards other comment she gave a nod “Much easier, and I only have m self to blame if anything goes wrong” with her dislike of blaming others for her own mistakes she often took on more than she could handle trying to make sure she’ have no one else to blame so she could improve herself. “Ares is surprisingly picky...” she added under her breath.

"yes, it is," Thera responded to Mya's returned question. Thera gave a light shake of her hand before withdrawing it. "it's a pleasure to meet you too, Mya," She spoke with a smile.
"I'm here to see what will happen to those ZOIDs," Thera mentioned gesturing to the ones that had lost their pilots. She couldn't imagine what it would feel like to lose her partner. "There is nothing wrong with Blue Spirit, and if there was I probably would still be over there... no offense. I'm the one who works on her, I probably would have been too busy to notice what just happened." she said. She really hadn't meant any offense, the Shield Liger was her partner and no matter what went on she didn't want anything bad to happen to it...
Thera looked at the weapon case on Mya's back. "I'm guessing that you are some type of weapons expert. What do you specialize in? She asked interested in learning what Mya was trained with.
Sonnet nodded "It's morning, to say the least," she said still slightly perturbed by the person who dropped her off, because the loaner vehicle had broke down.
She shot a quick glare at Thera for saying her name before, she could introduce herself. Though she wasn't a fan of talking, it was still rude. "Nice to meet you too," She returned.
She shrugged when asked about why she was here today, "I had today off, but I heard there was something going on here today. I also like to see all the ZOIDs that come through here." She said looking first at the orphaned ZOIDS, then noticing that the man from earlier had changed direction and was walking out of the hangar.

"Those ZOIDs?" Mya frowned and cast a glance at the looming giants above them, frowning deeping and eyes gaining pity when she clicked two and two together into a possible situation as her gaze shifted back to Thera. "Dear gods....Don't tell me their pilots where the ones caught up in the incident on the news!"
The story had been heart-wrenching and terrible, a fate she wished on no one no matter who they were. To just take a life without bearing the burden of guilt for the rest of your lifetime....
It was unthinkable. And now these ZOIDs were without their partners, their....what was the title her grandfather had called his?
Aibou? Yes, that was it. Sighing, she let a small expression of thoughtfulness touch her face. "Well, Im glad that your ZOID is alright at the very least." The cadet nodded at Sonnet in agreement. "I can second that. It's surprising to see how many different models and modifications come stomping through here....though a lot of them can be mind-boggling when you think about them."
That's when she perked up at the question; smiling, Mya carefully slipped the bag from her shoulder and laid it on the ground. Unzipping it, the bag opened to reveal a well-polished sniper rifle (a slightly older model but in good working condition). "Sniping, as you can tell. My Grandpapa gave it to me when I entered the Academy." Grinning, she replaced the cover and put it back on her shoulder. "What about you guys? I told, now you have to as well."

If at all possible Kard's face continued to turn red as if it threatened to blend perfectly into his already vibrantly crimson hair. His hand reached back as he begun to rub the back of his neck nervously. It had been all too long since he had heard any form of complement from anyone. Most credited his father for the work that he had done on some of the organoids. He had learned to just let it go after a time..
"Uh,, well.." He fumbled around with his words. "I don't know how... he is doing... um, never really kept up with it?"
Curse his father for his overly sheltered life!! Kard let out a long drawn out breath before letting his hand rest at his side once more.
"I have a few things... but I can't really talk about them." Kard admitted before looking over to Lorna. "Y-yeah, that can be a good or bad thing. B-nut at least you know your partner well?"
He didn't mean to phrase it as a question, however his voice had been so shaken that is what it had seemed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Corporal Revel Harvester, he had been with the republic for years now. The military had been his life since he was but the age of five. His father had been a fine soldier before a skirmish with the chimera gang took his life eight ears ago.
His mother took the news hard and before her death two years ago held Revel very very close as he had an uncanny resemblance to his father. Lean build, 5' 11", short dark chestnut hair and hazel eyes. He bore three thin blue Zi marks on his right cheek and one on his left.
Before Blitz could make it too far the young soldier made a stern grab for the cadet's arm. He was well aware of this soldier's attitude, however he was not about to let him get away with treating a lady in such a terrible manner.
"Excuse me, sir." He spoke coolly to the angsty soldier. "I believe you owe those ladies-" He gestured to Thera, Mya, and Sonnet with a wave of his free hand. "-an apology for your rash actions."
Some of the crowed backed away from the two soldiers, but held their focus on them in case something should break out. Bets had to be placed before the General got there. Revel was hoping for to make a show of this one's actions. If there was anything he hated more than a bad attitude it was a bad attitude aimed toward innocence.

