Galactic Commander Tethys

In the silence that followed, Tethys lowered her hand. Her dark eyes shuttered in a slow blink at the stricken pair. "You're high-ranking enough to know where you live."

"... W'weretol' neversspeak 'strangers..." Tambrey croaked barely audibly and a little bit slurred. She'd probably regret that too and it actually hurt to get the words out.
That had hurt, and still hurt, a lot more than last time.
She couldn't move her limbs... No, wait. She felt like her limbs were moving but they were... 'locked up' still.
Not paralysis, she could, as demonstrated kind of speak a little, but something was wrong.
She felt like she was burnt or burning, frozen and under a hundred little needles still all at the same time, while the outside world was made of... oh. Fuzz.
She couldn't see quite right; things were fuzzy with little spots of disconcerting 'light'.
That couldn't be good.

She felt Xander's hand as something... different to what she would expect. Her skin still tingled and burned from the electricity and the contact felt... numb and hot; almost like pins and needles from an outside source.
She did appreciate the gesture- or would have if she'd been a little more able to focus on it.

Not a question, wont get an answer from him. Xander had decided to just be as quiet as he could get away with in an attempt to cut back on the shocks for Tambrey. Probably not going to last long though. Tam's comment had him biting back a smile though.

Tethys looked between the two of them. "I'll ask again." Her expression and voice were still curiously detached, perhaps moreso than at the start. "What is the location of your base? Oh, and-" She slid her baton out of its holster and pressed the end under Tambrey's chin, tipping the grunt's face up to meet her eyes. "I don't want to cause undue suffering. If you feel any discomfort, please - let it be known. I imagine your friend would be willing to shoulder the burden."

"...sec'n star t'the right..." Tambrey mumbled before finding herself, unwillingly, looking up into Tethys' eyes. Gah!
She listened carefully to the words, weighing up the meaning and slid her eyes to look at what she could see of the fuzzy Xander nearby.
No, she wasn't prepared to get her friend hurt... It was bad enough that they were suffering this in front of each other.
She looked back at the... somehow increasingly more frightening woman before her. She really didn't -want- to look in her eyes, but once again found herself doing so.
Her face set a little- clamming up without an answer.

Xander looked over at Tambrey with a worried look then turned his glare back to Tethys. "Leave her alone please. And you know we can't and wont tell you that secret." His grip tightened slightly on his friend's hand for a second in apology since his refusal was most likely going to get one of them hurt and from the pattern so far it would be her.

The lightning lanced forward as the baton drew back, striking Tambrey again, though if still in Xander's her hand was conduit for the current.

The pale woman's lips flexed a fraction. "And straight on 'til morning," she promised. "I'll ask again."

The hand-squeeze was noticeable once again as a warm form of pins and needles and felt like it was happening from somewhat far away.

Tambrey went rigid as she was struck again, once again screaming out as her skin crawled and burnt; her joints painfully locking into place. The grunt felt she'd either burst or snap under the current.

She realised too late about Xander's hand and could only hope he'd known to let go before they both suffered under Tethys' attack.

She fell to one side in her chair when the shock ended, in a little danger, now, of slipping out onto the floor.
"N'm" She mumbled unhelpfully.

It never even occurred to Xander to let go of Tambrey when she was hit again. He tensed as the electricity got him too but bit his lip and kept holding on. Once that was over he shook his head slightly then looked at Tambrey worriedly as she tilted. He threw Tethys a glare then got up out of his seat to step over and steady Tam in her seat.

"And you'll get the same answer over and over from each of us. You should understand loyalty for your team, so believe me when I say that not one of the team that you captured will tell you what you want to know." He said as he stepped in between Tambrey and Tethys, knowing it probably wouldn't help in the long run though if the woman wanted to get to her.

Another little head-tilt. Then Tethys said: "I see."

Eyes on Xander, Tethys touched two fingers to her ear. "Rigel. Vega," she summoned. "Take the male."

The white door opened and the escort guards promptly moved in on him with heavy footsteps, coming between the Rockets with guns and herding motions.

Tambrey found herself dizzy and lightheaded- there were more points of light than there had been before.
She wobbled as she painfully moved her head to offer a rather broken and guilty looking smile at Xander as he spoke and helped her to sit up.

Her expression turned to panic and anger though as the Galactics arrived to take her friend. She started to try to get up, with some vague intention to help fight off the fuzzy guard blobs... It wasn't a good plan. She wasn't going to be staying standing for more than a second or two at that moment anyway.

".. Y' leave 'm 'lone..."

They were going to be separated now. That knowledge caused the nervousness and fear in Xander to grow a bit and he looked over at Tambrey before looking back to the guards. This was not good, he didn't want to leave her when she was like this. Of course at the moment he was willfully ignoring what could happen to him once he left since focusing on Tambrey was helping keep him from freaking out about that.

When she tried to speak up for him and stand up however he put a hand up in a halt motion. "Don't try to move yet." He was not about to have her attempting to stand up to guys with guns at the ready, at least with Tethys she had hers holstered. He looked between his friend to Tethys to the guards for a moment before clenching his other hand into a fist at his side and giving a tight, fake smile to the guards. "Shall we then?" Keep it together now and try not to provoke gun wounds to either of them, freak out later.

Tethys' black eyes caught Tambrey's shaky rise in their peripheral view and dismissed it. She looked in a state to be a threat to the clean floor and nothing else.

The guards didn't respond to Xander's jibe, but at a small nod from the commander, with pokes to the small of the back with rifle muzzles and unamused expressions, they ushered Xander out the door, cutting a wide berth around the hovering Starmie present.

As the door shut again, Tethys turned her full attention on the remaining Rocket. "And I thought he would help you," she murmured. The baton tapped at her side; she moved in on the girl. "That's unfortunate."

Tambrey found herself watching Xander go while she lost her balance and found herself back in the chair.
Her eyes watched the blurry door shut, though she was more focused on the sound, then tracked back as Tethys spoke, watching the blue-haired Galactic closing in on her.
'That's unfortunate.'
She wanted to shrink back into the chair; she knew what was about to happen and though she was still determined not to give anything away, she wasn't entirely sure that Tethys was just doing this for information now anyway.
The grunt could only watch her approach- there was little fight left after the shocks.
