Titus rolled his eyes, keeping his distance as Riyo continued to speak. He watched her movements curiously though not sure why she was hiding her face and wrapping around her pillow. "I'm not scared of anything." He barked.
The nerve! Why would he be scared of such a silly thing. Scared of feelings, beh. What did she take him for a scareling?
And then the question arose and Titus went silent. Why had he come? "I uh..." For a moment he looked like a hollow deer in headlights. His brain was coming up with nothing other than the truth. Jack damn it think of a bloody lie already! "I came to get some answers but I don't think I'm going to find them. Now if you're feeling better I suppose I will take my leave."
With that he turned on his heel and promptly tripped over a cat. The demon went stumbling forward trying to catch himself by running into a table and making a full circle before he slammed into the door frame with force. "Ow....." Slowly he reached for the handle and eased the door open and started to shift his way out. This was not the smoothest of exits.

Everyone was afraid of something.
This fact Riyo was fully aware of, and Titus probably was too when he wasn't busy lying to himself. In that way, he was like a child. But so was she.
Speaking of being childish, Riyo felt like a kid in a candy store when Titus's face went blank. For once, his lie wasn't that decent at all. Which made her wonder what he was covering up.
Had he... Come to check on her? The 'Now if you're feeling better' part seemed to suggest as much.
The ghoul had sat up to say something, but instead gasped as the boil went tumbling into her door. "W-wait a second Titus." Riyo's hand reached up slightly with nervousness, still holding her pillow tightly with the other hand.
"... Thank you. I appreciate the fact that you barged in here... For whatever reason you did it." A rare sincere smile crossed her face for mere seconds before she went back to a worn and tired exterior, finding it proper to lay back down and curl up even if sleep wouldn't see her for a long time. She didn't want to get up. Not for awhile. Perhaps she wasn't really feeling better, but there was no point in keeping the boil chained down because it would be awhile before she was. He had done his part and offered what he could. Like a few drops of water to a seed. It wasn't an act in vain, but the process would take time.

Titus was half way out the door when Riyo's voice reached his ears. There was a split second of hesitation before he looked back through the door his expression somewhat teetering toward being blank and confused. She...thanked him?
That smile sent a chill through him though he wasn't sure if it was a good chill or a bad one. He continued to stare even long after the ghoul's face had returned to its tired and worn state and she laid back down on the bed ready to rest. The demon was silent as he pulled the door shut mouthing two words he had never uttered in his life. 'Rest well'
He would not be stalking the demoness' dreams today. She no doubt had enough of her own nightmares to contend with and Titus wasn't as resourceful to end the nightmares. He could only create them.