"I'm very glad too," Thera responded, she loved her Liger and there was nothing she wouldn't do to protect it. That was usually shown by the way she treated it when she was working on, around, or piloting it to some occasion; she seemed to get a little careless whilst piloting it... though she was working on that factor.
She smiled when she saw the beautiful old sniper rifle. "If it ain't broke don't fix it, right. With the way it looks right now that thing will probably outlive all of us," She said, not meaning that they would die soon, but that it looked better than the newer one, which she had heard weren't as good as some of their predecessors. When the question was returned to her she rubbed the back of her head "Well Right now I'm a mechanic, trying to figure out a better field expertise. I have experience in several models as my mother used to repair them for a living, I guess I could be called a jack of most trades..." she answered with a smile.
"I smell something about to start," Thera said following Sonnet's line of sight to where the two men were. "You want to go see my Liger," She asked in an attempt to move them out of the focus of said conflict. Knowing from his gesture that they were the focus...
"the variety of their pilots as well," Sonnet added, sometimes she was surprised to see the particular pilot get out of their ZOID. Some almost looked like they didn't belong in it, others almost looked exactly like theirs, and even more seemed to fit perfectly.
The rifle looked as amazing as she expected it to, judging from the way Mya seemed to care about the weapon and how old it was. While Sonnet had little experience firing rifles, she had read all about them and taken a class on how to properly care for them. The class had taught them to fire in a range, but Sonnet didn't get much time on it... it wasn't the only time, but she liked to think it was. Sonnet was a bit of a bookworm, she loved reading and learning new things so she had practically read the entire library section on the military. Having just read it all that she had 'learned' was technically theory. "I'm a trained medic," Sonnet paused before continuing, "I'd like to specialize in wolf type ZOIDs, not that it really counts as a skill." She had spent most of her time in a rental Command Wolf and knew it the best, she was now saving all that she could for a Konig Wolf. The Konig Wolf was similar to the Command Wolf in looks, but on a completely different level than it.
She gasped when she saw a man... a corporal grab the one who had bumped into Mya. Something was about to happen then the corporal gestured to them and Sonnet groaned. 'Great unnecessary attention,' She thought.

Blitz's mind was jurked away from his thoughts, and the idea of getting a smoke it. As he felt his arm, grabbed causing him to halt. Instantly, his arm flexed and tightened as his sharp teal gaze locked with the Corporal. His single eye looked him up and down, sizing him dully up.
"Your right." Blitz Jerked his arm free and back from the male. "I am sorry 'sir'..." The cadet, spoke letting his words drip with the venom of disdain, his single eye looked back over to the girls that he referred to.
"I am sorry, that they don't have the back bone to ask for it for them selves." The male seethed and looked back fully to Harvester. "And I am sorry. Sir. For your poor display of chivalry, and prestige you hope to gain and any meal I might loose over it." Blitz spoke narrowing his eye at the male. Standing his ground, as he challenged his superior officer. Not something he might gave done with a levelmind, but at the moment-the display was take like a bat was to a hornet nest.
"Sir." Blitz spoke and raised a hand to his brow for a salute, his words lazy and disrespectful.

"Agreed and Agreed." Mya laughed out loud that time. Her Grandfather had said the exact same thing when her brother had seen the gift and muttered about it needing an upgrade or two (possibly a dozen by his nerdy standards). Plus the ZOID upgrades? Like Sonnet said, it all depended on who worked and who piloted the ZOID.
Some like the over flashy while others like things the way they were with only minor tweeks.
"A medic and Mechanic?" She smiled brilliantly. "Ive got some dabblings in the medical area but mostly just for emergency, on-the-spot care. Are you more long term, Sonnet?" Mya attempted to split her attention evenly between the two women without appearing rude. "And I'd like to see how you take care of your ZOID sometime if ya would be willing to, Thera. I don't think I've seen the workings of a Shield Liger and yours seems very well taken care of."
That's when Thera had spoken up; following her line of sight, the blonde winced as their superior intercepted the male from before. She doublely winced as his harsh words drifted over to him, though she felt the need to bite her tongue as the statement "didn't have the backbone" came to her ears. Instead, she simply stepped forward with a tiny salute.
"Sir, if I may. There's no reason for something like this. I was the one standing in his way when we ran into each other. If anything, I should be apologizing...Not him."
Why couldn't they just close the issue instead of making it into something bigger then it actually was?

Revel willingly removed his had from Blitz as he jerked his arm away. The arm instead moved to his side, tense and ready as the other to defend himself if the subordinate got 'angry'.
"Oh, your mouth precedes you cadet, a wonder you have yet to climb any further in rank." Hazel eyes narrowed as he spoke coolly to the cadet. "That is still no excuse for showing such disrespect to a woman."
Much to his surprise Mya approached and offered to take the blame upon herself. Revel only shook his head and narrowed his cold gaze to the thug in front of him. The man's lack of respect would have been astounding if he had not already had such a reputation. Many perhaps belived the only thing keeping this man from being a cold blooded killer was his lack of an eye and stealth....
"It is very noble of you miss. However, it would demand even more of an apology that this poor soldier has insulted you verbally as well as physically. Wrongly accusing you ladies of being void of a back bone if only to compensate for his own lack of one.. "
He gave the woman a side glance, but held most of his focus on Blitz in the event he, again, grew violent.
Two more soldiers begun to approach the group. Private Kittson, a tall and very lean gentleman, and Cadet Farthworth, short and very well built.

