“So where did you get your knowledge of healing?” Zuriel asked. For some odd reason walking in silence was weird with Yoru. Maybe it was just she gave off the Aura of all ways needing to be doing something exciting. Seeing her silent and thinking was weird. Suddenly Zuriel shook his head considering that probably could have been considered as an insult. Ugh he really needed to work on talking to girls. Maybe Yoru would be his test subject. She didn’t seem to put out by his way of talking yet. She was more the honest type that lied through omission if nothing else as strange as it might sound. Hmmm well know he had nothing to talk about again. Ugh he needed to get better at carrying on a conversation. Hmmm hadn’t he wondered about if she had any family to return to? “Don’t you have any family that would be missing you?” Zuriel asked before thinking. Hmm would that be considered not having any tact?
“Alright I will. It’s not too far from here, although it is down a small slope” Zuriel stated, ugh that was going to be absolute murder for his foot, however Yoru seemed like she was going to be up for the challenge. He wanted to know what it was like to be that excited with the prospect of adventure. He hoped hanging out with Yoru as he recovered would be good for him.

“Well I have a rather decent sized Family I guess. Mom had to deal with the four of us at once since Dad is a part of a tribe and couldn’t be there all the time. Unfortunately two of us are pretty rambunctious and since I’m the eldest I gotta try to take care of them and not bother mom right, because that would just be unheroic.” Yoru explained with a shake of her head. “So I picked up things when watching mom or just from experience. However I do have a history of Shaman’s in my family so it could be from that too”. Now to his second question, it was kind of sweet he was looking out for her family’s feelings or he was trying to get rid of her. Then again perhaps it was just a way to carry on the conversation. “Well Mom might miss us, but like her and dad said my siblings and I are all adults now and its time to see the world, make our own mistakes and stuff. So that’s what I’m doing. Of course I’ll go back and see them some time but other than that I should be fine”
“Slopes shouldn’t be a problem, unless you think it’s too much for you. Since you’re a guy I don’t think I would be able to carry you all the way but don’t worry I’m strong. I should be able to support you the whole way. So you move the way that’s less painful for you okay” She smiled shifting him ever so slightly. She had to admit, she wasn’t looking forward to going down said slope but heroes didn’t complain right?

“A large intact family must be nice?” Zuriel stated although there was a slight questioning tone to his statement. In his case his mom had been a bit not right in the head and had clung to Zuriel a bit harder than he should have. Zuriel had been fine with it after all it was the son’s job to take after the mother right? Plus Zuriel had been happy for the most part. He hadn’t known anything was too different, although he had seen siblings play together and had experienced a bit of jealousy.
“It’s a good goal; you should take care of your family and be there for them.” He agreed although a touch of anger laced through his voice as he recalled the situation with his dad. Well it was nice to know he wasn’t taking away family time. Seeing the world was pretty life changing, Zuriel was starting to change himself, see what he had with his mother hadn’t been normal. However at the same time it meant that Yoru was going to try and stay around for a while. Zuriel still wasn’t sure exactly how he felt about that.
Even if she had been a tom boy her strength couldn’t have just come from that could it? However she hadn’t complained yet. Maybe he could quickly test his weight on her and if she buckled or whined or something like that he could go back to carrying his own weight. Hesitantly he shifted it over, Yoru paused and sank to the side for a second but he noticed she began walking again. She definitely was an interesting girl.

“Well I suppose it is. Sometimes I wonder about what life would be with a small family and being the only child but then I wouldn’t be as awesome as I am now. I think taking care of my sister Akari helped me become the hero I am today” She smiled. She turned towards him and heard the questioning tone. Contrary to belief she did have some tacked and refrained from asking him about his own family. It sounded like he didn’t have the best family life. Well it was just another reason that she was going to step up to the plate and become his friend.
“Well thank you. You have any goals you’re aiming for at all?” Yoru asked trying to carry on the conversation. You did ask that question when trying right? Well it sounded like not asking about his family was a good idea after all as she noticed the anger lacing through his voice. Yoru decided to look up at the sky to keep from giving a pitiful look. Most people didn’t like being pitied and as a Hero it wouldn’t due to upset those she was trying to help, unless it was a good reason of course. Then the conversation died down again. Well Zuriel was entitled to drift into thoughts she supposed.
Suddenly the weight she was carrying shifted and Yoru smiled as she realized Zuriel was trusting her more and removing the weight from his injury. She sank to the side as she adjusted to the new weight but it wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle. Yoru prided herself on her strength. She gave a smile at him when she noticed a worried look on his face to show that she was perfectly fine. He was a bit heavier than she was used to but he did say his cave/den was close.
