"Oh, there sssshe isss!" She wriggled happily, giving the boil a brief squeeze to get his attention, in case her fussing didn't, "There! There!" She moved her head, hanging off the reaper's shoulders as she gestured at the mermaid with a tilt of her head, urging Thanatos to move; it was obvious which - of the two - was more excited about meeting up with old friends.
With a soft chuckle, he obliged, walking towards the center of the platform, "Hello-"
"Amphi, darling! It'ssss good to ssssee you!" She interrupted, giving her cheek a nuzzle before she realized how nervous she looked. Immediately, she curled around her shoulder, giving her another nuzzle, this time on the other side of her face, her voice filled with concern, "Are you feeling alright, darling? You look a little pale."

Amphi blinked as she heard the familiar hiss of a certain boil reaper Familiar and almost cried in relief. The snake's nuzzles didn't go ignored as Amphi held Biskoto tight and smiled a little at her.
"Unfortunately for me, I seem to have developed a fear of heights, mostly due to the extremely far aptitude of ground to this spot right now space...in case I fall or anything." She sighed, "I didn't plan on the height, though I planned on the dangers of being with the War Horsemen...." She paused and looked up to Thana, giving him a small smile and nod as well.
"Good day Thanatos." She gave him a odd look before, "I'm happy to see you....here."

((Entering!)) Nadia listened to the attendant intently, and started looking around only after she finished. It was best to hear every single word that an older one says, and members of this Clan in particular. Nadia had the feeling that they used their words like their weapons - swiftly and with no unnecessary flair. The abundance of trees and their elevation did not unnerve her, though she would be lying if she said she wasn't surprised. Then again, the Clan seemed to have some decidedly Amazonian traits. She turned from the window and studied the wooden floor, gauging how much weight it could sustain before cracking and sending everyone on it hurtling to the ground far below. After a through inspection, Nadia decided that there was no need to limit Fred's weight. Despite the somewhat ominous creaking, the wood was in no danger of splintering under the weight of a dozen students. Finished with assessing the danger of such a high elevation, Nadia finally glanced around the room, acquainting herself with the faces of the students. Most of them seemed at least a little unnerved by the height, but only one was as frightened as to risk the fury of the attendant by asking a question. Nadia decided to try and help the poor half-horse student as best as she could. " Hello!" Nadia whispered cheerfully when she crossed the distance between her and the student, not wishing to disturb either the Clan members or the other students. " You seem very upset by the height, is there anything I can do to take your mind off of it?"

((enter)) The weather in the isle of war was not the most hospitable for the frost demon, though the humid climate was quickly brushed off and sufferable in comparison to what she had gone through at the beach. A look of seriousness and a frown were perpetually etched across the ghoul's face since she had entered the Horsemen's territory. This would be offset however, by the fact that she was almost completely drenched in 1- Water of condensation and 2 – Meltwater, giving her a rather comical look. Edel furrowed her eyebrows and slicked her hair back, bunching it up into a ponytail. Occasionally, she found the need to remind herself that it could have been worse.
The view from the canopy was nothing short of spectacular. Having lived in the mountains, heights such as these weren't too much of an issue, though she would prefer it if she did not fall and plummet into the ground from this high up. The ghoul walked away from the windows towards where Rikki was, approaching with a little caution given the nature of their last encounter. “You're alright I hope?” she asked, testing the waters.

(ENTERING) Roch woke up the moment he was picked up, dropping down from Danny's shoulder, stretching his arms over his head with a grunt, and looking fully alert. Yes, astonishingly enough that little nap had been enough to get him going again. But he did reach up and check his earring count before holding out his hand to Danny. "Hand it over," he said, patiently. Before looking around. Wow... this was weird. "So... this is War?" he asked. "Nice view." Then he jerked, twisting and turning, his hand patting his chest in search for--"Jackdammit, I ain't got my guitar!" he muttered, a stressed out expression on his face. He should have seen that coming, he thought reluctantly--but this was an entire two weeks without his guitar-- The punk boil looked as if he was going to cry.

Ulmuka was thrilled. A whole community in the tops of trees? The strix kept making pleased 'hoo-ing' noises and shuffling around the other students impatiently. It was clear that the strix was happy with the height as his wings flexed. He just wanted to fly. "Am I free to fly?" His head tilted sideways at their War escort. "That is to say, to all properly designated areas." He giggled. "Instead of walking or elevators?" He was itching to get his shoes off as well. Shoes were not proper footwear for perching. He wished greatly to use his true form but the strix was very good at following strict rules. His life before Amityville had been dictated by them. He shuffled closer to Edel, glad to see her in his class. She was speaking with a boil he didn't know. "Isn't this wonderful, Edel?!" He hopped around her a moment and offered his taloned hand to the boil he didn't know. "Ulmuka Knobwalker. pleasure to meet you, classmate."

[[Entering]] Upon stepping through the portal, Herryk glanced around the spacious room. The floorboards groaned menacingly beneath his feet as the draugr made his way over to Calder. Reaching forward, Herryk placed a large hand on the kelpie's shoulder, following it up with a reassuring squeeze. "Calder. Do not worry, hmm? It is not so high up." Yes it was. "These floors are very sturdy." He lifted a foot before slamming it back down. "See?"

Poke was also impressed at the location and surroundings she had now found herself in, taking in the sights of the area, not to mention the attendant that was here now. She was talking about them being tested as warriors, and this just sounded absolutely bad a**. She was only to happy to oblige, but for now she would just listen to see if they would receive any more instructions.