“Apparently so,” Thera nodded, she had never asked what Sonnet did. Usually when she saw her they were off duty, more drinking friends than anything. "I'd lov...." she started but trailed of when the rude mystery man said that they had no backbone.
Thera growled at his comment, She started walking towards him seething, no one talked about her like that, she'd stood up to defend herself before and she didn’t let anyone get away with personal attacks. She didn’t know whether his bad attitude was caused by his bad eye or something else that had happened, but she couldn’t care less. Even if Mya didn’t let the comment affect her emotions, something she was trying to work on. She had been raised by her mother who had about the same attitude, but more control over it.
She opened her mouth to say something get herself in trouble, but someone grabbed onto her arm. She looked back to see Sonnet give her a warning glance. She closed her mouth and shot a dangerous glare in his direction, she wouldn’t forget.
As she saw more soldiers approaching she wiped the anger most of the way off her face, but her eye was still aflame with anger.
Sonnet smiled “My experience is mostly long term, but my family taught me emergency medical when I was about ten years old,” She responded not really elaborating on the circumstances that involved why she had to learn at such a young age. She had never really shared what her childhood had like, because it wasn’t the best.
She let the comment about her backbone roll off her shoulders unlike Thera. She didn’t need to prove she had one it would be show through her actions. She had noticed that Thera didn’t like anyone attacking her in anyway, psychologically or physically, one of the first times they had seen each other. She was a little surprised that Thera growled and set off towards the man while there was a superior officer present. When Thera opened her mouth to speak Sonnet grabbed onto her arm and shook her head no.
She gave the Corporal a look similar to apology, for Thera’s almost actions knowing that it would have caused a huge scene. She smiled to the people who were approaching as if nothing was wrong, but knowing they would probably notice the atmosphere here was a little less than friendly.

He didn't mean to phrase it as a question, however his voice had been so shaken that is what it had seemed. Angelina and Lorna were pleasantly unaware of the approaching brawl in the hanger Still protecting the room in which the organoids were located. Knowing a little of Blitz Angelina might have been able to help diffuse the situation had she been in the hanger at the time.
The pilot couldn't help but be worried about Cruse, and no new information had been provided to her about his situation or recovery, she kept thinking about the last time she'd seen him "It's alright, I bet you're constantly busy with work and I'm sure the higher ups know more about what’s going on than I do." she gave a sort of half smile though didn't move from the doorway.
Angelina gave a final nod and a shrug as though it wasn’t too important "I guessed as much." before glancing over to Lorna, Hopefully the wipe would be completed soon, and they could get this show on the road.
Raziel dared to wander toward Kard, sitting on her backlegs she reared putting her slender fingers on the consol as though trying to understand that which was before her and what everything meant... though she hadn't the slightest Idea where to begin.
The orange haired cadet quietly listened as the oblivious private and the beat red scientist conversed. Though she had to admit she was curious to know what the young Fox worked on though she didn't vocalize it. Lorna gave a nod when he began speaking to her "agreed, however I do I know Ares inside and out" she answered formally. Maintaining her posture, she was much tenser than Angelina who seemed to simply take things as it came... She envied the other woman a bit.

Blitz, took a lazy 'attention' stance to only make more mockery of the male in front of him. After all, they where not on duty-why would he grant this male the true respect of a soldier of the Republic, it was easy to distinguish those that deserve the 'heir' of such a thing or even breathable air at that.
His single gaze shifted over to the woman, he ran in to-who still took the blame for his mistake. Grant, it was commendable and a honorable trait, but a foolish one at that. No one should take on the burden of another's guilt. After all, all choices are freely made and in fairing to those that deserved to be punished. Looking back to Revel, Blitz released a slow sigh.
"You, miss understand me. Sir." Blitz calmy spoke, his voice sickly sweet and Menacingly detached in response to Harvester's words "You know, as well as I. That there is no 'woman' in the military, but just chest defects-or rather tumors." The male spoke in a unkind obviousness. "But, Perhaps you do make the one exception." Masters Sighed and moved a hand to his chin where he rubbed in a ponder and uninteresting looked him over.
The others that gather, Blitz Mischief Masters didn't seem to care to knowledge them in any way.

Mya flushed slightly at the "no women in the military" comment, plus frowned at the follow-up comment but made no move to take back her original statement.
She was no stranger to lewd men in the military (How many times had she helped chase away any boy found peeking in on the girls in the Academy? Several? Sometimes even worse things then that!), But Blitz? He was certainly a new side of the coin, that's for sure.
Hearing the growl from Thera, the cadet swiftly cast a glance in time to see Sonnet grab her before something happened. Relieved, but noting her stiff posture, Mya careful slipped over so, she too, could grab the women if more of the mans' comments got to her. Bad enough HE was out to pick a fight! They certainly didn't need to add more fuel to the flames by having a third jump in....That is, if the two others approaching didn't do anything either?
