As soon as she saw the boy’s muscles bunching in preparation to leap, the words she’d held at bay came tumbling out:
“ Pomona Pepper Grenade!”
A large pepper that seemed to almost glow from within appeared in Pomona’s hand. Her attacks were meant to be used from a distance and thrown, so yet again she had to think fast and modify it. Snake youma turning towards her, mouth open? Well, that just made it more vulnerable. Pomona quickly raised the pepper between her and the youma, smashing it into the palm of her other hand to bust it and unleash its cloud of pepper gas. She started to duck and hoped that the smoke would act fast, because otherwise it was questionable if her reaction time would be enough to spare her a painful close-up from the snake.

There was smoke.
Despite how alarming it was to see the smoke, Nysa had been warned about the smoke. It was obviously a well known effect to whatever magic the senshi had control over. However, the smoke itself made it quite difficult for him to keep tabs on the situation from where he was surveying. Even from where he was standing, he could feel the corners of his eyes becoming a bit irritated from the smoke. It was fortunate he wasn't in the immediate area.
The youma, on the other hand, was not nearly as fortunate.
With its mouth open, it got a vast amount of the smoke inhaled immediately. As a result, its head went off course the moment an awkward gagging sound could be heard, followed by a monstrous screech. It's head practically ended up colliding with its coils that were still draped on the fire escape. It once more seemed to go into a similar pattern of pain as before, where it started to writhe from the very top, and the motion ran all the way down its long long body.

When no painful bite was immediately forthcoming, Pomona reached her hand into the haze of smoke towards where she’d last seen the youma. Eventually she felt something scaly, and she immediately latched on and tugged, pulling the youma free from whatever it had loosely anchored itself to. Feeling the snake come free, Pomona whipped the snake to the side, slamming it into the brick wall of the building. That, combined with the two assaults by pepper gas, finally seemed enough to send to youma back to whatever nightmare it’d come from.
Threat having vanished, Pomona leapt up and out of the smoke, landing clumsily on the roof. She hopped once and wobbled a bit before regaining her balance.
“ Well, that was fun.” She blew a lock of hair out of her face irritably and turned to Nysa. “ So you’re new, right?”
She certainly hoped he was new, otherwise he’d have a lot of s’plaining to do.

He might not have seen everything that led to the youma's demise, but he certainly could hear the sound of something being slammed against the building itself. The smoke was still present when the redhead had managed to leap out of it, clearly the victor.
The way she stood before him seemed mildly confrontational, and her question to him definitely seemed loaded. With a step or two taken back, the lad addressed her question. "I am reasonably new to this whole ordeal..."
He would not be defining the exact amount of time he had spent as a Page, for it was not the girl's concern.
"...but I must thank you for intervening, Miss... Pomona if I were to guess?"

Pomona nodded as the Page confirmed her suspicion. New. New and woefully lacking in training.
“ Yes, I’m Pomona. Senshi of Peppers, of all the silly things.”
She made a helpless gesture, indicating what she thought of that, and her body language loosened somewhat. It wasn’t her intention to alienate or attack the new guy – everyone had been there at some point – but she did want to make sure that he tried to, you know, not get killed.
“ Look, I- this is probably rude, but I’ve got to say it. I’m not a very good fighter, and if I’m rescuing you…” she trailed off with a shrug. “ You probably should find another knight or Page or whatever to mentor you.”

The redhead had completed her end of the introduction, so now it was his own turn to offer his own side of it. He extended his hand to her, and if she took it, he would merely lean down and plant a peck of a kiss upon the knuckle of her hand.
"I go by Nysa, Page of Neptune, Miss Pomona. And if you can beg my pardon, I must confess that if the potency of the magic of peppers is considered to be silly, then I would not want to be in a serious world by any means!" Her magic had been quite effective, and even without being a particular expert on peppers, he did know enough about them to realize it was quite an effective resource to depend on for magic.
If there was one thing the Super Senshi was, it was to the point. He didn't let a bit of disappointment show on his features as she seemed to call him out on how effectively useless he had been. He kept the calm, cool expression on his face with the touch of a polite smile touching his cheek.
"I will have to apologize, but I have yet to come across any others such as myself... I apparently seem to attract senshi rather than my own." He offered a slow nod forward, as if to acknowledge the fact that she was probably in the right with her advice. Nysa had at least two ounces of common sense to know that it would not be the wisest thing at that moment to mention that he was also a pacifist.

At the old-fashioned peck on the hand, Pomona couldn’t help but smile faintly; what very knightly manners. The smile slipped away quick enough though as Pomona became distracted but the problem at hand.
“ I’d offer to mentor you, but I’m not sure that’s the best idea.”
She’d be able to teach him what, exactly? Two lessons? He’d be better off then he was not, certainly, but there had to be a better solution then that. Pomona’s brows furrowed as she thought.
“ Um… I know of a knight – Squire? – of Saturn called Niflhel. And I know there’s at least one Earth knight and one Chronos knight, though I don’t know their names. Maybe you could try finding one of them?” She shrugged. “ If all else fails, I could try showing you stuff if we meet up again. I could manage teaching Dodging 101, if nothing else.”
At least Pomona could say she tried being useful. And hey, she did rescue him from a youma, so that counted for something, right?
“ I’ve got a sulking cat waiting for me, so I suppose I should go. It was nice meeting you though, Page Nysa.”

The girl's offer felt a bit lacking for him, only because he already knew how to dodge well enough. The difference between dodging and the situation he had just gone through was the fact there was very little room to actually dodge. However, he was not going to scorn her offer by any means.
With a smile that seemed as sincere as he had been the rest of this time, he replied "I appreciate the offer, Miss Pomona. I will also keep your words of advice in mind about locating these other 'knights,' as you have phrased it."
For a moment, he did seem to grow quiet as the girl mentioned her own cat. It was odd, for normally cat owners were covered in the dander, which would have caused his allergies to go off. Perhaps there was some magic blocking out the cat dander? He didn't know, nor would he dwell too much longer at this moment on it.
Perhaps later he'd give it more thought.
"I shall not impose, Miss Pomona. It was a pleasure to meet you as well, Miss Pomona. And I thank you for all of your assistance today." Since he had just kissed her had so recently, it would have been odd for him to go for another one at departure, but he offered as low a bow as he could without causing his sides to complain. When he straightened up, if she had already fled, he offered her one word before he departed.
"Adieu." With that, he sprang off to find his own way back to his dorm at Hillworth. He'd need to assess his own injury in private.