Sheridan's mood may have improved, though only slightly. He was now in the home of the horsemen, that made him unhappy, his tail flicking back and forth like an annoyed cat. However he was in the clan of war, away from conquest and especially away from the clan of death, and that was at least a small relief.
He took a deep breath, inhaling the air. It was warmer than he would have liked, but he could feel they were high. Not so high as the mountains of his birth, but far higher than even the tallest roofs of Ammityville. His eyes closed, a faint sense of peace despite the creaky floors and the commotion of other students around him.
Not that he was letting down his guard or that his suspicions had lessened. But maybe he could tolerate this, for now, it was only a couple weeks, right?

Calder had just been on the verge of hyperventilating when a ghoul came over to ask if he was okay. Very much on edge, he gripped his arms about him and nodded, lying with the gesture. "oh....I'm fine. Just.....I've never been this high before. I haven't even climbed a normal tree in all my life and we don't even have much in the way of hills where I live and this is just really, really, reeeeeeaaallllllyyyy high up but I should be fine if I just don't move and not touch anything just in case it breaks and sends me falling to my death." He let out a very high pitched laugh and went back to looking at the ground.
That's when a heavy hand rested on his shoulder that made Calder whinny out as he jumped in place. Yup. He was perfectly fine.
"Oh...hello Herryk. Yes. Not high up. I...." And that's when Herryk tested the creaking floorboards, sending Calder whinnying again and and dropping down, covering his head and whimpering. "Ahhhhh!!!!OhmyJackI'mgoingtodie!I'mgoingtodie.I'mgoingtodie." The kelpie started to rock in place, arms crossed over his head as he gripped his hair."Whyiseverythingsohighandthegroundsofarawayyyyyyyyy??" He whined.

Ulmuka jumped when he heard Calder scream. The strix was not very close with the kelpie but he'd like to think they were friends in some small way. The strix didn't like seeing someone so distressed over heights. Always grinning, he shuffled behind the kelpie and rested his hands on the boil's shoulders. "It's alright Calder." He chittered, teeth clacking happily. "I have wings. Do not worry about falling. Hold my arm and if something happens I will fly and catch you, hm?" He tilted his head, trying to be helpful.

Rikki had been looking around with a smile plastered firmly on his face. It was quite obvious that he was really enjoying the experience so far. However, when a familiar voice reached out to him, his spun around, his mouth forming a slight "o".
"Edel," he breathed her name, like all the nightmares had made him doubt her survival. But she was here. She was wet, and looked unhappy, but she was here. He couldn't see any physical injuries, no lasting issues from whatever illusion the weaponization had been. And for the first time since the trials he wasn't seeing her face cast in horrible shadows and screwed up in unbelievable pain.
Without another word he walked to her and pulled her into a hug, despite what he normally might have done. "I'm... I'm so glad you're okay." He barely noticed the strix approach, but when he did he pulled away from the hug and took the boils hand, trying to hide the fact that he was feeling kind of emotional. "Nyyrikki Synkka. Call me Rikki."

Nadia was thrilled when two other ghouls came over to soothe the frightened... Calder, was it? She didn't have much experience meeting new people, after all, and this gave her a chance to introduce herself! Neat! " Both of your friends are right, Calder, there's nothing to be afraid of! The wood is very sturdy, and won't crack even if another dozen of students comes along, and believe me, I'm very good at mass and weight calculations," Nadia smiled reassuringly, trying to show her deep trust in her own calculations. " And even if, by some extremely unlikely event, the floor was to crash, I'm sure your feathered friend is strong enough to carry you to safety, isn't that right umm, I didn't catch your name?" Nadia fervently hoped she didn't come off as too straightforward.

There had been no indication of exactly what lay in store for them when they chose their classes, and clans, for this field experiment. Riley had chosen hers for the superficial value their names alone held, and of course for her brief experience with the heir of Conquest. But when she first set eyes on the world of the War Clan, and took in the sight of their culture and living accommodations, her heart swelled with sudden and forceful emotion.
They were aboveground, in the trees, and in the air. This was the only thing about the War clan that Riley did not immediately begin to associate with, for her life had been spent underground, in caves. But the decor, the proud warriors, the way they greeted one another with spars, the strong female presence, and even the way their host spoke to them; challenging them with every word-
Riley had not been this happy in a long, long time.
She moved forward to the front of the group, her foul and darkened mood lifting from her immediately. She could live here forever, if she would ever have been given the chance. It was as close to home as she could get, and it was safe from them. So she asked the first question that bubbled into her excited mind, speaking before thinking for the first time in ages. She couldn't help herself.
Do you have to be born into this clan, or do they offer outsiders a chance to convert?

[Entering] Once they had gotten into the forest proper, Siddie found herself relaxing a little; the sky might be clear and bright and the platforms vertiginous, but the thick vegetation meant that there were dapples and long stripes of shadow everywhere. It wasn't like the welcoming darkness inside the rooms in the house she'd grown up in, but there was enough dark that she was no longer anywhere near as nervous. She flexed her fingers a little and wondered if, given enough time and practice, she could produce wings. Though that wasn't her particular talent, so even if she did, she probably wouldn't ever be able to fly with them, she realized. She listened to the representative of War; the horseman asked for questions, but didn't seem at all like she actually wanted to hear them, so Siddie didn't ask any. Calder was terrified. Siddie sidled over to the kelpie boil and took his hand. "It's okay," she said. "You won't fall, we're here."
